this synth is capable of some incredible sounds- had it for less than a week and I'm able to make legitinate sounding moog style basses. But the FM is the secret weapon. It sounds absolutely crazy.
Nord 2x will work as a midi controller. The don't have USB so you'll need something to convert the standard midi to usb, like an audio or midi interface.
so the Nord2 has some built in FX? or is it the release that makes it sound like this? Also, will these patches sound the same on Nord 1 and how do you install, sysex dump or someway that will overwrite all other sounds? Noob here, just got my N1 :)
Its a release and som external effects No, they will not sounds the same and actually they are not compatible. N2 having much more deep architecture than N1 and many new functions.
I have one. About 10 years old. Big sound. Even bigger when adding effects. But the keyboard is cheap, shit, horrible, a noisy plastic toy, believe me. If anyone buy one choose the rack version with another huge master keyboard.
Hi !! these Patches are really amazing... I have some problems with the MIDI in my NL2X, 2 sounds are joined on channel 1 and I have to change channels to perceive only one... If you have any idea how to solve this, I would be very grateful Greetings from Chile LUIS / SINCRO

Nord 2x having bad synchronisation at all - lof &arp out of sync every time
