I should have mentioned this of course. Living on the flood plain means that we can not get insurance. Having defended the house I am told that we may be able to get it now but what would be the point if there is not going to be any damage? Also, so far, there is no sign of the promised financial help towards the expense of defense.

random comment i know, but after watching this video, it reminded me of something. the louis theroux doc that you were involved in, when you were giving him the tour of your house, there was a very unusual floor standing lamp in the corner, it only appeared in shot briefly, it was like a figure? its looked very cool indeed. do you know what im going on about? ha ha! it just stuck in my head. if you do know what im on about, could you tell me anything about said lamp? :)
Hi, I'm sorry but I have no memory of such a lamp. Floor standing? Figure? A very long time ago I did have a standard lamp of a genii but that was long before Louis came around.

Very wise indeed, not relying on someone elses defences. Fingers crossed its never used.

ive just had a look at the louis show. yeah its a genii, you actually show it to him.......its a beautiful object indeed.
