One of the most sexiest songs that Kenny Rogers ever did.
Totally agree, man! It’s on every slow jam playlist I have.
Lyrics, the melody and Kenny’s whisper-like tone with his raspiness just hits that’s nerve!
RIL, Kenny!
Kenny stood out for decades as the best of the best. He attracted songs that no one else could own in how he projected the lyrics and arrangement to seem to be our own lives. Rest in Peace Kenny. From your earliest days recording music to your place at Gods throne, we benefitted from your God given gift of singing the stories we absolutely loved. ❤
The one and only. Will never be anyone to fill his shoes.Treasure the times of meeting him ,the autographed picture, tamborine and acknowledgment from the stage in the 70's.Yes,old gal here.🌹🎼🎶🎵❤
This song is one of his best hits, this will never get old. too bad good music like this is hard to come by these days. This is what I call a very classy sexy song.
Absolute perfection. If today's country was even a fraction of this maybe I could still listen.
although I love Kenny Rogers' music, today's Country music is awesome!
I love Kenny Rogers Music, from the 70s onward, but this has no Country sound to it in the world of music. The fretless bass moving so quickly like that reminds me of Elton John songs released around the same timeframe. It would be considered Contemporary or Pop at the time.
@@isherwoodmeIt is basically the FE in the 80s mixed with Smokey Robinson blues.
He sure knew how to put a song together. So real.thanks Kenny. Singing with the angels.
I don’t know what’s hotter, the song or the video! Wow.
Getting Stanley Jordan to do the guitar solo was a stroke of genius. The track was already fabulous then add Stanley and it goes way over the top. In my opinion, it's Kennys finest track.
My all time favorite Kenny...masterpiece!
RIP Kenny Rogers.... Back in Fall of 1985, heard this song and this song helped me through a transition from moving from one area to the next when I was in 8th grade. To this day, nearly 35 years later, this song is probally one of my favorite songs of his.
No one could or ever will be able to sing a song like Kenny Rogers it is so obvious he put his heart and soul into his music your fans sure miss you but your music will live on I send my thoughts and prayers to his family he was such an humble and gracious Man thank you for your magical voice Mr Rogers
Kenny rogers is without a doubt one of the greatest country and western singers...ever!
There is something about Kenny's voice.
kennys voice is just so warm and comfortng. ive listened to him since i was 5 im 28 now
Kenny has a legendary sound with his multitude of octaves! One of my biggest inspirations.
@@boysoldier1014 Totally agree - it's rich in tone, comforting, soothing and deeply expressive. He was an exquisite vocalist and easily one of the greatest tonal singers that ever lived.
Wow! Never knew how great this song truly was, till I heard it 30 years later...seriously? Why does music seem SOOO different anymore...THIS WAS THE BOMB! Also never knew the real message...GET IT KENNY!
I knew exactly what Kenny was singing about even in 1985. I hate it when it gets out of control
this is one song you have to listen to and understand the simplicity of love. its not how much money you spend on your love one, its the simple things about her. thanks Kenny for a wonderful and memorable song of ALL time.
Kenny Rogers is one of my all-time favorite country singers and Dave Loggins is a songwriting genius. They both hit grand slams with this hit!
I love this song too. Very romantic. I wish someone would sing this song to me. I would faint.
I tried to sing this to a girlfriend I had in high school...she didn't seem to get it...
Matthew Casteel girls are flakey when they're in high school. older women get it
Rest In Piece Kenny. The world sadly lost a country music legend and icon today.
One of the best songs ever!! I believe this was the first county/pop crossover of the 80s..
RIP Kenny Rogers. This is a beautiful song.
- I know he had an extended list of hits...but this one is my absolute favorite....
My boyfriend plays this song everytime we're in the car💓
I loved this song way before I knew what he was singing about!! LOL and now!! wow!! one of my favorite of his! I cant believe the video is on here!!
A song about Kenny's love of morning breakfast, having cream of wheat with milk & his honey, and only to find out that he has unfortunately developed a gluten allergy and is lactose intolerant.
It is difficult to comprehend that Kenny Rogers is the latest to pass away all we can do is keep his legacy alive r I p kenny
I remember a guy from work always telling me that this song was Kenny Rodgers singing about morning wood lol
Who would give this song a thumbs down?.... really? This stirs all kinds of imaginings..........Kenny was so versatile, one of a kind.........
This was a favorite of mine when it was first on the charts in '85 and is still one of my favorites! Rest In Peace Kenny! You were one of the greats!
l agree with you, indeed Kenny Rogers is a great and
talented artist who's songs never goes out of style,
he's one of my favorites artist, he's songs still and
always heals the Soul, I pray God gives you lot of
beautiful days.
Classic Kenny Rogers..love the velvet voice..great love song!!
Only Kenny can do this..GREAT!!!
truly one of his hidden gems, a great song.
My late dad used to play this when I was younger i liked it then although I was too young to understand what he was singing about...now it's like WOW perfection...I miss my dad
I Love This Kenny Rogers 1986 Music Video, "Morning Desire," Which Became The #1 Country Hit In America.
I think this is the sexiest song I’ve ever heard.
My dad used to play this song on Sundays when i was younger and i love it to this day....R.I.P kenny....i love you
Here it is seven in the a.m.
It's gonna take more then wakin' to rise me
I wake up with this need again
But feel the love of the woman beside me
It's just one of those days
When I wanna lay here with her
And love her before I leave
And listen to the rain fall on the roof
And the thunder sounds like horses hooves
Oh, I listen to her breathe
And it makes me wanna wake her up
And tell her that I'm on fire
With morning desire
It looks like I'm gonna be late again
And I gonna give up and get movin' and I'm tryin'
But the longer I keep stalling
The more I think about callin' in and lying
It's just one of those days
When I wanna stay here with her
And watch her while she sleeps
And listen to the rain fall on the roof
And the thunder sounds like horses hooves
Oh, I listen to her breathe
And it makes me wanna wake her up
And tell her that I'm on fire
With morning desire
Well, I love to hear the rain fallin' on the roof
And the thunder sounds like horses hooves
Oh, I listen to her breathe
And it makes me wanna wake her up
And tell her that I'm on fire
With morning desire, with morning desire
Listen to the rain
Listen to the rain
Listen to the rain
The best love song of all time
I was fortunate. To have a few mornings like that.
I remember waking up one early one grey rainy Saturday morning in the mid-80s when I was a teenager. My mama was cooking breakfast and my daddy was listening to the radio and this song came on. It was a perfect soundtrack to the mood that morning. And I knew even then I would always remember that moment in time every time I heard this song, because of this song.
Mr Hardin, it’s nice to hear your story. You know , music is one piece of art that always takes us back to the days we could no longer get back to. I was born in the 80’s, and love Kenny because our Papa loves listening to him. So we grow up in one little corner of a village in India, listening to these country singers and other type of English songs as well.
Coming fresh from dizzying heights of ultra success with the Barry Gibb produced EYES THAT SEE IN THE DARK album, this refreshing song with a smooth bass playing, still echoes some residual vocal influence of Barry on Kenny's silky voice here.❤
Morning Desire is actually a Quickie in the tradition of Afternoon Delight!🤣
A gorgeous tune. I miss Kenny so much. At least we will have the records to enjoy. Love you, Kenny.
One of the all time greatest songs of all time. Thank you.
All I can say is thank you for your Talent . Rest In Peace
You can't beat classic music like this
There will never be another kenny
My absolute favorite Kenny Rogers song. This face is the one I have grown to love and miss so much. He was so very damn handsome and sexy and Oh Lord, the sound of his voice! Oh Kenny who made you hate your beautiful face so that you would turn it into that horrible one that you currently posses now.
A jerk music executive talked him into it. He admitted later it was a mistake and he regretted it.
@@suewalsh1883 that’s so sad isn’t it but at least we have these beautiful memories of him with these videos to remember how handsome and talented he was
RIP Kenny
I love Kenny Rogers so much. Amazing singer, wonderful human being. His songs are out of the world, they always sent me to a different world. I love his songs. Morning desire is one of my favourites.
One of Kenny's most beautiful songs. Love listening to this 1 working on night shift. Very calm and relaxing.
This is my favorite song from Kenny Rogers. I love the passion in the lyrics.
This reminds me of Afternoon Delight. It sounds wholesome but if you pay attention to the lyrics it's about a quickie.
A song about Kenny's love of morning breakfast, having cream of wheat with milk & his honey, and only to find out that he has unfortunately developed a gluten allergy and is lactose intolerant.
Kenny Rogers - totally the most underated singer of all time -
Kenny Rogers and Produced by Sir George Martin two Legends together a great video!
...that perfect song on a rainy day...while.lay in each other's arms...and want that desire...
A rainey morning. wow! nothing like it. Thank CMA
Only KENNY can do this
Thanks Kenny! Sung perfectly.
I heard this for the first time that I could remember a few months on a Kenny Rodgers playlist. I’m familiar with most of his songs, but I was blown away when I heard this. A great bass line, lyrics and guitar solo at the end. How come this wasn’t a hit?
RIP KENNY! Your music has soothed the soul & helped the tears to flow & the smiles to shine through your music! We love you & you'll be missed immensely :'(
Finally! One of Kenny Rogers' best songs, in my humble opinion. It's incredible that this video was banned from MTV in the 80s because it was "too suggestive".
BY far, my favorite song from Mr. Rogers. A perfect match of voice and song. Guitar at the end is a perfect compliment and closurer.
RIP Mr. Rogers. The song I liked the most!!!
Kenny hit #1 country, #8 AC, and #72 pop in Billboard. God bless1
Love this song.Still have the 45.Thanks.
What a great song and video you are sure missed Kenny Rogers listen to your music all the time no one has such a wonderful voice as you did rip Mr Rogers
This is one of my favorite songs. No one does it better than Kenny Rogers.
I like this era of country music: Kenny, Restless Heart, Ricky Van Shelton, Travis Tritt, Randy Travis, Judds, KT Oslen, Patty Loveless, Clint Black, etc. It was simple and engaging...Today's country music is pop-rock or rap-country...and more about image, pyrotechnics, light shows, smoke machines, glitz glam,....No thanks...I can get that at a Metal concert.......I prefer country music just like this.
I do agree with you about Kenny Rogers but not the latter I think 2day's Country music is much better than the Country music of yesterday
This was and still is my favorite from Kenny Rogers.
Beautiful.
This takes me back when men were men and women were glad to be.
Classic 80s classic music
The best song in the world
They don't make music like this anymore.
Kenny rogers morning desire this is a hit song I loved
Reminds me of this guy I’m crushing on SO hard! C.P. 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Kenny greatest country singer
His best song
Sip Sir 😔😢 you left us great music to last a lifetime 🎶🎵🎼💕🙏
I knew the old cowboy in the video, he was a horseshoe blacksmith in Iowa for a good number of years. a great man. he moved to Texas and good a job on Kenny's ranch, His name was Maynard Thornberry, He Also had horses that he road in the Rose-bowl parade, he road them roman-style standing on top with on foot on one horse and the other on another. God bless you Maynard RIP
I love this song by Kenny Rogers,!!!!!!!!!!
Morning Desire By Kenny Rogers,!!!!!!!!!!
I am sorry I didn't get behind Kenny Roger's songs before he passed on, but I have plenty of his CD's. I discovered Morning Desire and knew he was a lover and it all came through in his songs. RIP Kenny Roger's. You did good.
Kenny's vocal vibrato was like no other
Rest easy Kenny.....thanks for everything
This song can draw tears for no damn reason at all.
Kenny Rodgers is a legend and stanley Jordan on guitar at the end is a master at finger taping guitar !!!😁
One of my favorite Kenny songs..Rest in Peace Kenny
Kenny's sleepy voice is a perfect match for the lyrics and Stanley Jordan's perky Jazz solo is like the morning coffee after the morning desire. Most prob don't know Kenny was a Jazz guy himself in his younger days
What kills me is a lot of people don't know about this song I forgot about it
2018 Kenny Rogers is " STILL ! " KING 👑 TOO ME !
I read about the reason why he did this song. He wanted to do something like Bruce Springsteen’s I’m on fire. One of Kenny best songs
Was always my favorite song he sang ❤️
Written by Dave Loggins. ACC's #1 song of '86. God bless you, brother Kenny! Thanx, Colombia, for postin' it. Have a blessed week!
I love The Melody of this song he could be singing duck-duck-goose and it still be as beautiful
He is handsome n has the voice.Every woman wud want him for themselves.
l agree with you, indeed Kenny Rogers is a great and
talented artist who's songs never goes out of style,
he's one of my favorites artist, he's songs still and
always heals the Soul, I pray God gives you lot of
beautiful days.
Dios tenga en su Gloria a este ejemplar cantante, te extrañaremos Kenny , ahora te toca cantar con el coro de Angeles. 22 Marzo 2020.
I love this song so much, first heard it when Kenny preformed it on Letterman. Not another voice like Kenny’s !
This was a #1 hit for Kenny back in 1985, I believe it was. And that beautiful lady in the video was his wife at the time, Marianne. It really is a beautiful song.
