I've voted Labour ever since I could vote (almost 20 years now) in every single election I have voted in. I even voted for Corbyn in 2017, foolishly deluding myself into thinking that Corbyn being a Brexiteer was enough to get Brexit over the line. My town (Mansfield) was Labour for 102 consecutive years but voted 70.9% Leave.
My political hero is Tony Benn, the most Left-Wing Brexiteer there has ever been, he would be ashamed of Labour if he was still alive today (Rest his soul).
I look at the current Labour Party and apart from John Mann and Kate Hoey, I despair. It's been a long time since they were anyway but this version of the party is as far away at representing the working-class than it has ever been. We have always been economically Left of Centre, but also Right of Centre socially and culturally. The absolutely MASSIVE swing towards extreme social Liberalism came much faster than any of us anticipated and honestly it neutered a lot of us. Maybe people should understand that laws that have been agreed upon that are just, are laws rooted in regulating behavior. Just think about how smokers have been discriminated against in the past 20 years. Legal action is now strongly regulated because it is a behavior. Interesting thing I noticed in one of those articles. Owen wanted to "reclaim the euroskeptic cause". That's an absolutely bizarre statement. There is nothing to reclaim. Two groups of people who disagree on most things can still agree on euroskepticism. The fact that he wants to "reclaim" this, really belies the fact that it's all about control. It's not sufficient to agree on a specific point or policy. *His* tribe is the only one who is allowed to believe it. If the other tribe believes it as well, that serves to legitimize the other tribe in this eyes of his own tribe, as well as make it harder to inject more of his tribe's believes onto the issue as intellectual parasites (e.g., we saw this happen with feminism to create inter-sectional feminism), and that simply wouldn't be acceptable.
We actually have identified 4 genes that may be associated with an increased chance of being homosexual. It isn't clear cut and most things about people have multiple genes involved but it does help explain the behaviors and to what degree environment plays.

I always thought that the "sexual orientation is not a choice so you have to accept it" thing was a terrible argument.
