Luis Miguel was still 14 years old in that festival, he turned 15 two months later. He competed with the adults, finishing in second place. It is not a cover, Luis Miguel is the original singer of Noi ragazzi di oggi. The song was composed by Toto Cotugno for Luis Miguel to sing it in San Remo.
