I think he was a semi quiet person and as B. Lotus says he understood Quavo's sassiness and his need for attention. He said it in his eulogy (Take never competed with me , he always let me go first). Take was the epitome of "unbothered". Set on the other hand doesn't require all of that so it leads to forming a different kind of genuine relationship when someone sees you as family and an equal.
You can always see the familial bond between the 3, but there was a special partnership and similarities I see with Set and Take. Quavo and Take had unk & phew respect & understanding type of bond. At the end of the day, THEY ALL LOVED EACH OTHER AND THEIR FAMILY.
