    Love your video, thinking of seriously getting this bike now.

      @sebastianbolt7886 Thanks for your comments. I do miss it. It's light weight, looks good, and easy to learn on. Just wish it was a bit faster for the bigger roads. It did get quite a few looks and comments. Thanks for watching.

    The foot brake is a dual brake you can’t use back on only

      @lost-again  4 місяці тому +1

      @brysonpearman1343 Yeah, I am not sure why they do that on these bikes. Whilst I was learning, I had to remember not to become too reliant on just using the rear brake only.

    Would you recommend this for my first bike? Ive got my cbt next month and looking at this as an option

    • @lost-again
      @lost-again  Рік тому +4

      Yes, definitely. It's my first bike since passing my cbt. The good thing with it is you can get experience on the road and take it off road as well, which some other 125cc bikes might struggle with. Also, it looks cool, so you will get a lot of people asking about it.

    How is the maintenance and service??

    • @lost-again
      @lost-again  10 місяців тому +1

      Hi, maintenance is very simple, just regular checks of oil, water, air pressure, chain tension and lubrication, brake fluid levels front and back, tyre tread and lights etc. First service is 500 miles and then I think its about 4000 after that. Quite a simple service.

    Did you have any electrics problems?

    • @lost-again
      @lost-again  5 місяців тому

      Yes, just 1. The horn switch stopped working. It turned out to be damp, getting into the switch. A quick squirt with WD40 cured it. Seemed to be OK after that. Other than the horn switch, everything else worked fine.

    what is the top speed ? Thanks

    • @lost-again
      @lost-again  8 місяців тому +2

      Hi, thanks for your comments. I managed to get 64mph (102 kilometres per hour), but that was down a hill. Normally, with a headwind, it's about 60 maximum, and that's really reving it and pushing it a bit, though.

      @@lost-againgood to know, thinking of getting one on a few months. I’ve seen a little confusion on the horse power on this bike. Do you know if the newer model (2023) is actually 14.9 hp or 10. Unfortunately there’s not a tonne of coverage on this bike so I really appreciate you replying to my comment :) thanks dude

    • @lost-again
      @lost-again  8 місяців тому +2

      @curtisnewell253 yeah try and go for the latest model the one with the radiator. That does have more hp than the original model and is a bit faster. Takes a little while to fully run and I did notice a difference in available speed after about 1000 miles.

      It's a really nice bike, especially to practice, and gain some experience if you are eventually going for your full UK bike licence.

    What coolant do you use ?

    • @lost-again
      @lost-again  Рік тому +1

      Hi, I now use Castrol Motorcycle Coolant which seems to be ok. Haven't noticed the engine temperature light coming on since using that.

    Matey if I was you I’d swap it for something else, sounds like you’re really unhappy with the bike ? You should have bought a Hanway then you’d really have something to moan about 🤔😉

  • @kevindarkstar
    @kevindarkstar Рік тому +1

    Your comments on the brakes is a bit worrying, you should be using the front brake much more than the rear, you are making a common mistake of a new rider, most of the stopping power is on the front, and because of the poo linked brake idea if you use just rear you get maybe 20% front anyway, and you should never grab brakes, use progressive pull on the lever

    • @lost-again
      @lost-again  Рік тому +3

      Yes, good point, you are quite right. I have since been practising more with both breaks, stripping the speed off with the front and then bringing on the rear at lower speeds.

      @jamespardy6921 thanks for your comments. Yes I did think that when I have been doing these. I need to try and lighten it all up a bit. Thanks for the feedback I will aim to get better at this.
