It wasn’t hella hard in most areas, it was pretty average for classic Mega Man standards, but it required a unique type of playstyle. And not bum-rushing, that’s important.
It's the one Mega Man game I refuse to beat all the way through. And this is coming from someone who's beaten and played Mega Man 1 dozens of times. Music and Robot Masters are cool tho.
Personally, even though I've never played Mega Man & Bass, just watching someone play it gives me a feel for how hard that game is compared to the entrees before it. *Especially* evident by this robot master's infernal battle. Edit: As of now, I have finally played and beaten Mega Man & Bass, specifically as Mega Man, and I'll just say that the robot masters, including dynamo man, were never the hardest part, it was the stuff AFTER.
Oh, it is ridiculously hard compared to the main games, this level especially. It's even worse because Japan got a release on the Super Famicom (SNES), and all we got in the West was a GBA release. Have fun beating this game with less controls!

ahhh Mega man and Bass.... where Bass crushes the levels but sucks against the boss and Mega Man has a helluva time in the levels but kinda dunks bosses. I never actually beat this legitimately. used emulator save states. and the GBA version is... rough.
He even bothered to retain the GET GET GO from the first version, how cute!
I love this remix and I love this game. Except for King 2. Bad Stage, should have been broken up into 3 stages.
True. This game was the Mega Man equivalent of Doom 2 Master Levels
That giant robot boss was a pain in the ass. Failed so many times during its tank form because of the fire beneath..!
