You should have gone through the ones in the back. Everytime a person's digs to the back they end up finding a gem. I never want to but then I'm like "screw it ill look" and I end up finding a sick video game. It works with everything too. The other day I wanted to buy a box of honey garlic chicken bites because they were on sale for 8 bucks and they're regularly 17 bucks which is ridiculous. All they had in the sale area was the BBQ chicken bites and then over in the normal freezer they only had the BBQ chicken bites as well. Then I just thought to dig to the back and sure enough I found ONE box of honey garlic. Haha random unnecessary story but I'm just pointing out that when ya dig to the back ya always find the good stuff. Perhaps it's because people hide stuff in the back so they can come back for it later. There are likely a few reasons.
Good point next time I visit another charity shop I will make sure to have a thorough dig 👍

Just to check and advise you... You do realise its actually illegal for any retailer to sell bootleg dvds, even if its charity shops? On the charity shops websites, they clearly state they should only take in dvds that are genuine, not pirated, has the correct region, bbfc film/tv classification and also not home recordings? If the Police, Trading Standards or FACT ever turn up and see stuff like this... They would get severely fined and at risk of being shut down.
I've been going through all the charity shops across Greater Manchester and parts of Yorkshire and was shocked on the content i found, along with being shocked on how much lack of training was given on the staff who manage the stores.
Next worse places i found... Bootlegs, Region 1 DVDs were discovered in CEX, Cash Generator and Cash Converters!

Because I can't find a copy I have been looking but I still haven't found 1 copy yet. I will keep looking though.
