Which overall robo vacuum would you recommend (not necessarily between these two) for having an infant who likes to throw toys everywhere (obviously we will do our best to clean them all up before vacuuming) and adding in that we have three animals. All house trained no accidents. Mopping would be great too, but we have numerous obstacles; chairs, couch, kiddo toys, low pile rugs without fringe, carpet, and hardwood floor.
at 5:24 you can see that the s9+ had it a little easier at first because in front of her the amount of debris wasn't much. By the time she got to the other side of the Room the i3 and the i6 had taken the brunt of it. Also, something was wrong with that i6 unit. It went to top of big patches of cereal and did pick up much 5:25 and 6:00 it just kind of spread it, and it did not sense it was full either until way later.
I loved this video, now if they only had weaponry… LOL. I got my AI XL set up this morning with the JetBot sitting on the sidelines scowling at the new kid in town. Hey dude, chill, self empty bin! FTW! For another version of this Deathmatch Challenge Keep the S9+ and J7+ as they never got confused. Add the JetBot Plus and AI XL as the upstarts. I’m curious as the JB seemed to empty itself in one of your tests, what if Samsung is monitoring something other than the bin to determine fullness, like suction power? The AI XL has a 30 minute timer, is that enough in a room this dirty or will it just clog out? Great video, Adam!
@@AdamsReviews you’re probably right but did you think the i3 and i6 would be as bad as they were? I think the DeathMatch Challenge is the ultimate test. ;-) I’ve been playing with my AI XL this morning. My first problem was registering it. The app refused to acknowledge my zip code. I’m in Los Angeles and it’s an old Zip. I called and told them to fix that. He promised to forward it. When I sent it out to explore it was making a slapping sound. Argh, I figured maybe it’s broken already. It finished and mapped reasonably well and I was able to map my rooms just as I wanted, unlike the Samsung. Yeah, not tracking it live is a bummer, like my 981. It needs to be fixed. The slapping sound got less, I did check the roller and nothing was caught to my knowledge. When it was cleaning, the noise level is pretty good, almost as quiet as the Samsung. After my initial play, I’m letting it fully charge. I have to get used to a new set of noises with this one. Not used to a SEB, and the flap noise closing caught my ear. It didn’t get caught on my thresholds, yet, like the Samsung. So far it’s doing OK and I’ll keep testing it. I can’t imagine dealing with 40 of these, LOL! Joe
Your title mentions 6 (six) vacuums, yet you are only testing 4 (four)! I liked it, but can you either correct the title so it is not confusing or include an edit for the i7? Thank you.
Could you please help me ? I now own the Roomba E5, but I'm getting more and more annoyed at how often it freezes. On the same piece. This one needs to be replaced. I’m wheelchair bound and my house is laminated all over. Hard floor. Sometimes my cat goes over her neck. The J7+ should then be the best choice. The S9+ came out the best out of all your videos and is therefore doubting between the S9+ and the J7+. It must have a cleaning station. Again: do you want to help me with the choice and then the question why? I'd like to hear from you. Regards, Paul (from the Netherlands) Google Translate it.
The easiest way to tell if someone has anger management problems is to put them in the room with the roomba and count the number of profanities you hear them say in 30 minutes. Anywhere from 50 to 100 is pretty standard for the average roomba owner
@@BotvacProductions469 i7 is the exact same as i6 robot but different name, the i6 is exclusive for amazon, the i7 for the rest of the stores, it's just a name thing. They are identical.

S9+ was a beast here and the clear winner!
Can you do a video of the s9+ versus the i8 from Costco?
I have the i3 and the s9+
The Roomba j7 can recognize things such as socks and cables - but not its "brothers and sisters"
ye lol cuz nobody is stupid to have 2 robot vacums running at once lol
Haha
Nice video. Did you weight the dirt that has been pickup by each robot?
9:25 they not only clean, they make artwork

J7
S9+, new software update gives it obstacle avoidance similar to the j7+
Hi there,
Could you do a video of the s9 and j7 comparison video just on hardwood?
I would like to see a video on robotic mops comparison.
So is it safe to say I should get the S9+ over the J7+ if dog messes and cords aren’t really an issue?
yes, and as far as i know the s9 might have an update to work almost like the j7
I like that you don't get into specs. This proves suction and airflow don't mean as much. Agitaion is the key on carpet.

At first yes but towards the middle it sucked up a ton of big piles.
Экс робот как идти а я что а что что ничего ничего да

Awesome, thank you, just might have to get an S9!

Unfortunately the shark would fail this miserably

Roomba should hire you as a tester as that took some effort to organize and produce. After seeing this video I purchased the J7+!!
Thanks, They are one of the only companies who have never replied back to any of my messages.

The i6 i7 and i8 are the same exact robot vacuum.
Can you please do a steep slope climbing test for your roombas
Could you please help me ?

i remember watching this when it came out
(on a diff acc don't try to fact check me)
and it was very fun to watch for some reason??????
The j7 has a code and no sensor. The i3, i6/i7 and s9 use sensors.
With all those robots the carpet has to be clean.
Hate to bust your bubble but I like I3 and I think it is the winner
By the way at the ending at the video the i3 was using the i7 dock so the i7 had to use the i3’s charging dock
What about the i7+ and the i8+ and I truly think the s9+ is the clear winner
They are the same as the i6. Yea I agree the s9 is best
Idk why but it kinda reminds me of hungry hungry hippos lol
Nice video ! Where's the difference between The i6+ and i7+ ? Since ever I found roomba numbers weird 😂
Nothing. One is made for amazon and the i7 is made for all stores.
@@AdamsReviews Thank you very much !
I6+ da psst ganz schön was in den auffangbehälter!
S9+ is like, "Just another day at the park"
BBBRRRUUUHHH I love CCCRRREEEOOOLLL
Do it with mopping robots!
Bet you had fun throwing all that mess hahaha
Kinda =)
Can;t believe that the i6+ only needed one dump out
It’s like battlebots
what about the i7
same as the i6

You could have gave them to me
i like it
It’s funny that the i3 get the i6 dock
the reason why only roombas have bin sensors is because its patented. if it was copied by another brand, irobot would sue them
Wow
👌
Imagine how much mice he gets in his house
Yes, its everywhere!!!

me wondering here why Adam built a test room...
lol yeah I plan to move everything down there very soon. I have too many bots downstairs and need to organize.

HI
i3 chadding and stealing the dock 😂
Where is iRobot roomba. i7+
The i6 and i7 are the same vacuum. The i6 is an Amazon exclusive I believe. The i7 is available for all other retailers.
I was waiting on when he was going to pour the milk
I was disappointed at the end
Where was the i7+ & i8+ robots
They are the same as the i6
31 roombas
