They may be using a higher calibre to counter the androids durability but the fact they have an RPG7 as a rocket launcher in a NATO military shows they probably didn't think that far into it

One thing that really bothered me about the game was the choice to sacrifice Markus or not. I sacrificed him during the rally, figuring it would help with public opinion (which it did). But then North became leader and did LITERALLY the opposite of everything that Markus stood for. The game forced me to watch as she chose an aggressive route, even though I sacrificed a character in the name of peaceful protest. It felt like a design flaw. I was forced into the bad ending for andriods because I was commited to peaceful protest. I'm still salty about it.
If you save the android at the Cyberlife parts raid and take him with you, he will sacrifice himself to rescue Markus during that rally if you pick "Sacrifice Self." Basically, Markus walks up to the line with his arms outstretched as normal and gets shot, but then the supply worker android runs in and attacks the cops that come to finish Markus off. The other rallying androids drag Markus away while the rescued one dies.

So naturally, if a leader dies then someone who shares his ideaology should take his place. So no, it's not my fault for not predicting that the only person in the game who opposed me would become leader. That's called a design flaw. Well, there are the positives and negatives to androids have AU, and this game showed it. You can have empathetic androids, and you can have androids that can act violently if you provoke them in intentionally or unintentionally.
Best violence ending (MY OPINION) Kara and Alice get captured to get saved by Markus. Markus wins. Connor becomes deviant and gets the androids from the cyber life tower.

Yes as long as he wasn't shot by the drone. This is the best possible outcome for the camp where Markus leads the revolution to free the camp so Kara doesn't have to sacrifice anyone to escape.

Yep! In my first playthrough Kara and Luther got shot by the Coast Guard, resulting in Luther saying a few deep last words, Kara being wounded jumping into the frozen river to push the broken boat to the Canadian shores before shutting down with her and Alice crying. That made me weep. My hard work trying to bring them to freedom, lead to a devastating end. 😭😭

The actor for President Warren (AKA Hillary Clinton) is horrible. You can clearly hear her Irish accent and it's very distracting. I don't blame her as much as I blame the person who picked her.
Omg Kara's story always brings me to tears. Nooo they just can't die in any of my playthroughs. They always have to live. Kara, Alice, Luthor and Jerry need to be a big happy family for me to smile at the end.
I was really lucky and got this on this on my second playthrough on accident. (Not lucky I got Kara, Alice and Luther in that camp.) I choked while trying to save Luther and got caught. Then I screwed up and got Jerry killed for nothing. But at least got to Alice thanks to the scarred androids. I got lucky because this just so happened to be my Revolution playthrough. I lost my shit when they got saved last minute.
Cory Raymond in my first play through I also choked on sneaking up, but sacrificed Luther to escape the yard with Alice. I also had Markus die with his people. Made Conner stay machine but die because I chose "run" and let Hank kill me on purpose for staying a machine. I was doing so well with only one Conner death and good decisions, but Crossroads fucked me. Edit: I EVEN HAD SIMON LIVE!
Then you see Alice at Markus's speech by herself and a credit scene plays of Kara waking up in a junkyard filled with androids that were killed in the camps and says Alice's name. Then shows her walking across a street. She stops to see a magazine of a YK500 which is Alice's model
I think he's still too shy and unsure if he is allowed to join into something so intimate and "good" with no repercussions. I like to imagine that this is another milestone for his character developement and self-acceptance in the future when he is allowing himselfs to fully be part of the family, maybe encouraged by Alice to join in a group hug!
This made me realize how hard it is for humans to accept someone who just wants equal rights, and to live in freedom. We're so selfish. Those deviants literally have a mind of their own, they can think and act without someone commanding them. Just Like humans, and yet humans are still hecking assholes.
I think it makes for a really interesting philosophical debate. One one hand, androids aren't technically alive - they were just made to perfectly replicate human emotions. But on the other hand, you could argue that if they are intelligent enough to have empathy, it could mean that they really are alive.
Why won't they just let the Android's be free. People abuse them and they think the Android just turned evil and then people kill them. All there trying to do is be free. And when a Android has emotional feelings, some people call that a MALFUNCTION. How is that a malfunction. If the Android had feeling's then that means that the creators programed some of them to have feelings.

I actually got the ending where Kara got captured (I screwed up) Markus did the revolution, despite pacifist playthrough, so that he can save Kara, with Connor becoming a deviant and awakening all the androids. I have watched some gameplays and alternate endings. While my ending is not the best, if you think about it, it is actually good and meaningful too for Kara, Alice and Luther, and the other androids/deviants. If you think about it, Detroit has fallen to android hands, which means androids will have likely made Detroit their home (plus, with connor awakening all androids, the city would be filled with thousands of androids while the humans flee). And with Kara saved, why would she and Alice go to Canada then? she can actually just stay safe in detroit while it belonged to the android population, that's what they actually wanted in the beginning, a new and safe life. And thus, she wouldn't need to steal the tickets (in my opinion: if you steal the tickets, you would have left the family suffering in the cold for yourselves, they had a baby too). And nonetheless, I think it is more realistic that Markus underwent all the pacifist and peaceful playthrough, only to make a revolution in the end. If you think about it, the androids demanded peace and freedom for the androids, only to be targeted as a threat by the government (despite public opinion) and have many androids killed and sent to camps for the matter, I feel like it would have been a reasonable ending if Markus tried going the peaceful route at first, and decided to go for a revolution in the end knowing that humans and the governments still see the androids as a threat, a machine, and their slave. Plus, another detail, if you went the peaceful protest, the president said "And so 'perhaps' the time has come for us to 'consider the possibility' that androids are a new form of intelligent life". But if you went for the revolution path, the president said, "Humanity 'must' face a new reality, the emergence of another life form, with whom we 'must' share this planet". It felt like the revolution incited her to give them their freedom, or they will not cease hostilities. It may not have been the best ending, but at least, I don't feel guilty of receiving that ending on my first playthrough :)
Damn now that I think about it you're actually right it is a meaningful ending, plus either way revolution or protest you could still meet Hank at the post credits scene
That happened in my first playthrough. Somehow, I thought it would be smart to sneak in front of soldier. Markus started his revolution, defeated connor, and free the camp.

Eventhough this ending means a civil war, it's one of the most mesmerizing and beautiful endings you may see in this game! Not only you were able to save Kara & Alice but they're both together with their people..
I played twice. Everytime I choose this ending. The camp scene was so shocking. And I think for Kara and Alice the best ending is stay with their people. Btw great video man.
You guys probably have not paid attention, but when Kara turns off her skin, the whole game focuses on that, the way she looks at herself and how her nature changed is something phenomenal. She felt naked, she felt scared, and she was shocked and destroyed because every dignity was taken from her. It made me super sad.
This is my favourite ending, not because it's "good", it's literally a war, but because it's the one that I think is more realistic and makes more sense along with the ones where everyone in Jericho and the camps die, which from a narrative point of view are really unsatisfying. The peaceful endings where Markus and the others don't die are just fairy tales.
i hoped that the stories would somehow cross, i know that they kind of did but i wish that we got to know kara, markus and connor and then they would fight the humans as a trio. that would’ve been amazing, i honestly wished they had more scenes together. those three together would’ve been epic.
I recon kara is ra9, even tho Marcus has the actions. if you go watch Tec demo by quantic dream made in 2012 it shows kara being made, but she shows emotion towards being merchandise so almost gets dismantled but the guy overseeing the manufacture decides to let her go with the other robots. also as markus when you go through the android dump kara model is there and shes singing the same japanise song she sings in the tec demo. So perhaps the kara you play isn't ra9 but the origional kara first showed emotion
I have to say, this Game seems to have all it needs to be as EPIC as Witcher 3 was. The only difference is that it is not including a Sandbox like Enviroment. Storytelling and the different Endings make it overcome that however easily.

When it comes to the recycling center, I like the ending where Kara escapes with Luther and Alice; only because when they reach safety, Luther gets in on the hugging action (it serious bugged me that he could grow so close to Kara and Alice to the point that he considered them family; but never got to hug either of them in other endings where all three made it to safety).

In my first playthrough Kara and Luther got shot by the Coast Guard, resulting in Luther saying a few deep last words, Kara being wounded jumping into the frozen river to push the broken boat to the Canadian shores before shutting down with her and Alice crying. That made me weep. My hard work trying to bring them to freedom, lead to a devastating end. 😭😭

I was really lucky and got this on this on my second playthrough on accident. (Not lucky I got Kara, Alice and Luther in that camp.) I choked while trying to save Luther and got caught. Then I screwed up and got Jerry killed for nothing. But at least got to Alice thanks to the scarred androids.
I got lucky because this just so happened to be my Revolution playthrough. I lost my shit when they got saved last minute.
I wonder what happens if Kara leaves the camp and Alice behind, then Markus liberates the camp.
Cory Raymond in my first play through I also choked on sneaking up, but sacrificed Luther to escape the yard with Alice.
I also had Markus die with his people.
Made Conner stay machine but die because I chose "run" and let Hank kill me on purpose for staying a machine.
I was doing so well with only one Conner death and good decisions, but Crossroads fucked me.

I think he's still too shy and unsure if he is allowed to join into something so intimate and "good" with no repercussions. I like to imagine that this is another milestone for his character developement and self-acceptance in the future when he is allowing himselfs to fully be part of the family, maybe encouraged by Alice to join in a group hug!

I think it makes for a really interesting philosophical debate. One one hand, androids aren't technically alive - they were just made to perfectly replicate human emotions. But on the other hand, you could argue that if they are intelligent enough to have empathy, it could mean that they really are alive.

I actually got the ending where Kara got captured (I screwed up) Markus did the revolution, despite pacifist playthrough, so that he can save Kara, with Connor becoming a deviant and awakening all the androids.
I have watched some gameplays and alternate endings. While my ending is not the best, if you think about it, it is actually good and meaningful too for Kara, Alice and Luther, and the other androids/deviants.
If you think about it, Detroit has fallen to android hands, which means androids will have likely made Detroit their home (plus, with connor awakening all androids, the city would be filled with thousands of androids while the humans flee). And with Kara saved, why would she and Alice go to Canada then? she can actually just stay safe in detroit while it belonged to the android population, that's what they actually wanted in the beginning, a new and safe life. And thus, she wouldn't need to steal the tickets (in my opinion: if you steal the tickets, you would have left the family suffering in the cold for yourselves, they had a baby too).
And nonetheless, I think it is more realistic that Markus underwent all the pacifist and peaceful playthrough, only to make a revolution in the end. If you think about it, the androids demanded peace and freedom for the androids, only to be targeted as a threat by the government (despite public opinion) and have many androids killed and sent to camps for the matter, I feel like it would have been a reasonable ending if Markus tried going the peaceful route at first, and decided to go for a revolution in the end knowing that humans and the governments still see the androids as a threat, a machine, and their slave.
Plus, another detail, if you went the peaceful protest, the president said "And so 'perhaps' the time has come for us to 'consider the possibility' that androids are a new form of intelligent life". But if you went for the revolution path, the president said, "Humanity 'must' face a new reality, the emergence of another life form, with whom we 'must' share this planet". It felt like the revolution incited her to give them their freedom, or they will not cease hostilities.
It may not have been the best ending, but at least, I don't feel guilty of receiving that ending on my first playthrough :)
Damn now that I think about it you're actually right it is a meaningful ending, plus either way revolution or protest you could still meet Hank at the post credits scene

That happened in my first playthrough. Somehow, I thought it would be smart to sneak in front of soldier. Markus started his revolution, defeated connor, and free the camp.

Eventhough this ending means a civil war, it's one of the most mesmerizing and beautiful endings you may see in this game! Not only you were able to save Kara & Alice but they're both together with their people..
I played twice. Everytime I choose this ending. The camp scene was so shocking. And I think for Kara and Alice the best ending is stay with their people. Btw great video man.

You guys probably have not paid attention, but when Kara turns off her skin, the whole game focuses on that, the way she looks at herself and how her nature changed is something phenomenal. She felt naked, she felt scared, and she was shocked and destroyed because every dignity was taken from her. It made me super sad.

This is my favourite ending, not because it's "good", it's literally a war, but because it's the one that I think is more realistic and makes more sense along with the ones where everyone in Jericho and the camps die, which from a narrative point of view are really unsatisfying. The peaceful endings where Markus and the others don't die are just fairy tales.

i hoped that the stories would somehow cross, i know that they kind of did but i wish that we got to know kara, markus and connor and then they would fight the humans as a trio. that would’ve been amazing, i honestly wished they had more scenes together. those three together would’ve been epic.

I recon kara is ra9, even tho Marcus has the actions. if you go watch Tec demo by quantic dream made in 2012 it shows kara being made, but she shows emotion towards being merchandise so almost gets dismantled but the guy overseeing the manufacture decides to let her go with the other robots. also as markus when you go through the android dump kara model is there and shes singing the same japanise song she sings in the tec demo. So perhaps the kara you play isn't ra9 but the origional kara first showed emotion
I have to say, this Game seems to have all it needs to be as EPIC as Witcher 3 was. The only difference is that it is not including a Sandbox like Enviroment. Storytelling and the different Endings make it overcome that however easily.

this was my first ending that i got with no knowledge on the game outside of what i experienced but connor was alive, I am happy i kept them all alive! :D
I still don’t understand how none of the humans in this game seem to see that this was a fight for freedom... I think/hope that in real life people would be more empathetic and would support them. Kara and Alice were literally crying for goodness sake. (Can’t deny that I cried really hard too lol). Humans must be blind in Detroit or something...
It's like real life: if mass media says someone is "bad", that's it. We are in a crusade/support against these "bad" people/androids/whatever as media dictates. Especially if that is main line on TV.

When it comes to the recycling center, I like the ending where Kara escapes with Luther and Alice; only because when they reach safety, Luther gets in on the hugging action (it serious bugged me that he could grow so close to Kara and Alice to the point that he considered them family; but never got to hug either of them in other endings where all three made it to safety).
