Crizal is not durable, very easily gets scratches. Better go for Zeiss.
Basic Crizal easy pro needs to be handled carefully. Crizal Sapphire is best in terms to avoid hairline scratches.

I'm from Bhubaneswar . I am using Prevencia for last 3-4 yrs. I have already 3-4 pairs of prevencia lenses ordered from different optical store, due to change in power there is no use of these lenses. One thing I noticed that most of the optical store didn't have adequate knowledge about the different lenses. Most of the time their target is how to get maximum profit from the buyer. Most of the time they recommended to purchase higher end lens. Thanks Optic Nest for bringing such knowledgeable videos. In future keep posting similar videos.

which brand do you recommend for a lens with 1.74 index and also would those lenses match the quality of vision & durability of crizal ?

If price is not a concern then Nikon lenses are best for your power. They cost more but great in quality of vision and thickness.

Sir, my right eye power is sph -1 and left eye is sph -0.75, cyl -0.5, axis 90 degree. Does FSV lens comes with these powers or i have to buy the sv rx lens? Please respond thanks.

Which is best for polarization and photochromic and night driving and day time dark lense to product from sunlight vision is requirement.
If you are looking for Polarized lenses for multiple usage then try Extra active transition lenses. Best suit for conditions.

Crizal coated lenses are patented products from Essilor. The raw material and coatings are done by the company.
Only basic and older technology coatings are given on their sister concern companies.
Else but best crizal products from Essilor Expert store and the quality is assured.

Sir here opticians in delhi are saying that crizal had stopped production of sapphire, sir is there any reason why they are doing so, as sapphire is the best coating of crizal, currently using prevencia but want to use saphire

I was already using progressive lenses of other company. My number changed and I want to switch to Essilor lenses.
Mu budget is near to 7000, I like to choose Crizal Rock lenses in Everyday and Active variants. My work is to make designs on computer and I want wide corridor lenses. Is my decision right to choose Crizal Rock?
Ok for budget but Varilux Progress with Crizal easy pro is even better because you are computer professional. There could be just Rs.1500/- more but product is much better.

crizal is just a overhyped brand , my provincia lens got scratches just after 2 weeks , no replacement by company .
Every brand is build based on features & benefits. So far Essilor has been an ethical company so be assured that their products are very good.
The company gives you one year warranty for manufacturing defects. But I am sure scratches are not covered.
Nevertheless you visit your optician and request him to speak to essilor company. You might get some help for getting it replaced.

You can get scratches just after 1 day in any lens if you mishandle it even it may be 50k price,
My sister using Lenskart lens and there is very minimum scratches even after 1 year,
