An atmospheric, enjoyable tour. I have never visited Cardiff but feel it should be on my list…looks wonderful. Keep up the good work, from a new subscriber 🙏❤️👍
It was a good little tour but missed some of my favourite parts of the historical areas of the city centre. I recently visited Cardiff. It has changed again since this video. The old canal has opened up at the end of Queen Street. While other parts of the centre have seen so much regeneration, Queen Street and Grey Friars Road have declined. The Dumbells Road development, the Brains Brewery development, and Howells development will help raise the profile of Cardiff. Would like to see maybe a tour of the indoor arcades, and the museums in the city centre. A Cardiff Bay tour would be good, too 👍🏻
The great thing about Cardiff as a city is that one can walk around for hours without dodging cars or buses plus there are so many arcades to look around shops if it's raining which happens a lot in Wales that's why it's so beautiful and green . Loved Wales when I was on holdays there from Australia.
I wish that the person filming had gone upstairs in the market, I will go and have a look myself after Christmas, I left Cardiff 28 years ago I would love to come back to live there.
I wonder how many of you know that the indoor market was originally a woman’s prison. What you see upstairs is individual shops, and those individual shops were initially the women’s cells
Everyone watching this video should look up videos by a guy that calls himself, The wandering turnip. He has made many videos titled death of the high street. You will never believe how many towns all over England that are now dead. All shops boarded up. Black lol. Bolton, Slough, and many more. No sign of that happening in Cardiff is there, great place.
Recognised much of it but SO many changes since I last visited the city centre!

SBWRIEL (litter), so many consonants!
Not enough vowels you are right 😂
W and also Y aren't consonants in Welsh - but vowels.
English has 21 consonants,Welsh has 23
Welsh has more vowels than English.
is it an affordable place to retire?
East meets West. Germany.
I taxied for thirty years in Cardiff. I am amazed at how thriving the City still is compared to hundreds of dead city centers around the UK.😊
