Yes, it is like you are having withdrawals. This is a terrible feeling when i dealt with it in 2016. I am so glad I made it through. I started remembering who i was before I met the Narc. That made me say, who do he think he messing with? LOL
My high school ex is a 44 year old loser who has all sorts of addictions pills, porn, sex, cigarettes, weed and who know what else. He also seems to always be with a drug addict and has tried to spin the block like I’m interested in a homeless unemployed addict. He says but I’m a nice guy🤣🤣🤣
I have dated some addicts and have found them all manipulative. They will steal from you and threaten to harm you if they don’t get their fix. I don’t know which comes first, the addiction or the tendencies.
The ex narc I was with had a cocaine drug problem and heavy drinking problem before I was involved with him. And you are right Quinn they abruptly stop when a human supply gets in the picture. But he couldn't stop the heavy drinking. And Quinn you are also right about them making us addicted to them. I had to put in a lot of hard work and effort to detox myself from that demon. I have been going to therapy and working on my healing journey. I have been also following Quinn since 2015! Big thanks to you Quinn!
So true and once they get bored there back at it. Nothing better than a new supply to a narc, the addiction to there new supply in the beginning is almost crazy to where most normal people will Be scared off, looking back on it I was desperate for attention cause the previous guy I was with didn’t give me that. I should of healed before dating again, learned that the hard way.
Yes he was my Drug and it took forever to get sober and heal my wounds of what drove me to him, Its sooooo heartbreaking when they ghost and discard you when they are ready for the next new drug(New supply)

My ex was a marijuana smoker and alcoholic. He had always seemed like he was on something else when I looked back on it in hindsight . However, I couldn't really put my finger on it, so i will say it was prescription pills . He had surgery and had a prescription for vicodins, but once healed, I think he continued to get prescriptions for it.
Vodka vodka vodka. Had no idea how much she was addicted. She was hiding it in soda cans, gym water bottles. Drinking before bed on a Tuesday night. Jesus. What a mess. I walked. Couldn’t deal with her erratic emotions
You're right about the methadone.... they also like Ice (crystal meth)... it makes them highly sexual... a terrible thing to see.... thank you Quinn for all the nuggets you give.... makes you realise that some things were not a dream.... God Bless!!!!

Yeah, I get that. A new human source is a great distraction and dopamine hit for them, but in my experience, their devices are always there. They just use them at the same time with the new supply and once the new supply begins to get more down they just use it more and more, but I think both are always present mine always with me from the start. It just got more and more obviously worse as our relationship deteriorated.
I had a weird narc that would play normal but I could see the delusional prick by far . Drinking use to be off term due to her out of control behaviour and when she leaves and my back is turn she is literally a different person and she tried to hide that for me and I already knew . I mean wild . She has a drinking problem and sex addictions . The whole time I'm just playing dumb like she is . Then I never had to ask a person is something wrong with you like a personality disorder , or mental disorder at that. That was the weirdest narc I've ever been around . But you'll never know just by looking at them .
