Thanks for the discussion of freedom from an eternal/gospel perspective! I love the focus on with "Wisdom of God"... I wonder if the second version of plates was primarily to help Nephi and Joseph gain faith in the wisdom of God. While there is a lot we don't know about the translation, Emma noted that the seer stone/hat was used after the 116 pages were lost - with the plates wrapped nearby.... with God revealing light and knowledge through the stone, it seems that, practically, creating a second summary on plates was not required for the seer stone translation - but maybe essential for both Joseph and Nephi regarding developing their faith in the Wisdom of God.....
