It's always been popular along with the entire DWM Concert. Jackie was she 10, going on 11 when performed in 2011. Since then, the vids were posted in vast duplicates. The constant cycle of UA-cam removing them, poster putting them up, UA-cam removing again went round & round. Just last month, some of these have returned (thank God). Shamefully, it gives many the impression people aren't interested without a morsel of views. They don't realize these have been posted (again) LESS than a month! With most other Artists, they stay up forever, collecting hundreds of millions of views. How come nobody gets itchy over that?

David Foster, Jackie's producer on "Dream With Me", once said, "There's no one else like her, and there's no stopping her." Jackie is absolutely exquisite in this performance - and she is still bowling us over today.
I am wishing she was still young. I haven't been to a recent concert, but it seems like with late teenage yrs, some self consciousness comes in , thereby losing some of the depth into the emotions that before had no block to them.
I agree with you Sunnie. Much of her "late" work hasn't come close to impressing me like she did then. It wasn't only her age. People have commented on the astounding beauty of the singing, not knowing she was only a child. She does sing lovely now, but her song choices, styles & various directions she's been choosing in her career aren't reinventing her. Masked Kitty was one thing, but learning that was Jackie actually turned me off. Much too versatility & mixed styles. That proved she can sing it all, but master of only 1. R Gold has been a loyal Fan since the beginning & I've always enjoyed reading his comments. She needs to refocus & follow where her Gift has taken her, otherwise her loyal Fans from her childhood remain concerned, 😟 if not perplexed. Not a good place to be in a music career.
I had the good fortune of seeing Jackie up close during her back-to-back concerts in Indiana-Ohio, November 2019. Jackie was in fine voice, very confident, showed astounding stage presence. She not only sang songs from previous albums but also nearly every number from her new album, *The Debut*. When she was young, Jackie gave us a dozen or so songs per performance. Now we get two dozen or more songs at each venue. More Jackie for the buck. And the vocal tone is very rich, mature.
So beautiful, really one of young Jackie's standout performances (there are so many). Although I cannot understand a word of it, I never get tired of listening to it. What an amazing creation Jackie is!

A very beautiful song, indeed! I have dubbed Jackie, The Voice Of The Millennia! Because a voice like Jackie's does only come along so rarely. Don't get me wrong. There are many great young female singers out there who are also angelic. But even Heaven's choir has to have a great soloist. And Jackie is that soloist! One thing about Jackie is that it would nearly impossible to produce an album of greatest performances because they would all have to be included!

From the onset of her career, Jackie has been harassed and haunted by a particular troll whose mind has gone off the rails. This person has set up multiple UA-cam accounts, registered several dislikes per video, posted nasty remarks and even posted phony replies in agreement with his/her posts. Long story short: the occasional dislikes and negative comments should be ignored by Jackie fans - enjoy the music and the positive messages.

As Jackie grew up so did her voice.To my opinion,although inexperienced here at the age of 11,she performed with a base characteristic that is now,Not a part of her voice,anymore due to her becoming an adult.Furthermore,the passion that she shows and the expressions on her face during this performance shows that she passionately ''lives'' every note of every song even though this one,is in another language(Italian).There is Nothing better than a Child giving everything on something that she Adores!
Here her being was grounded in the simplicity of faith giving her strength and confidence. Later she was saturated by the nuttiness of the material world and became a victim of idealism and progressive emptiness

Today in 2020, Jackie Evancho remains the most capable singer in the world. She speaks about the past ten years of her life as if they have never existed. She still lacks confidence seemingly unaware about all that she has accomplished over the years. She has never sang for fame or fortune until the recent past few years. What caused her to practice singing at the age of 4 years? She and her older brother Jacob competed with each other over many years to attain the same reward. What was it ? I hope she eventually understands what she needs and finds personal contentment. Jacqueline, don't skate away from your problems. Skate toward them to understand them and resolves them.
Jackie didn't begin singing until age 7 when she was inspired by the movie, "Phantom of the Opera. Every knowledgeable fan knows that. "Singing around the house', as she said, her mother heard her and asked if she'd like to enter talent contests. Thus began her tour of talent shows and posting videos on UA-cam at age 8. She then met David foster at age 9 to audition for his talent show and on to AGT at age 10. Her older brother sang a few duets with Jackie, the last being her Music of the Movies concert when she was 12, but didn't go any further with singing in public. She definitely is NOT "skating away from her problems". ( I got the pun). Haven't you seen her candid interviews (at least 2) revealing her struggles with child stardom and the unfortunate consequences? She's hitting them head on, determined to overcome them as best she can and wanting to be an inspiration for others. She's been very open about her insecurities and fears and she is being counseled/treated/advised by a professional in dealing with her difficulties. Furthermore, I know you heard her interview on The Masked Singer speaking of what that experience meant to her in finding a path to what she wants.

She didn't appear to be aware of all her achievements during her past TEN years. Even the ignorant judges on TMS knew nothing about her performances during the past TEN years. Months before TMS, she explored singing modern pop at Feinsteins 54 and at the musical "Get Jack". She exhibited great legs and and correct emotions for the gigs. Of coarse the TMS judges and perhaps you know nothing about what she did. I suspect that she would rather sing classic pop and modern pop than the light rock genres. See what she does on Instagram. Want to know about her dark emotional problems. She tells everyone in a clear manner what's going on in her head on the second CD of "Two Hearts". She said as the lyrics came to her that it was a kind therapy understanding how she thinks. What transpired with Jacqueline and Jacob is a very guarded secret. What did they compete for? I know what it was. Neither had any interest in fame or fortune during the early years. These years are the only pieces of a puzzle I have yet to define. At the age of 6, she had her tonsils removed explaining she was having problems eating. I suspect the greater problem was that she was singing a lot after memorizing lyrics to classical songs. She said prior to this that she sounded like a cartoon character and some have told her that her voice sounded better after the operation. Can you imagine what Jacob had to deal with trying to emulate the voice of a classical male singer with the voice of a child. He is two years older than Jack. The narrative constructed about how she began singing at the age of 8 is crap to avoid any legal ramifications regarding child abuse. The Evanchos' have taught that lying about certain things is alright. They are correct. Jack has been a story teller and uses that tool to this day. On Facebook, she's been retaining a black brick wall. I look at it as if fantasy exist on the side of the wall we see and reality exist on the opposite side of the wall. Her reality comes in a peacemeal manner. I see her on top of the wall with a fishing rod type of devise pulling up pieces of realty. She lets what she finds out to the public in very small peacemeal ways. Look for them. It's up to anyone with a comprehensive base of knowledge about her to put the realty in a proper context. When Jack accepts the realities she has exposed and becomes capable of using them correctly, many of her emotional problems will be diminished. She has made great strides in moving her body and exhibiting emotion.
She’s finding her way. Child fame seems to always have a price. She’s a survivor and a special soul. Be thankful for all the beautiful singing she has given us since age 10 and give her some grace and love.

I have just watched Josh Groban then Bocceli sing this and it makes her performance even more incredible. They are mature, seasoned performers. She was 11.
They could take all best man made instruments in the world press them all together to make one instrument then audition all the best players in the world and narrow it down to one person to play the instrument an Jackie would still sound better

Well... it only took eight years, but I'm very happy to see it finally on video. I don't think I am alone in believing that this is the most beautiful song that Jackie has ever performed. That was truly a magic night, full of the amazing beauty of her singing. 💖
They've been taking down lots of Jackie's videos since 2013...all my favs. This explains why her viewer count is so low on this & many other DWM songs. Back then, the views were in the millions. Idk who thought removing them was a great idea? Other artists don't/didn't have the same problem & in comparison, look like they're killing it on total views.
I hope you stick with this genre and don't go "pop" or worse yet ... "rap". This is the kind of genre a listener can close their eyes to and just escape into something more beautiful and with an artistry of a master it transcends into something not simply beautiful but magical as well. My opinion isn't worth much I suppose but that's how I see it.

I agree with you. She still delights me with her singing yet her only competitor is herself in her early teens. It wasn’t just her voice but the classical and spiritual genre unlikely embraced by that early age that made her one and only. Alas those angelic stage is gone but luckily preserved in many recordings. Also I like her mezzo-soprano voice before the change to soprano.

This type of performance can't be learned it is only natural ability. There are many young singers who have tried to sing these songs, but no-one i say again no-one can or has reached the level of Jackie. She is that good. she performs from the heart and mind, and creates masterpieces that nobody can touch.

Today in 2020, Jackie Evancho remains the most capable singer in the world. She speaks about the past ten years of her life as if they have never existed. She still lacks confidence seemingly unaware about all that she has accomplished over the years. She has never sang for fame or fortune until the recent past few years. What caused her to practice singing at the age of 4 years? She and her older brother Jacob competed with each other over many years to attain the same reward. What was it ? I hope she eventually understands what she needs and finds personal contentment. Jacqueline, don't skate away from your problems. Skate toward them to understand them and resolves them.
Jackie didn't begin singing until age 7 when she was inspired by the movie, "Phantom of the Opera. Every knowledgeable fan knows that. "Singing around the house', as she said, her mother heard her and asked if she'd like to enter talent contests. Thus began her tour of talent shows and posting videos on UA-cam at age 8. She then met David foster at age 9 to audition for his talent show and on to AGT at age 10. Her older brother sang a few duets with Jackie, the last being her Music of the Movies concert when she was 12, but didn't go any further with singing in public.
She definitely is NOT "skating away from her problems". ( I got the pun). Haven't you seen her candid interviews (at least 2) revealing her struggles with child stardom and the unfortunate consequences? She's hitting them head on, determined to overcome them as best she can and wanting to be an inspiration for others. She's been very open about her insecurities and fears and she is being counseled/treated/advised by a professional in dealing with her difficulties. Furthermore, I know you heard her interview on The Masked Singer speaking of what that experience meant to her in finding a path to what she wants.
@@cl9786 You're wrong. I won't repeat all the information I've written about this subject matter. I find her commentary on TMS more than a little weird. She didn't appear to be aware of all her achievements during her past TEN years. Even the ignorant judges on TMS knew nothing about her performances during the past TEN years. Months before TMS, she explored singing modern pop at Feinsteins 54 and at the musical "Get Jack". She exhibited great legs and and correct emotions for the gigs. Of coarse the TMS judges and perhaps you know nothing about what she did. I suspect that she would rather sing classic pop and modern pop than the light rock genres. See what she does on Instagram. Want to know about her dark emotional problems. She tells everyone in a clear manner what's going on in her head on the second CD of "Two Hearts". She said as the lyrics came to her that it was a kind therapy understanding how she thinks. What transpired with Jacqueline and Jacob is a very guarded secret. What did they compete for? I know what it was. Neither had any interest in fame or fortune during the early years. These years are the only pieces of a puzzle I have yet to define. At the age of 6, she had her tonsils removed explaining she was having problems eating. I suspect the greater problem was that she was singing a lot after memorizing lyrics to classical songs. She said prior to this that she sounded like a cartoon character and some have told her that her voice sounded better after the operation. Can you imagine what Jacob had to deal with trying to emulate the voice of a classical male singer with the voice of a child. He is two years older than Jack. The narrative constructed about how she began singing at the age of 8 is crap to avoid any legal ramifications regarding child abuse. The Evanchos' have taught that lying about certain things is alright. They are correct. Jack has been a story teller and uses that tool to this day. On Facebook, she's been retaining a black brick wall. I look at it as if fantasy exist on the side of the wall we see and reality exist on the opposite side of the wall. Her reality comes in a peacemeal manner. I see her on top of the wall with a fishing rod type of devise pulling up pieces of realty. She lets what she finds out to the public in very small peacemeal ways. Look for them. It's up to anyone with a comprehensive base of knowledge about her to put the realty in a proper context. When Jack accepts the realities she has exposed and becomes capable of using them correctly, many of her emotional problems will be diminished. She has made great strides in moving her body and exhibiting emotion.

Well... it only took eight years, but I'm very happy to see it finally on video. I don't think I am alone in believing that this is the most beautiful song that Jackie has ever performed. That was truly a magic night, full of the amazing beauty of her singing. 💖

They've been taking down lots of Jackie's videos since 2013...all my favs. This explains why her viewer count is so low on this & many other DWM songs. Back then,
the views were in the millions. Idk who thought removing them was a great idea? Other artists don't/didn't have the same problem & in comparison, look like they're killing it on total views.

At 1:21 you can see the teleprompter in front of her. In other views it's appears to be about 10 feet away at the edge of the stage.
I hope you stick with this genre and don't go "pop" or worse yet ... "rap". This is the kind of genre a listener can close their eyes to and just escape into something more beautiful and with an artistry of a master it transcends into something not simply beautiful but magical as well. My opinion isn't worth much I suppose but that's how I see it.

I agree with you. She still delights me with her singing yet her only competitor is herself in her early teens. It wasn’t just her voice but the classical and spiritual genre unlikely embraced by that early age that made her one and only. Alas those angelic stage is gone but luckily preserved in many recordings. Also I like her mezzo-soprano voice before the change to soprano.

This type of performance can't be learned it is only natural ability. There are many young singers who have tried to sing these songs, but no-one i say again no-one can or has reached the level of Jackie. She is that good. she performs from the heart and mind, and creates masterpieces that nobody can touch.
