I was there!- they were stacking tool boxes on Sleepys left front wheel to bent it back into shape between races! I crewed for a prod saloon 77H

Yeah sleepy trip I remember you man , late 70's there at Western Springs

I remember going to the springs in those days. That when they used to have bikes and sidecars as well. Bill Mudgway calling the races and the flag guy who used jump up and down on the track waving them.

I remember that race like it was yesterday. It was obvious that Sleepy would be disqualified. Good try though. 40 years ago! Wow!

Very lucky ... We don't get any acid any more in Australia. But we do get plenty of Magic Mushrooms when they're in season!! Good stuff 😎
