Spot-on questions, Meghan!! Nothing less for the GOAT. 🙌🏼💪🏼 I love Courtney for many reasons, but the top 3 are, she never gloats, never make it seem unreal and unachievable, and her mental game is in-freakin-credible!!
I love hearing that she’s actually human and struggled through this one. I can’t even imagine how this was possible after western states. Unreal… congrats! (Great interview as well!)🎉
I followed Courtney on the live tracker the whole time and when she finished it was apparent that she truly left it all on the trail. But if that amazing performance is what she can do when she isn’t on her best day it proves what an incredible athlete she is! I am so impressed by her.
Courtney transcends the sport. Her skills alike a tennis player being able to win on hardcourt, clay and grass. Her resilience funnel over flowing with joy, passion and love. For ANYONE wanting to get into the sport, or any existing elite athlete this is an inspiring role model. What I truly love about her is that she is not fixated on training data, split times, HR, she runs for the love and joy of it, and thats where SO SO many people get lost in running, Ultras and beyond. When you just embrace the joy of the pursuit, you can be the best in the world. Chapeau Courtney and thank you.
No words can capture the talent of this woman! She is truly amazing and so thoughtful and humble and full of amazing empathy for all those around her in the running community and beyond! I was so thrilled to watch the whole race. Beyond entertaining and inspiring and can’t wait to catch her again. Goooo Court! ❤
Mind blowing ability, capacity and mindset. Watching one of, if not the greatest write ultra running history. Courtney is about as good an example of a humble, legendary athlete as I can think of...
Such a great interview Meghan. Incomprehensible to perform that well while feeling so bad for that long. Courtney seems to have indeed mastered pain cave management. Girl is TOUGH.
Great interview Meghan and Courtney!!! I love everything about this sport and this interview epitomizes everything that is so pure and beautiful about long distance running in the mountains. Courtney, you are such a great sports role model and it's so great to hear your reflections on your adventures afterwards from your post UTMB interview to this Western States/Hardrock double. A huge congratulations!
What a fine champion. She is so good for this sport which is progressively gaining traction . Excellent interview. Many congrats to IRunFarMedia for their incredible coverage of this event. If you know anything about this area in the San Juan mountains, you will understand that pulling off a successful live stream in this environment is a miracle.
Courtney is about as good an example of a humble, legendary athlete as I can think of...seeing one of the greatest in their prime, knowing she might be the best to ever do it, is a rare honour.
She is so incredibly gracious. Interviews like this must get to athletes but she was charming and patient and super friendly. All around super person. Big fan!
She'll have about twice as long to rest and recharge than she had between WS and Hardrock... so it's entirely possible, she's all about testing her limits so I sure wouldn't put it past her to run UTMB and complete the triple crown...

The will power and positivity of this woman is extraordinary🤯
Running this and states so close together shows how versatile she is. Two vastly different races. Wow.
One of the best champions at any sport! Absolutely love watching her run - And hearing her doing interviews - such happiness and humility!

Amazing to be able to witness this time in Ultrarunning! Between the epic performances and the Livestreaming, I feel much more a part of it.

Great interview Meghan. Great questions and how can you not love her humility. It's mind blowing!
Love Courtney. What a generous champion. We're so lucky to have her.
Congratulations Courtney! My family enjoyed watching you finish and tracking you. You're an amazing inspiration to this 50k runner.
Thanks for the Q&A and Courtney thanks for keeping it real ❤
Great interview. Interesting to hear she found it genuinely tough. Sometimes you get the impression 100m is nothing for her!
She’s the best. Simple as that.

Gritty GOAT always! Bravo!!
Courtney looked absolutely trashed at Ouray and Anne-Lise looked an amazing, no way I would have picked Courtney at that point. Amazing turn around.
Great interview! absolute GOAT!
Beast mode with smile!
Thank You Courtney and iRunFar
East to say, ultra runners are the superhumans - and, they nicest people! Courtney rules!
She the best!!! 💪🏻👏
Absolutely amazing ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🫡
How does Courtney get better with the hardest races back to back? I'm over here falling apart 😂
She broke her own record?! That is great!
She did! -Meghan
just imagine if courtney aint feeling that bad she mentioned...
UTMB next?
Would love to know what Courtney did differently to 2022 to get passed the stomach issues
Courtney is the female goat.
Ann Transom first GOAT Courtney Current GOAT
Is Leadville in the cards?
I hope she goes to chamonix and crush UTMB... HAS anyone won western states, hardrock and UTMB in the same year? No one has done that right?
She'll have about twice as long to rest and recharge than she had between WS and Hardrock... so it's entirely possible, she's all about testing her limits so I sure wouldn't put it past her to run UTMB and complete the triple crown...
Having a bad day, and still setting a course record! 🤯She must be made of something else than the rest of us. 😂
UTMB IS NEXT……surely
And what if she was rested & felt good from the start. . .😮
What an absolute beast. Undeniable GOAT
