Just a tip upgrade your cage to atleast 450 inches of flour space and get a hamster wheel but you are doing great

She flew 10:00 IN THE NIGHT! I was like: im not gonna sleep tonight im not im not…😩😭
We all looked for her and when we stopped… Link was chirping…AND I THEN WE HEAR ANOTHER BIRD MIMICKING HER! IT WAS *ZELDA!* WE SAW HER FLY BY LIKE- 3 TIMES! WE COULD SEE HER IN THE DARK BECAUSE SHE HAS ONLY BRIGHT COLORS…
then it was night time….i cried in my bed and got cheered up a little …
Next day i as going to my aunties house with my other cousins and played with their cats, Gumball and Darwin… i was there for a while… and then we went home.
while driving in the car, my oldest sister, showed me a message from my sister above me ( *i have 3 sisters, the oldest one, Marie, then after her, Morsal and then Samar and me the youngest T-T* )
Samar was home because she was sad about her and she heard her in the night so she couldn’t sleep…
Anyway, it was like:
Marie: *gaaaasp* Sana, look at this!
I look at her phone and it says
From samar: I SAW ZELDA FOY BY OUR NEIGHBORS HOUSE! (IM GETTING CLOSER!)
I WAS PRAAAAYING SHE COULD COME HOME…
BEFORE WE WENT HOME, MOM WANTED TO SAY HI, TO HER PARENTS (GRANDPA AND GRANDMA)
SINCE WE R MUSLIMS, MY GRANDPA PRAYED TO GOD SHE WOULD COME BACK…
we arrived home… i was like:
Me: hi sama- uhh
Samar: looks dead and whispering, *SHHH…..LINK TRIES TO TALK TO ZELDA!…* dad was home too)
Later they keep looking and hear Zelda mimicking link…
*AND ALL OF A SUDDEN!* MY MOM IS LIKE:
MOM: *GAAASP* SANA SANA! THEEEEERE SHE IS! ON OUR GARDEN TREE!
THE OTHERS WAS LIKE OMG THERE SHE IS ON THE TREE *THEEEEEEERE*
I COULD NOT SEE HER AND: WHERE *WHERE?!*
and there…i saw my bird I thought I would never see again…she was just SITTING ON THE TREE!
WE BRING LINK IN THE CAGE, TAKE IT OUT NEAR ZELDA AND THEY SEE EACH OTHER AND ZELDA *FLIES* ON TOP OF THE CAGE AND EATS MILLET ON TOP OF IT…MY MOM CAPTURES HER IN THE NET, RUN IN AND PUTS HER IN HER ROOM, LOCKS IT AND WE SCREAM: AAAAAA WE GOT HER! ZELDA IS BACK!!😭🥰✨🙏

I happen to be a Muslim too. My legal name is Paula but one of the brothers gave me the name Aisha on the day of my shahada.
I put a sand bath in my hamsters cage but he used it as his toilet and to bathe in so he was basically bathing in his own pee. Since that didn't work, I bought a hamster potty and a sand bath. he peed and ate in both. idk what to do because i want to give my hamster a potty but then he bathes in it and makes himself smell like pee.
I know you can't let your hamster get wet so how do you clean him if there's pee in him.
@@Aisha-721 hamsters clean themselves, unless there’s something sticky on them that they can’t get off themselves then don’t worry about having to clean ur hamster

if you havent tried put the poop in the little box and the bedding, your syrian might just like to poop in the bedding

Hamsters consume their substrate, bedding, and probably the litter. Is this safe for them to consume? I know not to get clumping cat litter, but is this safe?

Hello, some good information here thanks for the video, I do love the arrangement and toys, however I must ask is that all the bedding you use? Hamsters like to borrow so they will need at least 3 inches of bedding, looks like you only have about 1 inch here? Anyhow just trying to be helpful, cheers, XOXO L

My hamster put both front paws on the front of the potty and pushed down and flipped it over deliberately so it was out of the way, then climbed behind the upturned potty and went poopys.

Some "dwarf" or desert hamsters like to do that rather than peeing in the litterbox, sandbox or bedding. (A few Syrians do that but the smaller ones are more likely to do it.)
If your pet does that the wheel needs to be cleaned quite regularly. The hamsters that pee on their wheels are "marking" them as their territory.

Sooooooo... I bought a litter box. I put it in that corner Nacho (yes, the hamster) usually does her thing. She used it for the right purpose the first two days. But now she has dug out all the excrements and used it for a house instead, wich will soon be a pain when it comes to cleaning the cage and using more bedding than necessary. What can I do?

How often are you supposed clean the potties? Daily? Every two days?
Happycampergaming257 my hamster needs his potty cleaned every 2 days but some hamsters can go up to 4 days without is having to be cleaned 😅 if is starts to smell I would clean it, if that means everyday that is ok

hello! its just cat grass you can buy at the pet store. hamsters like to dig around and chew on it.
We have two hamsters, will they both need A potty or will they both use the one. Our hamsters are the Chinese Dwarfs. They are way way smaller than dwarf hamsters. We just got them two days ago. We are still learning. They are super nice. They don't bite.

That's true in different countries it different but in Canada and the U.S. That is the minimum. But in Germany and the uk the minimum is different. (This was for the person commenting that it wasn't true)

Make a bin cage! make wire parts for a bin, it's unexpensive and it's the best. check some videos on youtube, they show you how to do it!!
Good video, but you left out the variable that is completely unpredictable - the hamster! Mine kick all the sand out the 'potty'. They kick the sand into a different corner, and then go and pee in their plastic tunnels... When they see the potty sand they just play with it and want to scratch and kick all their bedding around... help!!

I have a toilet corner for my hamster. But she doesn't use it. When I take out all off the food inn the hiding house it is fully off poop there. Is that normal? And how do I get her to poop and pee inn the sand toilet?😍🐹💩🚽

If your hamster is potty trained they should pee in there potty but they poop anywhere they like really don’t worry it’s normal 👌

You don't specifically need it to go in a corner before you train it. I mean, it isn't something totally vital for it to work. Just choose a spot where you want to put your "litter box" for the hamster, and put the pearl things in it. It will want to go to the bathroom there, like she said, and should eventually get used to it. :)

Don't use sawdust - it can clog their breathing.
There are paper versions of the stuff, and people also like aspen shavings (type of tree). Never use pine/cedar shavings - the stuff that smells good also kills their breathing...
You need to get a different wheel that wheel is not good for hamsters it can cause bumble foot bumble foot is basicly a huge blister on your hamsters foot change your wheel for your hamsters sake.
