- Exclusive Documentary produced by @Birmz is Grime presented by the #enrtwins for ScarcityStudios
Baz Patterson Aka Zulu Baz described as one of the hardest men in Britain by some and infamous for his involvement in the Birmingham hooligan era of Football.
In this documentary he meets the EnR Twins to tell a bit of his story and everything he has had to overcome with a disability as a child (one eye )
And still going on to fight professionally in freestyle (early mma) and bodybuilding and even film appearances,The twins follow him as he helps Birmingham's homeless community and gives out food and clothes weekly with his wife and small team of volunteers .
This is his story in his words and documenting a time in Birmingham history that will never be forgotten and overcoming disability to still be held in high regard by fellow fighters and professionals and giving back to the community with all his work for the homeless.

I was a hooligan at Leeds in the 80s and was at Birmingham when we had the riot in 85and ended up homeless in 2000 in Leeds due to divorce and drugs alcohol etc but I fought back for my two kids , I came out of prison in 2017 and was determined to change for my kids ...Me and my son returned to watch Leeds again which was like having my family back..I’m 50 years old now my kids are now 16 and 18 and are back in my life , life’s good coming up 5 years sober and would love to go into schools and educate them about the dangers in life..I’ve traveled all over the world when I was younger and have some great life experience from the very top to the very bottom..I’m just glad I had the strength to get off the streets man..☮️I regularly go into Leeds with sandwiches and hot coffee for the homeless and I haven’t got a pot to piss in myself, but it gives me pleasure helping these people cos when I was there I never got help just a kick in instead..Never walk past the homeless cos one day it could be one of your family or even yourself cos believe me when I was at the top never would I thought years later I would be sleeping under a bridge...Please please don’t judge , respect big baz would love to talk to this guy top man ..Total respect baz
Barrington has died this morning mate... rip baz
🤣🤣🤣 how’s no one heard of you “ you gomper
@@amigomac5790 never heard of me eh cause I don’t talk shit and never said I was something which I wasn’t you pleb
Wanna come see me hard man come
Very well said mate, exactly what i would say, could of been me too, can happen to anyone believe me, life can be hard i just recently lost my son 31 to alcohol abuse & i wasn't there when he passed no family was, not just because of Covid but my phone had run out of charge & my partner accidentally turned hers off which she kept beside her constantly, what will haunt me is he was trying to get in touch just before he died & even text im getting scared now like he knew he was dying as his organs failed & he went into cardiac arrest, i had to pick myself & my partner & younger son off the floor, if i never had them i would of either hit the bottle or killed myself as the grief is unbearable, i always say being strong mentally is more important than physically because if the mind goes the rest will soon follow, never look down on anyone in the street as it could happen to anyone & they all have a story & you don't know the shit they've gone through 👏
He’s an old-school hard man, you can also sees a good man at heart God bless him 🙏🏼👊🏻👊🏻
When I was fighting say 30 Brighton v 30 brums they’re top boy was a black geezer called cuddles this was 1984 and I’m 100% sure.
He would of never started fighting if he didn't get bullied for his eye it's society that turned him to voilence
Nice Bloke hard as nails .
@@mudface5339 100% but he didn't put up with it.
Unfortunately he couldn’t see you that well😊
All this man ever did was give. In the ring he gave it his all, on the door he gave people the opportunity to walk away from trouble, and if they didn't he gave them a slap! He gave advice to those that needed it, and he gave to the homeless. All this giving and he never expected anything in return. It's no surprise to read all the heartfelt messages and media reports across the nation, all expressing their love and condolences to the family of a very special man. My deepest sympathy goes to his family. R.I.P Baz god bless🙏
Hats off to them for helping the homeless..
Never turn your nose up at the unfortunate cause you dont know what's round the corner...real talk
A lot of homeless are all druggys who just beg up town no hard t get them selfs a hostel for them to hopefully change their life’s but instead they would rather chill round town centres smokin spice etc.
@@bigblackdave6030 dont mean you should look down on them...mr perfect yeah🙄
THUNDER & joy you obviously live a sheltered life I have no respect for druggys up town there may be a 1 percent of homeless that are legit in a crap place but not where I’m from same faces different day they deserve to be executed they are a drain to society
Yessss I can vouch for that, never years ago when I was at the top thought years later I would be living on the streets on three occasions..Never ever judge cos it could be your son brother or sister next..☮️❤️
@@bigblackdave6030 a bit like yourself then , I hope one day it happens to one of your close friends and family then you wouldn’t spout off ..🤫🤫🤫
Gotta love this guy, huge and can handle himself but treats everyone with respect and courtesy

"Put down the knife and Glove up." - Real talk!
My good friend over 45 years, real good guy I work in a school 4 kids that have been kicked out of mainstream schools. I've had Baz give up his time several times 2 come in & motivate them about life, telling them about his life the good, bad & the ugly but then he goes on to encourage them to change their ways, listen to their parents & get an education so they can succeed in life. Big up Baz friend 4 life.
God bless zulu and is beautiful wife for helping homeless peoples
As if anybody can't tell kids to stay in school and stay out of trouble...a homeless junkie on the corner can tell kids that...your local baker can tell kids that. A baker being a far better example for kids.
@@forestdwellerresearch6593 your correct, but how many kids would actually listen ??? We're not talking about regular straight A kids we're talking about kids that are at high risk of being involved in crime & violence . Have a gr8 day i've been at the Blues with Baz, grown men listen to him
Big up everyone involved in the homeless project. All love ❤
True legend.
R.I.P Zulu.

Big Baz he had a top firm back in the 80s. I used to run with Man City. Not many firms came at us like they did. Man City, West Ham and Birmingham was the 1st mixed firms in England

Top man RIP big lad many a good night in Coventry Holyhead and Wallace condolences to your family and friends
Like the fact you let the guy talk... interesting and he seems pretty humble for what is clearly a very intimidating man.
People talking down about his past, when he is trying to help the homeless. Sad times
Just the way that it is. Ones past is not easily forgotten.
@@thegroove2000 May be not, but I'm guessing half the ppl commenting haven't even meet the guy.

One eye baz was a legend on the fight scene proper sound guy who helped the homeless read a couple of baz books very good read R.I.P BAZ
used to drink in the fox and goose when it was a zulu pub from 2004 nice guy ,did not have much time to talk to him as i was always cleaning the pub or glass collecting or working on the bar, very well liked person ,people always respected him.
Our Baz, great vid 'KRO'
For me Baz is easily the Top Boy, of all other Top Boys from every other club in the land. Hard as fuck and with just the one eye to boot 😉. That says it all you just can't argue with that. He was/is a main Zulu Warrior and on their day the Blues could match anyone. And I support West Brom!
Respect where respect is due, fuck me he even reached a high level in MMA etc and with such a disadvantage too. A true hard Man.
A legend great guy great personality trained under him at Wako squad training
Levi Benjamin seen him at a charity football match at my local football club, he’s an absolute tank in real life lol
