Everyone seems to whine about how this map nerfs the Engineer multiple times but gives a load of perks for Spy. ...do you guys even play 2Fort? Turtle Engie nests are the most effective in this close-quarters map, Spies cannot sneak around due to said close-quarters; a stray spurt of fire, grenade or a rocket will reveal a Spy most of the time and can't offer much room to dance around. Hell, I expect this map to nerf Snipers a bit as well, since teams tend to pick Sniper a lot and a lot of them can make exiting your own territory really hard (not impossible)
Ok before I read the rest of that, it ain't difficult to go spy and to sap all their buildings. If you have a heavy he can hide while you get the engineer to follow you out, the heavy shoots the engie and we all know how that works. Then just go in and sap while the heavy gives you some cover from the 2nd engineer. Even if there's 3 or 4 then just get 2-3 spies, a pryo and a medic. Yes they are kinda difficult to take down but not as a team. That's why it's viable cause they do it as a team like the name suggest "Team Fortress 2"

Juochukwu Orji not every class has to be able to hold map control lol. The only classes that can are power classes like the soldier, demo or to an extent the heavy and the sniper because of his range and damage. Spy isn't meant to fill this role.
AeroliteGaming, I liked it because it adapts the map, to better it's stalemate problems. It has beautiful aesthetics. It got rid of reds annoying darkening-- I main sniper, so anyone on red had an advantage against me. I hope to see it in community servers, as i do have trouble downloading maps.
I was thinking of having a unique map mechanic added to the map. Aside from obviously adding a game timer to compel players to actually play to win, for a specific time every ~2 mins in the intel room, a power outrage with break out, causing all electronics (except a few emergency lights) to power down, including engie's buildings (sentries, dispensers, teleporters). This will last for around 5 seconds, giving the enemy team a chance to dogpile inside the room, destroy all turtles and nests and take the intel by force. This is kinda like an event trigger from the Clocktower in Helltower.
I really like 2fort, and seeing this makes me so happy that someone else actually cared enough to make it better. The only problems I see is 1) The lights on the edge of the water, I think they should be solid, since only the soldier and demo can go there, they're near useless but still fun to go up on. 2)the health room by the intel, I think this is kind of dumb and I don't see why you would want to hurt the engineer in so many ways, including the vantage point from above. Terri must really dislike engineer. Also you have 420 subs. I'm gonna make it 421

If you're going to waste the time to pretend to be helpful and warn everyone about every "probably" in the world - why wouldn't you actually check it and report the truth to be actually helpful. Is it too dangerous for you to click? well then surely you aren't security expert enough to warn others about anything then. ppl can also just search for "slicer" in the TF2 game server browser.

It makes it so that if an engineer wishes to be effective at defending the intel, he *has* to build _in_ the intel room, but now, with the additional angles of attack, it's even harder to defend down there, completely isolated from the rest of the team. For the intel to be that exposed, it needs to be moved closer to the defender's spawn. Look at ctf_doublecross or ctf_turbine, for example, the intel is very exposed on those maps but it's just a room away from main spawn, but on 2fort it's several winding corridors away. On this revamp, a scout or spy could grab your intel and be in the sewer and completely out of your base within moments, with little hope of recovery. This was clearly designed to favor spy and kneecap turtling, but ironically in doing so makes turtling in the intel room the _only_ effective means of defending the case.

Courtyard and spawn haven't been nerfed, except for the chute down to intel in the tunnel that means you dont have to go through either, making putting a sentry there pointless.
What this map needs now is some real Sniper nerfs. I'd say add glass to the windows in the middle areas of each balcony and add some barricades on the ground outside that people can take cover behind.
