Another benefit you missed is that an eSim can't be removed from your device without your pin, so if your phone is stolen then theives can't remove your eSim from your phone and that makes it easier to track and find it.
Ohhh thanks for this ! I had actually never considered it. Of course they can de-link it but I don’t think your ordinary thief would expect you to have an eSim ! Nice 😉🙏🏾.
@@londingema3561 esim work the exact same way as your tradition sim, the only difference is that you insert it via a QR code and not the sim slot on the side of the phone… can do everything a normal sim would do
Hi i hope you are good, can please do a vid about SA banks that are exclusive such as investec discovery, and of banks like capitec and elaborate their product package and which bank should the middle class choose as its in middle of a crisis as FNB released a statement of consumption of middle class.
Hi Nokuhle . Hope you are well . Please can you may be explain. For an example : E sim from MTN is this much or from Vodacom is this much or Cell C. For now am lost to what are you referring to?
So I went to swap my data sim(one on the router)to an esim at telkom and I didn’t pay a cent it was free they just wanted my ID and bank statement…not sure how it works with other networks
Yes I also experienced this. So Ruth I know Telkom usually gives you one for free if you have an existing sim for your router or they charge R1. However I think some networks like Vodacom can charge more than R250 for an eSim. So maybe you can call the specific network you want and ask them (or you can tweet them😉).
most do but can confirm: iPhones & Samsung devices. you can check online type “does [enter your phone name and model] support eSim” then you’ll be able to check there🙏🏾. Hope this helps
I watched this video a year ago and now after buying the esim, I came across "esim capability phone" of which was not mentioned on this video, otherwise everything else was informational but it all beat the purpose of this video with out the full informaiton.
thanks for adding that for future viewers 👍🏾. I try my best to give a full review however certain things may be forgotten / I may have not considered that as both the phones I tested with worked. But thank you once again

I'm thinking of ordering my iphone 14 from the USA. Will Telekom Esim work on the iPhone 14?
Yes it most probably will 👍🏾
Hey, where exactly are you ordering it from if I may ask ?
I might be jumping the gun. But I’d like to know if it’s possible to use a physical card and esim in a phone that is not dual sim.
Hahaha yes yes that’s exactly what I have 😂! Hope the video helped.

No I don't need one. Trust me. eSIM is problematic.
East London Mtn consultants are clueless ngalomcimbi kangba ndiyincamile.nditsho kuzozonke eza shops bathi yenziwa online
Hmm maybe try Telkom and Vodacom, they are the only providers I have seen doing it quite consistently:
i just called Cell c their E-Sim is R199.99, at Cell c stores they need ID and proof of address
😅 now you know what I meant when I said some providers are charging ridiculous prices.
Gift are you referring to Cell C home connector?
Because that one is out phased
