All four grandchildren in and running around my house this morning. No school for the three school age ones today☹️. Retirement not exactly what I envisaged 15 years ago🙄. Watched it during a wee break for coffee and a McGhee's roll and square slice (ok with added fried egg😃). No envy whatsoever🤥. Great stuff 👍.
Thanks Charlie! This was an amazing walk! I say this about them all but this was so good and when the weather broke......well it was so good...loving this wee Munro journey. Cheers Paul
Thanks Ivor! That's really appreciated! It's a stunning walk and one which I will remember for a while. Thanks for watching and thanks again for the comments. Paul
Two years ago but just found you. Well done, you made light of it but that is a big day out. The fitness levels must be good. Thanks for a super video.
Wow, you guys actually have a few trees on some hills there! Didn't think I'd see that. Watch out for that wet grass Paul! Things got a bit serious on this one, breaking out the cool and wet weather gear. Views are great, but the dramatic lifting of the cloud curtain can really make you appreciate them. It was cool seeing to climb up to those cliffs. Bet it was stunning looking over them in person. Fantastic walk Paul. We were just thinking how little those views have probably changed in the last thousand years or 2.... Wonder if people were climbing those mountains for fun in 1021... cool to think about.
Thanks JR! I slip all the time but never on camera! This is another stunning area and nobody about so it feels rugged and remote. A real gem. The thought of people roaming these hills in past times is cool! all those tartan clad highlanders with their claymores and plaids....cheers again guys. Paul.
Great effort, i done that route and an overnight summit camp about a year ago and I was shattered. Was great to see it again, thanks for sharing. Fantastic film :)
Thanjs so much! It's quite a walk and I thought about doing Stob Ban too! What amazing scenery and I would have liked to have had an overnight camp on this walk. I bet it was fantastic! Thanks again. Paul
Champion video Paul👍🏻 I done the grey corries around this time in 2019, had one of the best sunrises I’ve seen in Scotland, great to bring back some memories! Cheers mate, Mark.
Thanks Gordon. I thoroughly enjoyed this walk. More scenic than I thought it was going to be! Thise rock faces and pinnacles where amazing. Looking forward to the snow this year! Cheers again. Paul
Guid video Paul. Goat yur handsome face up oan the big telly 😉 Looked a good enough day. Beats the clag like. Me and Robin were actually gonnae dae these this weekend. Forecast is gash tho. Prob do a wee overnight in the Cheviot Hills.
The big face oan the big telly! At last I have arrived! Yeah the weather is looking dodgy, we are heading up to glen etive I think? Winter gear is coming oot...cheers kev! Paul
Class vid Paul, know how you feel with slip, remember when my mate asked how my new boots were coming down a climb, as I was saying they were great I went on my arse.🤣🤣, Did these at beginning of sept and got my 1st ever inversion, vid coming out soon. Look forward to your next adventure.🏔🏴👍
Thanks Frank! The timing was impeccable! This is a great walk eh! Heading back up next week to capture Stob Ban which looks amazing too! Seen you've just put up a new Skye film! Haven't done any of these hills yet . Will have a watch on Sunday. Off to bed for an early start. Cheers again. Paul
Good stuff Paul, your fairly knocking the munros off mate ..That was one of my best trips ive done . Myself and Robin done the Lochaber traverse taking in the 8 munros starting at Stob Ban and finishing Ben Nevis over two days. We camped at the last top of the grey Corries ..Great video mate , enjoyed it again ..cheers Stevie
Hi Paul, not another wee walk, love it. I'm gonna have to fire some questions at ya sometime, I'd love to know a bit more about your lifestyle if that's OK?
Thanks Alan! this is a fantastic walk and you will absolutely love it! Stop Ban should be easily tacked on and its another cracking wee hill. I did it separately in one of the wettest days I have ever been out. Called the wee video rain! lol. The weather is looking ok for this weekend? a wee bit overcast with light winds! no midges to worry about! let me know how you get on!!! cheers and thanks again. Paul.
@@PAADVENTURES1 definitely, I'd buy a t-shirt or hat. I can see a t-shirt with the elevation graph you use at the start of the video with the words "oot for a wee walk" next to it.
