Cheers +Beatstranger we really appreciate the comments, hopefully we will continue to provide a great selection of routes for cyclists of all levels to try out. Steve
It's a great route, I once rode out from Finkle Street Lane and got as far as Brough, before the light went, however the further East you go the more industrial it gets. Saying that Hornsea and the area around it are still quite pleasant.
How do you get such stable videos, what sort of set up do you have to record without all the shaking you see on some videos ? Really enjoyed the video hope to try this trail sometime :)
+TheTraveldiaries1 we have Sony Action cams, HDR-AS30V & HDR-AS100V. 99.9% of the time they are fixed firmly to the handle bar, and the bracket has no give whatsoever this will reduce the stuttering a bit, we always have them configured to remove minor shaking, all this helps but you will sometimes get very shaky down hill footage if I'm going fast enough over rough terrain :) Cheers for the comments Steve.
+Cycle Routes Many thanks for the info Steve, i have a gopro with a head strap so i figure that would work ok & also have just bought a cycle clamp for the handlebars so here's to planning a cycling trip, thanks for your help & all the very best with your cycling journeys & i subbed too :)
Can anyone recommend a good way of planning and uploading a route from DN1 1NH to FY4 1BA to my Garmin Nuvi...I have been on Cyclestreets and got the route I want to take which is the balanced route but not sure how to upload it to the sat nav
If you've never planned a route of that length before or unsure of National cycle Network routes, "Bike Hub" can usually help. It's a 107-mile journey and a lot of it can be done on the TPT West from Doncaster. routes.bikehub.co.uk/journey/53196650/#balanced Once you have your route you can download the GPX file, then look up how to do the import specifically for your device. Hope this helps Steve
I used this video to cycle from Barnsley to Conisbrough and back yesterday - your help is much appreciated. :)

Thanks +Peter Bentley we always appreciate your feedback.
I've done this from Elsecar . . But after a pint at the Boat Inn, cycled on towards Bentley beyond Doncaster and got the train back.

I live near Old Moor and most of the TPT pathway had been resurfaced and widened
Thanks for the update Jack, there is an ongoing plan for improvements and upgardes pretty much through the TPT's entire length. Steve 👍

I see you have watched the "Wortley to Old Moor" vid, the down hill from the farm on that video was shot with the AS100v strapped to my head :)
