@Carowinds Heres a roller coaster concept for you. Blue Star Racers. This coaster is a GCI racing woodie similar to Thunder Road. It will be themed to airplanes racing each other. Packed with twists and turns, this coaster has a turnaround just like Thunder Roads. It will be located in Aeronautica Landing and will be painted with lots of blue colors.With some stars too. One side of the coaster will go backwards and the other will go fowards. It would be lovely if the trains were orange with the Thunder Road Restraints. The coaster(s) will cross over each other at least 3 times. Maybe it could be a multi launch or maybe it could have a launched lift hill like what lightning rod used to have. Anyways that's all about the coaster idea for now. Please consider it. Thanks!
Thunder road was a nightmare to maintain after paramount sold the park. It's the reason it was removed and copperhead strike was added. I'm all for keeping the classic Woodies alive and carowinds seems to be doing this with the retracting of hurler. That being said I much prefer the ride experience copperhead provides and would ride that over thunder road any day given the choice. Hot take, cool concept, but not ideal for the GP or coaster fanboys like me❤
I posted it hoping Carowinds would take into consideration at least the name idea or an element.. this coaster would probably only be loved by coaster enthusiast's lol
