Actually, I didn't become interested in WCTH until I saw Chris McNally was in the series. After season eight I had to go back and watch it from the beginning. I was so saddened to see that Abigail wouldn't be back. She was such a strong, beautiful personality. So looking forward to seeing Elizabeth and Lucas make a perfect match with little Jack.

In having a hard time getting into this season because of it. Hopefully, this week change over the.
I have never liked Nathan but I am starting to like him now that he is changing a bit. Over time, I think we will see a kinder, friendlier, less moody Nathan. Maybe he will even have a girlfriend.

I think this race has a bet involved per Lucas & the goal of the race is to help Nathan see changes aren't necessarily bad-learning how to drive, Lee & Rosemary are a little lost it seems too busy with work it, Lucabeth love is in full force YES YES Angela is spreading her wings & experiencing new friendships and activities-love it, Fierce Fiona will be a business women that people respect & challenge no doubt Season 9 is going to epic can't wait

Love this!!! However, Sergeant is definitely not quite as fast as he used to be. Compare his pace here in this Sneak Peak with his speed when Jack rode him down the path in front of the Row houses to find Wendall Backus after Rosaline went missing in Season 1 episode 3. Perhaps Nathan is holding him back on purpose? We’ll have to see, lol.
It seems Nathan, Allie, and Mei are already becoming a unit 😏 It’ll be interesting to watch that develop. A friendly race will be fun! Hahaha! Hickam 🤣 I laugh every time he drops the hanky. I just love Lucas & Elizabeth’s relationship ❤️ It’s so nice to see them so happy.

I’m curious about Mei too. We barely know anything about her, but she’s captured the eye of HV’s Mountie. I don’t think there’ll be a winner for the race. It’ll probably end in a tie or they won’t finish. Looks like a friendly race though. Loads of fun in store this season!

@@kategallahan9229 Because the network made them choose L. Not because it was best for the show, or Elizabeth, little Jack or Allie. Not because of the amazing story lines they could write about a blended family. Be happy for yourself, but let others voice their disappointment. We can still do that. But my fear is, like this, they are going to continue this saga between the two men and not show an actual family grow.

Definitely think Lucas is pushing bike back to Valley Gas... like the idea that it is a draw.. too early to decide between traditional (horse) and modern (bike) . Modernization and industrialization will be ongoing theme.
I think I can see Lucas running out of gas and pushing back. But overall what he will win is the love and support of his woman he loves as it seems she is waiting for him ❤️
I am so over this triangle that was not a triangle. People just needed a good heart warming story, not another never ending soap opera.

Nice coming across this a year later and just a few months before S10. Premiere! Nathan won the race but Lucas and Elizabeth shared such a sweet moment and kiss afterwards it didn't matter who won. The vows they shared were beautiful ❤️. And Lucas sating "you are my passion and you are my adventure" was so romantic. There wasn't even a hint of the love triangle in S9. Elizabeth stood by Lucas through every moment and left no doubt who she loved. Now they are engaged !!! Ratings were fantastic and not only renewed for S10 but also for S11.

@@bhd7721 I remember at first that they were just friends, and one episode she started to fix his bow in henry's office before heading off on the motorbike. The way faith is looking at him in one promo picture -it looks like she is interested. Technically she has no idea how things will go with Carson. Hopefully Carson will write a letter to her or something else?
@@auntiedmc6457 Well let's hope so, what did you think of Carson and Faith's romance at onetime? To be honest they were made for each other and I could tell that Faith was truly interested in Carson as something more than friendship and was very jealous over his first relationship he was in. I'm just glad that it never worked out between them and that the writers has gotten Carson and Faith together romantically instead. Anyway I sure wish that the writers would bring back Carson so that him and Faith can work things out and hopefully this time get married.

It’s not his horse though. It’s Elizabeth horse (well Jack’s horse) Sergeant so hence why Elizabeth says Sergeant is fast and then Lucas jokingly asks is she sure she is rooting for him… as me or the horse.

He isn’t and never has been. So either rewatch or stop misleading cos it’s been proven he isn’t and is a good man since season 6 when it was revealed why he was mysterious and kept things to himself. And is a Upstanding Man. By the writing, the showrunners and the actor. ( also it just might be your wishful thinking wanting him to cos bias to Nathan. If I was petty I could call Nathan shady since he had a big secret of hand in Jack’s death - Fort Clay etc). Lucas is good to Elizabeth seen that over the seasons with how he was with her and how she was with him

Nathan does not have to do much to steal the scene -- he commands the scene with his larger than life personality and he doesn't even try. His casually delivered quip: "Let's get this over with" simply shows he is comfortable with himself and has nothing to prove, unlike the tea drinking Lucas who is desperate to prove himself. Nathan runs circles around Lucas and always will. There's a word for men like Nathan: Alpha.

I know one thing for certain, and that is that I am NOT on Elizabeth's side. The actress and her character seriously turned me off last season. She was so ugly in her behavior, especially in the way she abused both Rosemary and Nathan, all for the sake of enlarging her narcissistic, monstrous ego. No, thank you very much.
