I have no family, friends or anyone else in my life that I would list as a beneficiary for anything. No life insureance or anything like that. I'm 66, in good health. When my time comes, I'm ready - any time is fine. All the shit I have, and what little bit of "wealth" I may have will mean nothing to anyone. It just doesn't matter to me at this point.
Well donate some of the belongings you don't want or don't need anymore to your local homeless shelter or goodwill . I'm sure whatever it is might help someone out in need . After all we all are born naked & we all die naked . I've never seen a U-Haul behind a Hearse and a Shroud has no pockets..
Leave it as an endowment to someone. You define the parameters. Maybe a struggling student or the owner of a business that you like...your favorite diner. Why don't you have friends? That is concerning. Do you know my Jesus? He will be such a friend to you!
You're right. I moved to a small farming/ranching area. I wanted to run a business, and I saw the need for a retailing/ service business. I researched what was required and connected with others in that line of business. I raised the capital and invested my time and effort. I ran the business for 33 years and retired from it. Yes, I had my ups and down. Overall it was a success.
There’s a thing called elder abuse and it can happen over estate and wills. In my hometown a lady inherited the mansion of the family she married into that was built in 1919 and has historical designation. She inherited the newspaper that family owned. She sold it all and married a guy who was a member of the board of the NYSE. He died just a few years later and inherited $750,000,000 and his seat at the NYSE. She became the first woman to hold a seat at the NYSE. She then married an Arab fellow and was starting to lose it. He made her change the will so that her family, nephews, nieces, were left out. It looks like she got taken advantage of. He kept the estate to himself. You have to keep in touch.
Learn how to do stuff: In the past I've done things like 1) install a CNG kit on my car so I could flip between gasoline and CNG. Then built a CNG compressor+tank+filling system in my home (got me out of the per-gallon gasoline taxes), 2) installed a breaker box with a switch to move from the street over to generator input. After hurricanes, while others were wandering around looking for food and water in the sweltering heat, I was loaded up on supplies and watching movies on my big screen in the A/C (the condenser is in its own enclave in the back so if anyone heard it, they didn't risk having a look - "you loot, we shoot" environment). I do this stuff just for personal satisfaction, but being skillful also equates to a lot of extra freedom and independence.
I've observed for most of my life that the majority of people lack motivation and do not want to learn anything new. They want someone else to do it for them. Sad.
I think we are supposed to say “geo engineering” because they have made chem trials term Like the term conspiracy theory - nonetheless - it may be the biggest issue among many that have been slowly destroying the country’s population since the 60 - especially in California - and is another reason the fires were so out of control.

We here in Western Colorado have a leash-free dog park that is on the Colorado River that is a mile long. Gorgeous park. Huge cottonwoods, hawks, eagles, osprey, geese, and all the dogs, from tiny to huge, all play together with no problems.....I have never seen a fight in 25 years. It's the happiest place in town.
I moved from SoCal to western Oregon 22 yrs ago. I'm fairly rural now--when I was still working, I drove 18 miles to work--not bad. The weather is mild. I love it....a little gray for quite a while, but better than a noisy, crowded hot city.

Jasmine Harvey has taught me how to generate profit. Now I monitor before I place and that's the best. The most amazing part is that I still go about my daily job as usual.
Dan, obviously having about any decent car costs money in one way or the other. I think the tesla model 3 is a good deal right now but you need a level 2 place to charge it and they rip you off on registration, licensing, and/or other fees and they rip you off on insurance just because it's an electric car.
@@BOLIS lol. I leased one for 3 years. I loved not having to do anything to it except rotate tires. It's a well thought out car but I feel like tesla has too much control over your car.
Dan, you seem to have totally missed the point on what a BHEV is. The point is that you DO NOT NEED to plug it in when you are not at home. The car has a gasoline engine that will either power the vehicle directly or power a generator to make electricity on demand for the electric motors (these are the two types of plug in hybrids). So when the battery is drained, the gasoline engine expands the usable range of the vehicle. In theory it should provide the best of both worlds of conventional ICE powered and battery electric vehicles. But as with many things, the execution often leaves much to be desired. These are complex machines with plenty of components that can fail, so reliability can be an issue.
Hey Dan… the EV’s plug ins? No one is talking about how much EMF ANYONE is getting while in said vehicle.. it’s as if the person is inside a microwave while it’s on! 😢why are we not putting 2&2 together for Elon making his brain chip?
Dan ,how much is your time worth ? People need to calculate how many hours they sit at charging stations and add up all the time and electricity they buy , and I'm sure they will be surprised how much time they spend at charging stations
Yeah that was before they ditched the V6 and put then unreliable turbo 4 bangers in them, right? I recently saw that Toyota (like Stellantis) is realizing the mistake they made by replacing their naturally aspirated engine for smaller displacement turbo engines and considering going back to the V8s in the Tundra. Hopefully they will bring back the NA V6 in the Tacoma as well.
Dan, they left their cars in the middle of the road because they were pinned there by all the cars that would not move on the ice. You can't stay there and freeze in your car all night. No choice.
Electric cars are heavier and tear up the roads. They also don’t contribute to the highway funds through the gas tax collection. The model isn’t perfect but the roads need to be kept safe and maintained.

@eighteenin78 It is "a happy place to live" if you want to work for a living, not have a victim mentality and a need to suck off the government tit, be more self sufficient, enjoy paying less taxes (for all those 'victim mentality' and lazy people services) with the EXCEPTION of high property taxes, and enjoy the small town/community life and nature. That's not to say there isn't welfare, snap, etc. benefits here in NH, there are, but you'll get less than if you lived in, say VT, because if you work for living in VT, your tax burden is much higher so that they can accommodate all those extra services.
Keep track of returns too. Sometimes they process a “return “. But the money doesn’t go back into your account. You have to keep track of what’s coming out of your checking account.

So people crossed into Vermont from New Hampshire? I thought NH was a happy place to live. Surprised.
The funny part of that is the people who live in NH got there by fleeing Taxachussets.
I am searching for someone who wants to stick it to Elon by selling me their used Tesla at a rock bottom price.
FORD. Old man is rolling in his grave.
Vermont??? huh? They all moved to Colorado?
Vermont is very expensive!
Keep track of returns too. Sometimes they process a “return “. But the money doesn’t go back into your account. You have to keep track of what’s coming out of your checking account.
As much as the Palisades was a beautiful, prime, location in the LA area, if my place was burned down there, I’d sell the lot and cash out my insurance for as much as possible then relocate. Heck, don’t get what you think it’s worth? Go to East Tennessee or Texas and build a beautiful, large, gorgeous home, with cash, and invest the difference. And you will be able to do it.
Your right, you never know what the future has for you, I lost my home 2 months ago! And has taken
Me to a very dark place.
Will pray for yo
