It would be nice when you start a trip like this to mention ports you would be visiting along the way. We watched (we want to do a trip similar to this but in reverse) but had no idea of it was a straight shot from Australia to HI. Also, how many on the ship?

Wow, Brittany, this ship is huge!🙉 It's amazing what they can fit in this vessel. Incredible. I would love to try a cruise at least once, but my husband doesn’t even want to consider it. He has a logical and technical mind and thinks of every possible issue that might happen with almost 4,000 people in one spot😬. I hope one day you can convince him to try. Your room looks very nice and spacious.👍
I think it was a very good idea for you guys to choose a cruise for your trip to Canada. 👍Very smart. It looks like you enjoyed it, and that's the most important thing.💕
Lots of love to both of you.💖

I definitely think that helped me decide once and for all that I don't want to do a cruise. Don't get me wrong, it looked lovely - my sister loves them - but just feels too 'pre-packaged' to me. Always preferred 'FIT' travelling. It was so amazing to see it all in a way that I could actually envisage how it would be! Such a great video! 🤗❤️

Thanks so much!! Yeah I don't think cruises are for me either, I much prefer giving more time to explore one spot. It was a great way to make our way back to Canada though! Definitely beats a long haul flight ☺️

Thank you for the helpful video! I am considering such a cruise. Can you tell me why you would not take this type of cruise again? Thank you!

Hello! I just think cruising is not the style of travel I like at this point in my life. The best part of travel for me is walking around cities and exploring local sites and cuisines and it's hard to do that in just 6-8 hours at each stop. It's a great way to get a taste of a destination but I wish I had more time in each country. Most of our days on this cruise were at sea too, so it got boring quickly.

I’ve heard that this is one of the older ships that has not been renovated. You used the word dated, but was everything well maintained?

@@micheller2696 everything was well maintained but yes, definitely dated and older. Nothing wrong with that though! I prefer some character to a sterile modern look anyway.

Would you say this ship was value for money? All looked good but you ended saying you wouldn't go on it again. I've only done one cruise and that was P&O which I thought was very good but you always get mixed reviews usually from folk who have been on alot of ships on different cruise liners, hence my question is, is it value for money - I'm looking at this ship for an Asian Cruise coming in at around £3k (single supplement) for 18 days - to me sounds cheap? What's your thoughts.

I think it was great value for money, yes. We only paid about $700 NZD more per person than it would have been to fly home. Since we booked in NZ too, gratuities were all included in the fare. I wish I waited to book it more last minute because the price dropped like crazy about a month out from sailing.
