Amazing demonstration. I do hope in the future, a training video can be done on how that dog returned the ball. My Alsatian would enjoy this toy but the retrieval within the presentation is superb. Thanks for the joy and making me laugh.
Thank you for the demo. I have the most "POWERFUL-JAWED" Aussie I've ever seen in my life! I've owned 3 Aussies (I presently have 2 : A male and female,) and NEVER have I had one (the female) that has jaws as POWERFUL as a German Shephard, Pitbull, Rottweiler and Doberman ALL COMBINED. I'm serious..... She's not mean.... she's smart and well behaved. She just plays rough and has destroyed EVERY SINGLE toy I've purchased that "guaranteed" would be indestructible (yeah right.) She has even destroyed my male Aussie's toys, and he cries so pitifully. I'm definitely getting one of these because they'll both herd it around the yard together.
I can't wait to get mine... I thought about this months ago when my dog kept popping every inflatable ball we had in the house. We had those nice, giant ones like beach balls ;( Tonight, she got our soccer ball even though I was trying to teach her not to bite it, just bounce it off her nose. It didn't work. I wanted to get the largest one bc it resembled the yoga ones you sit on, but something tells me it's just too hard and plasticky, will hurt the kids trying to kick it and then lose my dog's interest for being always a chore or workout lol We settled for the Medium size. Hopefully after this, we can have any ball and she'll know to just push it.
I have an 8month old shelter/ mini Aussie. Can you do a video showing how to teach them to use this ball? My pup just sniffs it’s and tries to chew it/ pick it up but I intentionally got her one that doesn’t fit in her mouth
This is a great Idea! I will have to see what I can do with this idea! I started playing with it a soccer ball, dribbling around the yard getting them to chase me then, stared redirecting that to the ball, just like fetch rewarding them when they chased it and brought it back. It took time but now they are obsessed with them.... as you can see LOL
No way!!! You must teach them to bring it back. Took me a MONTH with Zippy... the most difficult thing I’ve ever taught a dog. ua-cam.com/video/FZV9XAldFXw/v-deo.html
My 3 month old Heeler mix pup started herding her giggle ball right away, so I got her some other balls...she popped the two thin "skinned" balls with in minutes. The volleyball she started peeling, the soccer ball she is tearing the cover off, but hasn't popped it yet. The balls that are holding up the best are really hard basketballs but I suspect that she'll pop them once she gets bigger/older. But she loves to run around herding the balls. I will look into getting her a jollyball or two as a tired pup = happy mom. ;)
I have a full-blood cattle dog, and a cattle dog mix. I got them one after seeing multiple youtube videos singing their praises, but neither of my dogs want anything to do with it. How do I train them to use it??

Hi I'm looking for a link to your particular jolly balls not all jolly balls are made the same you're seem to be a lot harder than the others I've seen that are super soft to the touch can you please provide a link to where you purchased your jolly balls. Thanks in advance.
I have a header who loves her herding ball but it hurts her muzzle unless I limit her time to 2 minutes a day. There is a Soccer ball for dogs that is puncture proof but too small. Anybody found a soft plastic puncture proof ball around the size of a herding ball 18inches? If they up sized the soccer ball it would be perfect!!
Just got my border collie one. The 14 inch. Best money I have ever spent.

My mini ausie destroys every stuff toy & finds the squeaker too. He also deflates any ball that’s inflated but loves playing with them😊

Are they good for a super strong dog lol❤
Do they just herd the ball on their own or do you have to teach them? I have cattle dog mix who I think might enjoy this.
I started kicking it around and they eventually got a hang of it
@@MAXIMUSMINIMALIST i think your video is broken
Vi Si hmmmmmm I always test links not sir what’s going on there. Here this should work... ua-cam.com/video/FZV9XAldFXw/v-deo.html
