Gather around my children and hear the exciting stories about talking animals created by one man (who was the worlds first furry.) Twitter ➤ / theodd1sout Website ➤ theodd1sout.com/
Theres this one fable about a chicken, cow, pig and goat. (i think) So the chicken is making a cake and he asks the other animals 'hey wanna help' they say 'we're too lazy' the chicken is like 'oh fine' and he starts making it and he asks the cow 'hey man can you help me make this part of the cake' the cows like 'no thanks man' then he moves on to the next step and asks the pig, 'hey man can you help with this part of the cake' the pig says 'no thanks' then he goes to the next step he asks the goat 'hey can you help with this part of the cake' the goat says 'no thanks' then when the cake is done, the other animals say 'can we have some' the chicken goes, 'no, you didnt help when i asked' *mic drop* (i forgot most of the story so idk if eveything is correct)
Panic! At my Black parade with Tyler and Josh WITH A HAVEN’T YOU PEOPLE EVER HEARD OF, *NEVER STEALING THE HORSE’S OATS* ohhh, Sorry, had to do it, too 😓
I asked my teacher to show this to our classmates (we’re doing fables) but when we got to the Hillary Clinton part.... My teachers face was like this 😳 for 2 minutes
The reason we don't know how many fables Aesop wrote is because he told the stories by speaking and when he died people wrote down everything they remembered so it's over 655 because they probably forgot some fables.
my favorite will always be the bat and the scorpion. The bat sees a scorpion drowning in a lake. so the bat swoops in and saves the scorpion, but the scorpion stings the bat! and the bat says "I tried to save you! now we'll both die!" so the scorpion says "THAT'S THE POINT SUCKER!!!"
I had a ela state test a few months ago and the fox and the crow fables was on there and it asked " what was the moral of the story " zo I just wrote down what James said and ot full credit! Thanks James!
Because no one asked I'm going to say what I thing the morals of the stories are... Because I want to 1) ( the one with the mice?) People would rather live in misery then sacrifice themselves for others 2) (the talking horse (?) ) do things that are good just to be good not to cover up bad things you've done 3) (goose ) don't be greedy 4) (bat that can't fly) just say who you really are and be truthful 5) (cheese crow) don't fall for false flattery I don't know why I did that but you read all the way down here so thanks... I guess
Cheese Cat I would say it was more like this: 1) the Mice, things are easier said than done. 2) the Malnourished Horse, don't be selfish and only do things for yourself. 3) the Golden Goose Eggs, yeah this one is right, don't be greedy AND be patient and wait for the good to come (I guess?). 4) the Bird-Mouse Bat, this one is teaching you that you CAN lie, but obviously that's not right so maybe we're just looking at it's wrong. It's not teaching you to be truthful because that bat was shown to be the "good guy". So it's trying to teach us that sometimes you have to lie to protect yourself, BUT ONLY SOMETIMES, AND ONLY IN DIRE SITUATIONS. 5) the Dumb Crow, I mean, flattery is nice and you should always believe that you are amazing, but ALWAYS see that if you're talking to someone sketchy, like stranger danger or something. 6) the Commenter and the Replier, if you believe someone is wrong, calmly disagree with them and share your thoughts in an orderly manner.
Cheese Cat I heard a similar one to the fox and the crow with the same characters but the crow is on top of some grape vines and the fox is complimenting the crow and asking for some grapes but when the crow says no the fox says something along the lines of " i bet they were sour anyways"

Lol, I did the topic Aesop’s Fables: Breaking Barriers in History for NHD last year, and I was just mentally lecturing everyone on Aesop for the entire video. Fun fact- Aesop was set free for being literate (originally he was a slave because he was crippled), so after he was set free, almost 80,000 other slaves became literate so they too could be set free. Greece became one of the first countries to have as low of a slave count as they did, because of that. He also had a lot of long term impact on how we tell stories today, and what kinds of morals we teach children. I mean, almost everybody knows the story of the tortoise and the hare, and the fox and the grape. Aesop also lived from around (I believe, it’s been a while since I actually looked at the project since this was last year) 625, and died in 654 (BC). He was thrown off a cliff in Delphi for supposed blasphemy- although some people argue that it was for theft instead. I love NHD, if you couldn’t tell.
in 2nd grade my class performed belling the cat, and I was the mouse that said we should put a bell on the cat. (the moral is that things are easier said than done.)

Theres this one fable about a chicken, cow, pig and goat. (i think)
So the chicken is making a cake and he asks the other animals 'hey wanna help'
they say 'we're too lazy'
the chicken is like 'oh fine'
and he starts making it and he asks the cow 'hey man can you help me make this part of the cake'

then he moves on to the next step and asks the pig, 'hey man can you help with this part of the cake'
the pig says 'no thanks'
then he goes to the next step
he asks the goat 'hey can you help with this part of the cake'

No no, youre wrong, the moral of the story is, "drop the mic when you dont want to do it".
I like how you called Pacific Rim a fable. 😂
my favorite will always be the bat and the scorpion.
The bat sees a scorpion drowning in a lake.
so the bat swoops in and saves the scorpion,
but the scorpion stings the bat! and the bat says "I tried to save you! now we'll both die!"
so the scorpion says "THAT'S THE POINT SUCKER!!!"
That is incredibly nihilistic and cynical.

that's why it's beautiful
why do all of these fables have atleast two animals interacting with each other?
