Not working for me. Every time I try to move an part, it disappears or moves it way far away from where I'm trying to move it. No matter how much I struggle to move the part, it will not move where I need it. edit: there is a button called Working plane setup. Clicking on that gave me the option to show which plane the grid was attached to. Clicking on the correct plane allowed me to move the part where I needed it.
Thank you for this tip. Very helpful. Now how to move one oject made up of 2 bodies at the same time? Let's assume you copy the object and now have 2 identical objects made up of 2 bodies. How to you move the object as a whole instead of each body individually? I asked on a freecad forum and got nothing but arrogant and snarky answers. Definitely not a helpful group of people there if you're a beginner. The worst comment I had was "take a course and you won't have these questions".

Honestly if you need to make a video on how to move parts in your software maybe you just need to make your software more intuitive
