This was a scam no question in my mind. The fact the dude pretended he spit on the card because he knew it was going to come back with a bad grade. Worn edges? Chipped corner? Doesn't seem like a card that's been sitting in a pack all these years. The packs looked fucking mint, too. That's the obvious fuck up. If the packs looked totally perfect and undamaged...how the fuck are the contents inside worn and damaged.

I don't collect sports cards, but I dig for antique bottles. Everytime Im digging in the mud I just hope to find something super rare. Well one day, I found a green Greeleys Bitters Bottle in a outhouse pit from the 1870's. I had the same reaction. I first uncovered the bottom knowing it was a bottle but figured it would be shattered. I kept lightly digging and then I saw the Greeleys logo. I shit a fucking brick. Finally pulled it out and not only was it not cracked but it had no mineralization on it. I had the exact same reaction, started sweating and shaking. Still the most valuable antique bottle in my collection. Worth about 6-10 grand, but I don't plan on selling any of my bottle collection. Just love looking at them. So, its cool to see someone else as jazzed about collectibles and their reactions as well.

I don't collect sports cards, but I dig for antique bottles. Everytime Im digging in the mud I just hope to find something super rare. Well one day, I found a green Greeleys Bitters Bottle in a outhouse pit from the 1870's. I had the same reaction. I first uncovered the bottom knowing it was a bottle but figured it would be shattered. I kept lightly digging and then I saw the Greeleys logo. I shit a fucking brick. Finally pulled it out and not only was it not cracked but it had no mineralization on it. I had the exact same reaction, started sweating and shaking. Still the most valuable antique bottle in my collection. Worth about 6-10 grand, but I don't plan on selling any of my bottle collection. Just love looking at them. So, its cool to see someone else as jazzed about collectibles and their reactions as well.
Haha Idk anyone who would spend that on a bottle not even if it was full of the best liquor 😂 I collect antique guns but I like them cuz I can look at them and acutely shoot them no way I'd be collecting something that just sits
