Best sf cinematic ever the hype that it got me into back in 2008 was unreal. So many memories...

This was the perfect intro to introduce the return of SFIV. Gawd listening to this now just like at the time this game came out still gives goosebumps. The good kinds.
I wish the SFIV devs didn't lose their way and kept this same kind of tone and personality in future versions.
I feel like SFIV really was a biggg deal when it came out. It had such a huge impact amongst my friends, everyone was talking about it. Maybe cuz we have not seen a "modern" SF game
Completely agree, too bad this opening and song got a lot of backlash at the time. In retrospect, it was probably just a vocal minority because everyone seems to remember it fondly now.
@@kingvr4684 Big deal because both SFA3 and Third Strike released in 1998 and 1999 respectively. This was SF after almost a decade of not being around, having Tekken eat up most of the fighting game pie.
This one is pretty ass. Super and Ultra are better

In the anime, C.Viper flew away like AstroBoy / Iron Man just to avoid being killed by Evil Ryuu ^_^
my favorite part was when Gouki punished Gouken's Hyakki Gojin with a sure-fire Shun Goku Satsu ( Jump to part: @2:32 up to @2:45 ) 😊 oh yeah! LP, LP, forward, LK, HP and Gouken was caught 😊
It don't even work on Gouken anymore , let alone back then , Gouken power of nothingness actvated Ghosting mode
btw gouken can punish akuma but lets him b for his ego

The real Shun Goku Satsu (of Shin Gouki) passes through any projectile.
Does anyone know if you will be able to choose between the different opening songs in the American version? I know you can have either Japanese or English voice overs, but what about the opening?
