But, like, why also choose to cast games by players that you obviously don't respect and obviously don't care about? It doesn't make for pleasant viewing
@@YuriHabadakas We talked a bit about this and the whole insulting thing seems to be a normal thing. But even then it appears Walker is considered by at least two people prominent players, namely Harald and Lemminkäinen (Wingflier often casts them), sometimes crazy, and I quote directly "from time to time loses his mind completely". Though I personally have no experience with Walker, and only know him from Wingflier's casts. So hopefully this doesn't shed a bad light on the community as a whole. As to answer your question, Wingflier personally doesn't mind casting Walker (he's obviously skilled) and is practically immune to people talking shit, especially so when it's coming from Walker 😂
You misunderstand the goal. The goal is viewership and engagement. The toxic player has got you to engage more with this video via the comments section, and got others including me engaging with you more than we would have without the toxic player. You got gamed, you played right into it, and it worked like a charm.
C'mon now, don't call it a "game full of ragers" when (at the time) it was literally only Walker who had been raging - flinging homophobic slurs in chat no less. No wonder nobody wants to help their teammates when they act like edgy 10 year olds. Honestly you shouldn't excuse behaviour like that by saying things like "well it must be frustrating to have bad teammates". It's not hard to trash talk without bringing slurs into it. Reflects badly on the entire community when it is laughed off. Also lol @ wotan shitting on ella when brown built like 10 units the entire game?
Agreed. I don't think players should be taking things so seriously in these large team-games. He's said multiple times in previous casts "this is a game for all skill levels, we have a welcoming community" but excusing this behavior helps to prove otherwise. 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, you shouldn't ever be getting angry about having a bad teammate, chances are the opposing team got one as well. You save the heat for the 1v1 and 2v2's where you can vet and pick your teammates.
Yeah like a game is supposed to be fun, why bring hate into it? Not everyone's gonna be on the same skill level either and if you're playing in a team you have to also take that into account, you can't just do your own thing if 'doing your own thing' means needing to rely on your team mate to carry you and they're not capable of it. You have to adapt your strategy accordingly.
I agree that Wotan was the MVP and that the harbinger of the southern team's defeat was Walker's loss of his two advanced vehicle plants.
Before watching: That is a _wicked_ thumbnail you chose for this video; one of your best.
@ 39:41 ?
hurray :D
Lool the swamp castle strategy
I'm glad someone got the reference 😆
@@NactSuht Message for you, sir. Loved it :D
These rectangular maps appeared to be favored over the more roomy square ones.
Walker was being absolutely toxic. Why even play PVP games when you clearly aren't having any fun playing them.

Could someone explain to me why most people seem to play CORE on TAESC?
