You can set the brightness to maximum

@@techholics6477 Even at max brightness it does not do too well in bright sunshine. Somewhat dissapointing, but most watches don't do that well (esp. at this price point).... so not a dealbreaker for me. What you can do to see just the time better is change the dial to an analog version. There's a very cool looking one with a greenish blue minute hour/minute hand (with orange at the tips).....and an all orange second hand. Even in sunlight you can make out the time with that dial....just not anything else. That dial also has a lot of other info (when you are not in sunlight) all one that one screen......and it's gray, so....if you get the K37 with the light gray strap like I did....it's VERY cool looking.
