In this lecture, we will cover Class 6 civics NCERT chapter 2. "Diversity and Discrimination"
In chapter 2, we will discuss the diversity present in India. We will also understand why this diversity is not always celebrated. Apart from that, we'll study the concepts of prejudice, gender differences, stereotypes, inequality and discrimination. Then, we'll study about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the fight against inequality of Dalits, women, peasants and tribals, and the idea of equality discussed in the Preamble of our Constitution. All points have been explained in a simple and easy to understand manner. This way, it will be easier to grasp and memorise these points for class 6 exams, as well as, various competitive exams, like UPSC, bank PO, cds, ssc gl, etc.
