The Madrid of the Golden Age arrives to Shanghai. 23rd March 2024 - Spain

On the terrace of Miguel de Cervantes Library in Shanghai, we had the opportunity to immerse in the streets of Golden Age Madrid, inspired by Jan Van Kessel III's painting, "View of the Carrera de San Jerónimo and the Paseo del Prado with procession of floats", which belongs to Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum. At the same time, a program was broadcast live on Chinese social networks, about the before and now of that place that the painting includes with great richness of detail. With the presence of the Ambassador of Spain in China, Marta Betanzos, and the Director of the Museum, Evelio Acevedo.
