Wonderful to see the community spirit with so many 'characters', plus a busy train departing Watchet at 14:40 in the video. The male vocalist early on was talented. Mike, you've really captured what a success this day was, though if I was running the show, I'd only have a 40s Weekend every second year to minimise chances of it becoming stale. The scene of the station at 27:00 was very well shot with an interesting song. As usual, excellent camerawork.
I thought ‘Dickie Lines’ was a welcome addition to the singers! I have noted that most are female or a female choir - gives a balance & he also was very entertaining doing very good impersonations. The organisers should try and get him back for the next 40’s weekend. The ‘King’ was the same person as last year and bears a good likeness but no Queen Mum this year. I do agree about the need for a sound system at the Remembrance Service- does let it down a bit.( Shame about that ‘gentleman’ deciding to get in your way’) All in all a lovely time had by all.
Well done Mike a very entertaining Week End.
Lovely to watch Mike. Looking forward to part 4 tomorrow.
Very enjoyable videos Mike of a lovely weekend Thank-you for so much love to you and Val from Joanne and Chris.xx
So glad you had the weather thanks for sharing Mike
Can’t help thinking that London wasn’t worth saving😊 poor old Noel would be really alarmed at the present invaders!
