Their biggest fan base are 20- 40, not iust teenagers. I'm 67, and love the snot out of them. I've lived through the Beatles, MJ, and everyone after, and BTS just hits different for me.
you all prolly dont care at all but does someone know a way to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my account password. I love any tips you can offer me.
They ain't typical boyband. You will figure out as more u check them out ! I am 37 and am armie ( bts fandome name ) like 3 years now , never been stucked on any artist before bts and with every year I love them more and more ! They greatest artists humble ppl came from poor background and even being on the top still remain humble ! Bts fandome got 23% teenage and 77% from 20 till 76 . This group got most powerful fandome in the world and we are not teenagers! Teenager won't be able to fill up stadions with 90.000 sits 2 times when ticket cost 150 $-1000$ , won't be able to support bts albume sells like MOT7 sold 4million copies in first week and much more! They are on the top record breaking top on sells top on charts worldwide . Their mv getting billion views. Top of the top ! Teen fans would not be able to support artists that much to bring them on the top worldwide!
Your wrong bts song is not a love song and they dont just target teen I'm 49 yrs old and I love their music it's always about loving yourself not try to say anything bad to you and hope you listen to more bts to understand them ! Have a Happy Easter !
This song is actually part of the OST for a Japanese movie called "Signal". BTS rarely talks about romantic love, if they talk about love at all it is usually familial love, self-love, or friendship. This particular song is a part of their ongoing storyline called the "Bangtan Universe" or the BU. This is a super extensive storyline that consists of over 25 directly connected MVs since 2015, 2 books, 9 short films, a 15 chapter WEBTOON Comic, a mobile game, and they are even making a TV drama called "Youth" based on it. The storyline is about seven boys forgotten by the world who come together and create a friendship that defies reality. Kim Seok-Jin is a boy that comes from a rich family and is forced to be a puppet for the adults in his life, especially his dad, but all he wants to his own life. Kim Nam-Joon is a boy who is very poor and has to work multiple jobs to pay for his dying father's medical bill, he is so poor he even lives in a storage container. Min Yoon-Gi is a boy who feels the world is against him and has severe depression. He was traumatized by an event in his past that resulted in his mother's death. Jung Ho-Seok was abandoned by his mother when he was very young and grew up at an orphanage and developed Narcaleposy, which jeopardizes his dream of becoming a professional dancer. Park Ji-Min went through an unimaginable trauma at a very young age that caused him to develop Epilepsy. His mother was embarrassed by him and hit him away in a hospital instead of getting him the help he really needed. Kim Tae-Hyung grew up in an abusive household and has to fight for his and his sister's life every day. Finally, we have Jeon Jung-Kook who's family doesn't love or care about him and he is treated horribly. These boys become each other's family until tragedy strikes and they are torn apart. In order to save his friends, Seok-Jin gains the ability to time travel and has to go back in time over and over until he can save all of the boys and they can be together and happy again. In this MV, if you notice that Jin is separated from the other boys and watching them through a window, but if you look closely there is another him sitting with the boys, he is looking back at a past timeline where he failed to save the others. Jin restarts an hourglass at 7:42 and then Jungkook looks at an empty hourglass at 7:43 basically saying their time is up and Jin is creating another timeline. The boys fade away as the sand in the hourglass reverses, turning back time, 8:46. He tries over and over to save them but he just keeps failing and they just slip through his fingers, "You, in my imagination, are so vivid but as I reach out my hand you suddenly disappear." is a lyric from the song that kind of explains this. The room Jin is in explodes as he tries to run away. He is running away from his fate because watching his friends suffer and die over and over is too painful but he can't run because the farther he runs the more he loses his connection with the boys because of this, he always finds his way back. All of the doors represent all of the failed timelines that Jin created to try to save his friends. This is a super intense storyline so if you are sensitive to mentions and visual representations of su*c*de, self h*rm, mental illness, child ab*se, m*rder, etc. I would not recommend watching or getting into the storyline, but it so well made and beautifully written. They write, compose, and produce almost all of their own music. This song was written by Jungkook, who is the youngest member. He joined the band at 13, debuted at 15, and now he is 23.
I swear i’m not trying to be rude but even as a hardcore Army i have to laugh at the amount of info you are throwing at a person watching BTS for the first time. It can get overwhelming and may actually drive them away because they stop reading (even if they drop a like on your comment). It may be better to say the group is diverse in their music and it consists of 3 rappers/4 vocalists. Their fans are mostly over 20. This is not a love song but part of a storyline that’s been running through their videos since 2015. Then drop some suggestions for other bts videos to react to. Believe me I know what it’s like to want everyone to love their music but sometimes a little background info is enough. Let their music speak for itself.
Little late to the party but 49 year old Army here for 3 Years now. Nothing like BTS~! They are so much more then your typical boy band! Thanks for the reaction.
Their Japanese songs tend to be slower and more melodic so this song doesn't showcase what the 3 rappers can do. I'm 41 and can easily say their fanbase isn't for "teenage girls" due to the lyrics they sing about because their music comes from their own life experiences. Other boygroups can sing about young love but BTS instead sing about the importance of self love/self worth/self respect and the lifelong goal of knowing who you are while being okay with who that person is. Change for yourself because YOU want to and not to allow anyone to decide what life you'll be living. This song itself isn't an example of their musical style because they were a hip-hop group at first with their rap line being some of the best in the underground scene. Each album they'll surprise us with new sounds or a new take on an old style (Dis-ease) and will blend styles to create something that is unique to BTS.
I’m a 20 year old guy and I love their music. They definitely have fans that are teenage girls but that’s not the WHOLE fandom. I feel like since they incorporate a lot of rap and unique singing styles they branch out to a wider demographic
I´m 56 y, and BTS ARMY over two years. BTS music is many styles and many ways to all people , Whom loves good music. Please, reacting more BTS. And be safe, I purple You💜
BTS music does not just target teenage girls (I'm 33). They make music that touches on subject matter that people of all ages, races, nationalities, and genders can relate to. They have songs that discuss mental health, self love, loss, societal expectations/injustices, economic inequalites, and so much more. And their music covers so many genres hiphop, rnb, pop, edm, neo-soul, jazz, and latin. BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan in korean which translates to bulletproof boy scouts in english. They have set and broken so many records set by Michael Jackson, the Beatles, and Adele. Their first fully english song called Dynamite broke the record of the most viewed video on youtube in 24 hours with 101.1 million views and became BTS 1st of 3 number 1 songs on the billboard hot 100. They were also nominated for a grammy this year and have achieved 5 number 1 albums in the US in less than 3 years. Film Out is actually japanese, not korean. BTS started formation in 2010 and officially debuted in 2013 with 7 members (3 rappers and 4 vocalists). Their names are Jin age 28 vocalist, Suga age 28 rapper, J-Hope age 27 rapper, RM age 26 rapper and group leader, Jimin age 25 vocalist, V age 25 vocalist, and Jungkook age 23 vocalist. Thanks for reacting and hope to see more reactions to BTS.
im 37 yrs old. im a big fan of bts because i love the way they write their songs. yes they almost produce all of their songs especially the 3rappers. bts doesnt write typical love songs.. the messages of their songs have deeper meaning.some of their songs they wrote are for their fans, not for a certain girl. bts songs covers different genre. please react to MIC DROP, BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS, ON:KINETIC MANIFESTO FILM, BLACK SWAN, FAKE LOVE, DYNAMITE.. They also have incredible ballads like YOUR EYES TELL, WE ARE BULLETPROOF THE ETERNAL, CRYSTAL SNOW, BUTTERFLY and LIGHTS.. These are just few of their masterpieces. they have 200+ songs..
Great job in the car! As others have said, BTS (Bangtan Soyendan - Bulletproof Boyscouts) are far from a typical boyband. Their reach is across generations and nationalities and their music crosses genres. Check out Mic Drop (hip hop), On: Kinetic Manifesto (unique choreography), Black Swan (total artistry), and Dynamite (disco/party/club vibe). And not one of those songs is about love! :)
Hurt me badly everytime people talk about BTS as 'teens idols' or 'boyband'... BTS offers music and artists for healing. And hell yeah we don't have much of it in USA.
52 y-o here, and I discovered them 1 1/2 years ago and haven't looked back. The largest part of their fan base comes from their healing messages in their music and the fact that they are unbelievably humble and down to earth, considering their meteoric superstardom...(You saying that their fans are probably all teenage girls because of the way they look) While I admit all 7 of them are absolutely beautiful to look at, their insides actually outshine their exterior. They have, almost, as many male fans as they do female. One last note....there is almost NO genre when it comes to BTS. They have songs that are hip-hop, r&B, edm, trap, ballads...about the only thng I haven't heard them sing is country, lol, so if someone doesn't like one song, it's a pretty safe bet that the boys will have another one that is better suited.
I believe and always do that their "Target of audiences" are not just simply girls/ boys or whatever age. It's people who were/are seeking for comfort, seeking for hope, or just people that they could relate to. That's the reason why BTS made their music; to inspire others, to reach out to people of whatever age or gender, or race you are, they couldn't care less about none of that. This is the reason why ARMY (BTS's fandom name) would say, "They are not you typical boyband." Seriously, they're not. I love them for teaching me how to love myself through their musics and basically, their daily laughter could make my day better. So, that's that.
I’m 44 and most of their fans are over 20. 🤣They do every genre and rarely are actually talking about love. But those are common misconceptions because they r a boy band. There are 3 rappers in this group, 2 that were part of the underground scene before BTS. They are phenomenal dancers as well. Thanks for giving them a chance, hope you check out something else. Mic drop, black Swan, outro-tear & fake love are all very different and are amazing. 💜 This song is actually Japanese. Although most of their music is in Korean with some English, they do have separate albums in Japanese.
I’m 32 and they are my fav cause they talk about mental health, social criticism, psychology and so on. I will recommend you Mic drop for more hype and rap style. They are 4 singers and 4 rappers, so there are a lot of versatility. And the audience target is for everybody, you can check they have fans around 25 to 40 mostly, men and women. Their lyrics are very complex for all “teens or kids “ to understand yet, but yeah mostly ppl compare them to USA boybands who were linked just to teenagers. Bts doesn’t have an age, race, culture or language barrier :) .....
Standing on the outside looking in of course all you see is good looking men and girls screaming. BTS and ARMY is life changing its just something you need to educate yourself on to truly know what you're missing. I'm 45. I love and protect BTS like family. Get to know them and their music you wont regret it!
36 year old mom of three here..and a proud BTS fan. I introduced my kids to BTS and only 1 likes them. BTS fans are of all age ranges kids to great grandparents 🙂💜...The message they deliver in their music is not like others. BTS speaks on social, economic issues, self love, bullying, empowerment and more. I am sure you will like them
the biggest part of their audience are people in their 30's, for their most recent concert tour ticket sales (that was unfortunately canceled bc of the pandemic) females age 25 and up made 49% of web traffic and 31% were males that leaves only 20% for females age section under 25 years old. the reason for the audience being so versatile is their messege, bts talk in their songs about topics that most artists are afraid of such as mental health, youth and female empowerment, self love and development and social-economic injustices, also a lot of their works are inspired by past writers and thinkers. the song is not a love song, it's about losing someone dear to you, but the memories are so vivid you feel like the person is still with you (not necessarily a lover but the interpretation is free). most of their Japanese songs are much slower and melancholic it seems to be very popular sound in Japan and this one is an ending theme for Japanese movie "Signal".
Juat because One Direction's songs are all love songs, doesn't mean that BTS does the same. BTS can't be compared to any artist past or present. They are just BTS. They don't target young girls. They wouldn't be the most commercially successful act at present if they are only supported by young girls. Hell the record company that was built using their money (they are now shareholders too) just bought over Ithaca Holdings, the label representing Justin Bieber, Ariana, jbalvin & the rest. BTS is powered by the monied set, working adults with disposal income. Doesn't need to be very smart to suss this out.
btw bts stands for "bangtan sonyeondan" Korean for "bulletproof boy scouts" and "bangtan" means to be resistant to bullets, so it means to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim on adolescents like bullets, to preserve the values and ideal of today’s adolescents also in 2017 they rebranded their name and logo extending the meaning to "beyond the scenes" and the new door inspired logo symbolizes youth who don't settle for injustice and move forward to achieve growth
They can dance , sing , rap , produce , write or compose most of their songs ☺ and the VISUALS , talents , personality and many many more .. We love them not only because of their visuals or talent , we LOVE THEM BECAUSE MOST OF THE MESSAGE OF THEIR SONG ARE VERY VERY DEEP . THEIR SONGS IS OUR HEALING. BTS SONGS IS OUR COMFORT 💜
It's not a love song, it's an OST for a Japanese film "Signal' about detectives solving crimes together, but they live in different times (one in past, one in present, if I'm correct). It's also a theory that this music video is a part of BTS Universe, where there is a lot of time travel, but it has nothing to do with romantic relationships. Of course there is nothing wrong interpreting BTS songs to Yourself however they fit, they usually leave a lot of space for interpretation (like art in general is), but ARMY knows best what meaning they themselves intended in each song. It was already mentioned, but their targeted fan base is not teenage girls... The products that they promote are expensive things like cars and massage chairs, that only adults could buy, also their songs are never cheesy love songs. Their topics are usually mental health, personal growth, overcoming life challenges, loss, important topics like bullying, education system, even some political remarks. While their fan base is very wide including young people, their music and message applies to everyone.
This song is in Japanese. It's for the soundtrack of a Japanese movie coming out called Signal, that is about a present day detective that can communicate with a detective from the past through a radio and they help each other solve crimes. BTS stand for Bangtan Sonyeondan, which means "Bulletproof Boy Scouts" in Korean. A few years back, they also extended the meaning to Beyond the Scene. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. They have well over 200 tracks and in almost every genre.
Thanks for giving the guys a listen...Nope their audience is not teenage girls- sorry that just triggers the 20-40 year olds and I'm 60. They are more than a boyband, do not confuse this Japanese song OTS with the rest of their discography. If you like rap (I do) Interlude Shadow by band member Suga or The Last or Mic Drop or Baepsae. I also like Cypher 2. Black Swan and ON from a recent album are my favourites. BTS Bangtan Soyandan "Bulletproof boy scouts" or Beyond the Scene protecting people from the prejudices and criticisms thrown at them by society.
check out black swan MV by them it's so good, they wrote about the fear of losing their artistry or like their love for making music and called that the first death. it's inspired by the iconic dancer martha graham's quote " a dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful.” it's so good you'll like it
BTS - I hope I spell it correctly - Bangtan Sonyeondan. BTS = BangTan Sonyeondan. I forgot what it means in English, but I know there’s a translation for it somewhere on UA-cam.
You should show your brother BTS' "On Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima" (be sure to search this exact title, because they have a different video to this same song).💜💜💜
JungKook who is the first and third person who sung, is the background vocalist (he did most of them). He co-wrote this with a Japanese-Back Number for Japanese movie Signal.
I suggest starting from the beginning, meaning No more dream and We are bulletproof. Great to start with and shows how BTS has grown. These are some of the best songs for me. Apart from these songs, I recommend Blood sweat and tears, Black Swan, On, Idol, Anpanman, Danger ... and many many more😉
This song has layers like an onion XD, on the surface it's about losing someone close to your heart but having their memories vivid in your mind. Then it connects to bts' fictional universe were the members ( who are best friends) lose one another through various tragedies that happen again and again. Finally this song is written for a Japanese version of a korean series on solving cold cases where the detective from the present is abled to solve cases that have gone cold with the help of a detective from the past through a wakie talkie. The song ties well with all the three meanings and BTS always does double or triple entendre. I hope you find this helpful ✨
BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan. It means Bulletproof Boy Scouts in english. And a few years ago they adopted a new meaning to the name as well, so they also go by Beyond the Scene. The group has 3 rappers and 4 singers Rm: leader, main rapper. 5:00 Jin: vocalist, visual, oldest. 6:35 Suga: lead rapper. 7:51 Jhope: main dancer, lead rapper. 8:25 Jimin: main dancer, lead vocalist. 3:00 V: lead dancer, vocalist. 4:00 Jungkook: main vocalist, lead dancer, center, youngest. 3:37 Main is above lead and lead is above regular.
I’m 40.. you haven’t heard their other songs..Please react to BTS Tear (Live) as they are best LIve.. also to Fake Love, Cypher 1-4, House of Cards, ON..
well, i'm 35 years old and guess what my taste in music is rock alternative and never stanning boyband after junior high school but BTS is the exception because they are that special....they're composer, producers, lyricyst, even release mixtapes...they're debut with hiphop but the music is evolving until now...you can check their hiphop tracks : ugh, outro : tear, hip hop lover, mic drop, disease, etc...
BTS rarely sings about a girl.. this song is about losing someone (from death or separation).. When you think they are singing to a girl it's actually about their Fans (ARMY), themselves, each other, friends, family, etc. BTS is the BIGGEST boy group in the world and they write and produce their own music. They always write about mental health and social issues like bullying, child abuse, depression, anxiety, social pressures, loving yourself, etc.. BTS stands for Bangtan Boys or Bulletproof Boyscouts, being bulletproof is to block out stereotypes and discriminations that society throws at you and hence their fandom name is ARMY. BTS later rebranded their meaning to "Beyond the Scenes" as to youth who doesn't settle and keep striving to reach further. Please check out "BTS ON Kinectic Manifesto FIlm: Come Prima" and "Black Swan MV"
I would slightly disagree with the first sentence. They do have plenty of songs about romantic relationships, much of their first three albums are centered around romantic relationship. However, in their last couple albums, it has been a lot about self and self-worth, making songs more towards speaking about fame, their fans, and self love. However, even when they wrote a lot of songs about romantic relationships, they have always still mixed that with songs about social issues, friendships, mental health, etc. So I agree with most of what you are saying, but the idea that they don’t write about romantic relationships is a bit of a stretch.
They do a lot of rap. You can check Outro: Tear, Ddang, Baepsae. Also rappers have their solo songs. I recommend by RM - Joke, Do you, Rain, by August D - August D, Daechwita, by J-Hope - Airplaine, Daydream, Ego.
I am sorry if Army is rough... Its just we love BTS so much. BTS have been through so much... Army is very protected. I am a 47 year old BTS fan and my spiritual mother is 80 and a huge BTS fan... Hahaha I guess you know by know that ARMY are not all teenagers. I do love your reaction. Like Jimin says, the one with the voice you like: You nice, keep going! Warm love from the Netherlands Audrey / Mama Mochi
BTS started out as a hip hop group, and 2 of the 3 rappers were underground rappers, the other street dancer. I happen to be 43, so def not a teenage girl. BTS has so many genres, and many many socially aware messages, but rarely sings "love songs". They focus more on loving yourself, living the fans, among other social issues.
The vocalist you liked the most is Jimin. He has some amazing solo songs - Lie, Serendipity, Filter. There is also a good song of vocal line (4 of members) - truth Untold. Bts is great live, so you want to check their live performances for these or other songs
Film out is not technically a love song, although it can be interpreted that way, however it is about the feeling of missing someone that's already gone. "You, in my imagination is so vivid but when I reach out my hand you disappear" it's about a person who is trying to move on but still recalls the memories of that special someone. Like a film that is ending, that's why it's "film out" Fun fact: This is an OST for a movie and the story relates to the song. The music video also ties to their ongoing universe, the BTS universe that's why it's kind of mysterious. BTS mostly covers a variety of genre so expect that with every song you will hear from them it will be different each time. I personally like their lyrics so make sure to read them since it's really relatable (for example, their b-side song "Paradise" is about telling people that it's ok to not have grand dreams, that if you're too tired you can stop since life isn't a race, it's a marathon with the goal to finish and not win. Their lyrics really comforts people) To start though, I will recommend their title songs that are most popular: Blood Sweat and Tears Fake love Idol DNA Boy With Luv Mic drop Life goes on Dynamite
ON is one of the most recently songs that is great. Also Fake Love will forever be my song and Mic Drop is one of the most popular songs people react to. There’s 3 rappers and 4 vocalist.
This song is in Japanese. If you really want to listen to some more from Bts try, Mic Drop, Magic Shop, Black Swan(my fav), Run, On, Ddaeng(rapline), Dimple(vocal line) and check out xCeleste This is BTS and the BU storyline summary. This MV ties together with the BU storyline(a fictional universe created by Bighit(HYBE) about time travel)
Thank you for your reaction, BTS is more than a "boy band" they through their music have helped millions of children, youth, and adults, they have literally saved lives with the lyrics of their songs (I am one of those people) their humility, hard work to achieve their dreams, the message of self-love and acceptance, that we are all important, that we have a light that can illuminate the lives of other people is to admire and the example they give to the youngest is incredible, BTS is the best thing that has happened to me. I hope you can react to Love Myself, Epiphany, Mikrokosmos, and Zero Oclock, and other amazing songs like Mic Drope, Dope, Fire, Run, the Cyphers series, well theres a lot of good music. And by the way I'm 41 years old and I know Armys of 60's and 70's years old 😊😊
Actually, the song you chose is their recent Japanese single which is also connected to the BTS storyline. It's not a love song 😅The group consists of 3 rappers RM, Suga, J-hope (all are fire and their flow is butter💫) & 4 Vocalists Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, V (all are amazing with different vocal range and voices💫) please check out "This is BTS: Introduction" by Xceleste and here are some recommendations for you to react:- MIC DROP Idol Fake love
BTS is south korean boyband with 7 members, 4 Vocalist amd 3 rappers, and they can all dance. This song is a OST or THEME SONG for an upcoming Japanese movie called SIGNAL. They dont usually sing about love, cuz ost of their lyrics Are touches subject like DEPRESSION and ANXIETY, BULLYING, SOCIAL PHENOMENON, LOVING YOURSELF, ACCEPTING YOUR SELF, WOMEN EMPOWERING and a lot more. They rarely sing abt love
I’m 42. You’ll find out that there are so many people in their 40s, 50s, and 60s that love BTS and are part of the ARMY fanbase (I love to read their comments 💜)
Great reaction, if u like to check more of bts check Mic drop Fake love On kinetic manifesto Not today Fire Dope Rap line songs (3 rappers 2 of them were from Korean underground hiphop scene before joining bts ) Ddaeng Ugh Cypher pt 1-4 Outro tear Daechwita Joke Agust d R&b vibe Singularity Black swan These are few of their songs as u can see this group do every genre of music ! Check these songs and for more Armies (bts fandome ) will guide u ! Also this mv bound on BU bts universe storyline witch goes on bts music videos . Mv might confuse you cuz its from storyline! Song is OST for Japanese TV show as movie Soundtrack! Ty for reaction!
Thanks for your review😉💜.Jk, the youngest member of the group wrote this. It was supposed to be a song on his personal record. However, it was chosen for a Japanese movie theme song. The Japanese movie is kind of like "Signal" here in America.💜 As far as the age I am 42 and was introduced to BTS by my 28yr daughter 💜 we have both been ARMY for 5 and a half years 💜 but we see ARMY comments all the time of all ages from 8yrs to 80yrs. ARMY = 💜Adorable 💜Representatives 💜M.c for 💜Youth
Please react to A Beautiful Life Goes On: The Story Of BTS. It is a great introduction of who BTS is. They really are Amazing! Thank you for reacting to them. 50 year old ARMY since 2016 here. BTS - Bulletproof Boy Scouts & Beyond The Scene. They do it all. Hope you had a Blessed Easter with your family!
I loved your first reactions. It will help a lot if you react to some introductions to get to know them better, I recommend “who is bts” by xcelese and “who is bts, the seven members of bangtan” by xcelest. Hope you can keep going dipper into this journey, STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY!
Well I know why you still didn't know about BTS music style cuz this is your first time don't worry and I respect that 💜 This song is for Japanese movie call Signal and they singing in Japanese language And the mv is about one person can travel time to save his friends who suffering from different problem like some of them committee suicide and some of them get prisoner for different problem, actually this story line begin since their debut 2013 Well I'm army since 2015 and now I'm 25yo and I'm not gonna lie bts fan is not just teen age girl but my whole family also their fan too Yeah at first they just don't care but after know more about them they already find the reason why we are so loyal to them who is speak in different language Hope you can react to BTS more and I hope you are not misunderstood again about bts music next time sir Still thankyou for the reaction 💜
Try bts mic drop. It’s different from this and is directed towards haters. This is their Japanese release so it is more slower. Mic drop shows their rap more.
I haven't finished watching yet but I have to jump in here. Okay. The United States original boy bands were back in the 30s and 40s. And then in the 60s and 70s, R&B and Motown times, you had boy bands then too. Come on, The Temptations and The Four Tops? They could sing and they could dance. The kinds of productions BTS is doing now were impossible to do then. But if you took those guys forward 40 or 50 years, you would have somebody like BTS who is American now. About the stereotyping of the song as a love song that targets young women, there are two good explanation videos which will erase that thought. One is from xCeleste, the other is from Bookish Theories. I like the Bookish Theories one best. I grew up in the 60s. I'm not a young woman. But the very first video I saw of theirs hooked me. The qualities that keep people being BTS fans are their kindness, their sense of humor, their musicality, their artistry, their depth, and their creativity. They all write songs. Most of them have done some production. Two of them have studied martial arts to a high degree. They started out as a hip-hop group, not a boy band. Their early work is raw and hard. There are four vocalists and three rappers. But all the vocalists can rap a bit, and all the rappers can sing a bit. They can all dance. All of them had to learn some of what they're doing after they joined the group. Nobody came in as a master. They are famous for being hard-working and kind. They dip into a lot of different genres. A lot of their songs are actually genre mashups. This is one of the reasons they haven't gotten stale on me musically. Their BangtanTV channel has a lot of candid and semi candid footage, where you can see their personalities and how they work together. I like your honesty. I also like the way you intersperse your pauses with real commentary, and how observant you are. You have great reaction flow. 👍🏽🌿💜🌿👍🏽
I’m 66 so I’m not a young girl. Don’t assume that about their fans, called ARMY. This is a song for a Japanese movie and they’re singing in Japanese. I hope you react to more BTS. They’re so good. Listen to concert version of “Magic Shop” and maybe an early song like “We Are Bulletproof, pt. 2” (they were super young then-2013), “Airplane, pt 2” and “Idol” or “Fire.”
51 years old and when I BTS saved me I mean they literally saved me. Get that typical boy band stereotype out of your head. BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) started out as a hip hop group. Their music and style has evolved since their debut in 2013. BTS huge discography covers almost every genre. When you listen to a BTS song you have to go beyond the surface, 90% of the time what you think is a simple love song is not. Film Out is not a love song, it's a song about loss. I recommend you watch On: Kinetic Manifesto Black Swan Life Goes On We Are Bulletproof: pt 2 Dynamite Dope Save Me There's a lot more I would like to recommend but they don't have official music videos for them.
I would love to see you react to more of their music. Definitely react next to “On” Kinetic Manifesto. Also, but was built on hip hop and rap. They didnt write love songs and none of their songs are about girls. Well, maybe like 1or 2 in their earlier years, but all their music is based on life experiences and close relationships like friends/ family, but not girls. Another this is that only 20% of the fandom are teens and under. The remaining 80% is 20-60+ years old. The biggest age group i believe is 20-40. So no, bts doesnt target teen girls. Especially sing 40% of the fandom are males.
Love your respectful reaction. Suprisingly they have the most diverse fan base I have ever seen. I am 44 and a huge fan. I also see you react to a lot of Tom Macdonald, which I am also a fan of!
This is a mellow song (sung in Japanese for a film soundtrack). To get an idea of how diverse they are please react to other BTS music videos. Suggestions: On: kinetic manifesto Mic Drop black swan Please keep your reactions honest. Nothing worse than UA-cam “overreactors”...they jump up and down 2 seconds into a video and act like they love it to gain subscribers from a huge fandom.
Yeah as you can see from your comment section you were incorrect about the age demographic, don't worry I many have that misconception. I would say BTS are for any age, in fact their just for anyone in general. They truly are very different from most music artist out their if you look into to them more you'll see that. They have music of all kinds of genres, I would recommend you listen to Mic drop, black swan, ON, fake love and dynamite next so you can see the differences.
Not a love song, it’s for a Japanese movie about time travel called Signal. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocals , Nope there fans are not teenage girls many are in there 40s and older as I am.
Their biggest fan base are 20- 40, not iust teenagers. I'm 67, and love the snot out of them. I've lived through the Beatles, MJ, and everyone after, and BTS just hits different for me.
i pray that i can reach that age just like you. Lets all pray always healthy , happy, and many blessings for our life. Love you beautiful Linda
Love it.
65 in May! #army
I’m 66 so I’m with you. 💜
you all prolly dont care at all but does someone know a way to get back into an instagram account..?
My g
Also their main audience is 20-40. They aren't your typical boyband. They are much more than just a boy band
Yup they have a very diverse fandom as well. People from all over the world
yes i agree teenagers.. im 39 years old and still feel teenagers spirit .. i love it hehehee..
I was a teenager, though... Like 40 years ago.
I forgot they were a "boy band" like 2 days after I got into their music and heard the hip hop, lol. Old schoolers are living
Yeah, I'm a 70 yo teenager 😂
But why did you spoil it 😭😭
Little late to the party but 49 year old Army here for 3 Years now.
37 yrs old but i love BTS.
I’m a 20 year old guy and I love their music. They definitely have fans that are teenage girls but that’s not the WHOLE fandom. I feel like since they incorporate a lot of rap and unique singing styles they branch out to a wider demographic
Thankyou army.. People like you are the reason why our fandom is so diverse. ❤️
The fact that your pfp is Park Jimin and your nick is Park Mochilala makes me luv u mo, fam!
There audience isn’t teenage girls and isn’t a love song it’s about losing someone. Most of their audience is 20s and 30s
There are 3 rappers in this group, 2 that were part of the underground scene before
BTS. They are phenomenal dancers as well. Thanks for giving them a chance, hope you check out something else.
Mic drop, black Swan, outro-tear & fake love are all very different and are amazing. 💜
This song is actually Japanese.
Oh the 7 of them all are producers songwriter so talented.... etc just 🤩too special they definitely not a typical boy band
45 yr old ARMY here checking in! BTS has music for everybody and hope you get a chance to check out more of their work!
49 yo Army here. It’s almost never about a girl. This song is about losing someone.
btw bts stands for "bangtan sonyeondan" Korean for "bulletproof boy scouts" and "bangtan" means to be resistant to bullets, so it means to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim on adolescents like bullets, to preserve the values and ideal of today’s adolescents also in 2017 they rebranded their name and logo extending the meaning to "beyond the scenes" and the new door inspired logo symbolizes youth who don't settle for injustice and move forward to achieve growth
Check the Cypher medley live or the tiny desk concert or the mtv unplugged
BTS Bangtan Soyandan "Bulletproof boy scouts" or Beyond the Scene protecting people from the prejudices and criticisms thrown at them by society.
check out black swan MV by them it's so good, they wrote about the fear of losing their artistry or like their love for making music and called that the first death. it's inspired by the iconic dancer martha graham's quote " a dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful.” it's so good you'll like it
The age fandom I feel spans ALL ages. I’m a grown man and genuinely enjoy their music. 👍👍
You: Oh, they rap a little bit.
ARMY: 😮😮😮😮😮😮🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
If only he knew 😂
I'm Japanese. This song is OST for new Japanese movie. They are singing in japanese. Pronunciation is really great.
BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan. It means Bulletproof Boy Scouts in english. And a few years ago they adopted a new meaning to the name as well, so they also go by Beyond the Scene.
The group has 3 rappers and 4 singers
Rm: leader, main rapper. 5:00
Jin: vocalist, visual, oldest. 6:35
Suga: lead rapper. 7:51
Jhope: main dancer, lead rapper. 8:25
Jimin: main dancer, lead vocalist. 3:00
V: lead dancer, vocalist. 4:00
Jungkook: main vocalist, lead dancer, center, youngest. 3:37
Main is above lead and lead is above regular.
I’m 40.. you haven’t heard their other songs..Please react to BTS Tear (Live) as they are best LIve.. also to Fake Love, Cypher 1-4, House of Cards, ON..
well, i'm 35 years old and guess what my taste in music is rock alternative and never stanning boyband after junior high school but BTS is the exception because they are that special....they're composer, producers, lyricyst, even release mixtapes...they're debut with hiphop but the music is evolving until now...you can check their hiphop tracks : ugh, outro : tear, hip hop lover, mic drop, disease, etc...
Jimin the angelic voice very beautiful isn't it? And you know BTS is the bigest group in the WORLD 💪🤗
This song is all about a memeber of the group who time travels to save the others. I recommend searching up bts lore and reacting to it
BTS started out as a hip hop group, and 2 of the 3 rappers were underground rappers, the other street dancer.
Like a film that is ending, that's why it's "film out"
Fun fact:
This is an OST for a movie and the story relates to the song.
Their lyrics really comforts people)
To start though, I will recommend their title songs that are most popular:
Blood Sweat and Tears
Fake love
Idol
DNA
Boy With Luv
Mic drop
Life goes on
Dynamite
Welcome to the Army! This is just a sneak peak on what these men can do. They cover all Genres, hope you check their video out.
For the next song you can react to BTS Mic Drop, to see their versatility.
Here ya go ua-cam.com/video/sQhZ_xEcaoo/v-deo.html ! Reacted to it yesterday!
And by the way I'm 41 years old and I know Armys of 60's and 70's years old 😊😊
Try viewing MIC DROP with your brother. You’ll see another side of their repertoire. Huge discography.
React to BTS "Kinetic manifesto come prima"
I am 27 and I am a big fan of BTS
Actually, the song you chose is their recent Japanese single which is also connected to the BTS storyline. It's not a love song 😅The group consists of 3 rappers RM, Suga, J-hope (all are fire and their flow is butter💫) & 4 Vocalists Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, V (all are amazing with different vocal range and voices💫) please check out "This is BTS: Introduction" by Xceleste and here are some recommendations for you to react:- MIC DROP
Idol
Fake love

Ty for reaction!
Thanks for your review😉💜.Jk, the youngest member of the group wrote this. It was supposed to be a song on his personal record. However, it was chosen for a Japanese movie theme song. The Japanese movie is kind of like "Signal" here in America.💜
As far as the age I am 42 and was introduced to BTS by my 28yr daughter 💜 we have both been ARMY for 5 and a half years 💜 but we see ARMY comments all the time of all ages from 8yrs to 80yrs.

Well I know why you still didn't know about BTS music style cuz this is your first time don't worry and I respect that 💜
This song is for Japanese movie call Signal and they singing in Japanese language
And the mv is about one person can travel time to save his friends who suffering from different problem like some of them committee suicide and some of them get prisoner for different problem, actually this story line begin since their debut 2013
Well I'm army since 2015 and now I'm 25yo and I'm not gonna lie bts fan is not just teen age girl but my whole family also their fan too
Yeah at first they just don't care but after know more about them they already find the reason why we are so loyal to them who is speak in different language
Hope you can react to BTS more and I hope you are not misunderstood again about bts music next time sir
Still thankyou for the reaction 💜
Try bts mic drop. It’s different from this and is directed towards haters. This is their Japanese release so it is more slower. Mic drop shows their rap more.
6:33 Jin ! Loves his voice
bts is the # 1 group on the planet. they are not a typical western boy band, if you listen to other songs by bts you are going to be very surprised.
👍🏽🌿💜🌿👍🏽
BTS songs are about life.
2” (they were super young then-2013), “Airplane, pt 2” and “Idol” or “Fire.”
im 32 and fan of bts for over a year
Just look through the BTS playlist and you'll find alot of songs to react to. They debuted in 2013
51 years old and when I BTS saved me I mean they literally saved me.
I recommend you watch
On: Kinetic Manifesto
Black Swan
Life Goes On
We Are Bulletproof: pt 2
Dynamite
Dope
Save Me
There's a lot more I would like to recommend but they don't have official music videos for them.
Especially sing 40% of the fandom are males.
bts stands for bagtan sonyeondan that means bulletproof boys scout
Thank you for reacting to our boys 🤗🤗🤗💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
by the way... 27% of their fans are 40-60yrs old according to worldwide survey. they also have a lot of male fans. Like John Cena, Shawn Mendez.
Lol I liked how you added those artist 😂
... And Sugafoot (Michael Jackson's drummer through 30 years) and Paulo Coelho (writer who wrote the international bestseller "The Alchemist")
Jimin 😍😘🥰
Love your respectful reaction. Suprisingly they have the most diverse fan base I have ever seen. I am 44 and a huge fan. I also see you react to a lot of Tom Macdonald, which I am also a fan of!
This is a mellow song (sung in Japanese for a film soundtrack). To get an idea of how diverse they are please react to other BTS music videos. Suggestions:
On: kinetic manifesto
Mic Drop
black swan
Please keep your reactions honest. Nothing worse than UA-cam “overreactors”...they jump up and down 2 seconds into a video and act like they love it to gain subscribers from a huge fandom.
React to Kinetic Manifesto first, for next video
Please watch JIMIN'S FILTER.
You should react to BTS ON kinetic manifesto film
Yes of course
I'm 64 J-ARMY 🇯🇵 BTS grandma.
This video was actually a song for the movie film out

i am 45 yo, a mother of 3 daughters here
The fan base is called armyyyy
Can you please react to MIC DROP, different genre... You can also see how versatile they are
Yeah as you can see from your comment section you were incorrect about the age demographic, don't worry I many have that misconception.
There are 3 rappers and 4 vocals , Nope there fans are not teenage girls many are in there 40s and older as I am.
react to bts army with luv
