I applaud 👏🏻 those who are multi-lingual because it ain’t easy to learn new languages and cultures. I’m learning Japanese 🇯🇵 and Russian 🇷🇺 which are one of the hardest language’s to learn and it’s a struggle 🥵

    in brief:
The video discusses strategies and the importance of consistency in language learning, especially for those with busy schedules.
    1. **Introduction**:
    - The video addresses those who have multiple responsibilities and struggle to find time for language learning.
    - Motivation is unreliable; it fluctuates daily. The benefits of language learning, not the act itself, are what drive many.
    - Relying solely on motivation or self-discipline often fails. The solution is to create systems that don't depend on either.
    2. **Why Learn a Language?**:
    - Learning languages improves cognitive abilities and offers opportunities to connect with new people, potentially leading to business opportunities.
    - The internet has made networking easier, allowing for connections across the globe.
    - Learning a language also broadens one's perspective, as it comes with understanding the culture and customs of the speakers.
    3. **Creating a System for Language Learning**:
    - Day 1: Planning and feedback day. Understand why you want to learn a language and plan realistically.
    - Day 2: Creation Day. For instance, create flashcards for vocabulary.
    - Days 3-7: Study days. Listen to content in the target language, practice with flashcards, and complete daily tasks.
    4. **Consistency is Key**:
    - Consistency, combined with reflection and improvement, is crucial. It's more important than raw talent or motivation.
    - The video emphasizes the importance of outworking others and being persistent. Consistency will eventually lead to success, even if one faces failures along the way.
    5. **Recommendations**:
    - The video recommends the Lingoda Language Sprints, a two-month intensive learning challenge, to see rapid progress.
    - The sprints offer group and private lessons in various languages, focusing on real-life conversations.
    6. **Conclusion**:
    - The video concludes with a message about the power of consistency. While talent, luck, and skills are essential, being consistent can outshine them all.
    - The journey might be filled with failures, but persistence and consistency will lead to success.
The video serves as an inspirational guide for those looking to integrate language learning into their busy lives, emphasizing the power of consistency and systematic planning.

After watching this, I want to continue learning Japanese and Korean. I got interested in those languages because of anime and K-pop. I have been learning it casually by myself for many years, and I took a Japanese online class for a semester. I want to learn so I can travel to Japan and Korea one day. Thank you, Ruri, for making this video! It's so helpful and informative.😊👍💕

I always try my best to continue to improve my English and a lot of native English speakers have told me that not only do they feel that I have good English but because of my mindset to always look for improvement, they said that I will surpass many native English speakers just because many of them are already content with the vocabulary that they have at their disposal and so they stay there, in contrast to me who always look to learn more. I listen to interviews from youtube mostly that's when I learn the best and also interacting with people who speak English to put what I learned to use :) I don't always have much to add to your content but yeah keep up the good work Ruri! Take care and much love to you all!

You almost hit 1M subs congrats Ruri! I love languages but I often give up because I don't find irl people with the same passion of mine. Plus, I'm not surrounded by people that speak my target languages and I ask myself "should I learn skills that are more worth it? Is my passion "stupid" compared to others?" Many times I say to myself that I've not been able to make a living from my hobbies and passions. Often I even neglect my passions because I reckon others to be more "useful". Need to learn listening to myself

Your video is absolutely stellar! I'm Emmanuel, currently living in Quebec, Canada - the second largest French-speaking province in the world after France. After relocating here and beginning my studies at McGill University, I encountered significant challenges due to the language barrier. Despite English being my first language, my lack of French proficiency has hindered my ability to secure the professional job I desire. This experience underscores how crucial communication skills are and how relying solely on one language can be insufficient.

How to make time for language learning with a full time job?
Actually balancing language learning with a full-time job can be very challenging, but with proper planning & dedication, it is certainly possible. Here are some strategies to help you make time for language learning:-
    1. Set some realistic goals: Determine what you want to achieve in your language learning journey & set specific, achievable goals.
Having clear objectives will help you stay motivated & focused.
2.Create a schedule: Plan dedicated time for language learning in your daily or weekly schedule. Identify pockets of time that you can consistently allocate for learning, such as early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
    3. Prioritize & eliminate distractions: Evaluate your daily activities & dentify areas where you can save time. Minimize or eliminate non-essential activities that consume your time, such as excessive TV watching or scrolling through social media. Prioritize language learning during those saved hours.
    4. Utilize commuting time: If you commute to work, utilize that time for language learning. Listen to language learning podcasts, audiobooks, or use language learning apps during your commute. This way, you can make the most of the time that would otherwise be spent idle.
    5. Break down learning sessions: Instead of trying to find large blocks of time, break down your language learning sessions into smaller, more manageable chunks. Even 15-30 minutes of focused learning each day can make a significant difference over time.
    6. Incorporate language learning into your daily routine: Find ways to integrate language learning into your daily activities. For example, change your phone or computer settings to the target language, label items in your house with their corresponding foreign language names, or practice speaking the language while doing household chores.
    7. Use online resources & apps: Take advantage of language learning resources available online & mobile apps that allow you to learn on the go. Platforms like Duolingo, Memrise, Babbel, or FluentU offer interactive lessons & exercises that can be accessed anytime.
    8. Find language exchange partners: Connect with native speakers or language exchange partners who are learning your native language. Schedule regular language exchange sessions where you can practice speaking and improve your skills.
9.Stay motivated: Keep your motivation high by reminding yourself of your language learning goals & the benefits it will bring. Celebrate small achievements along the way to maintain enthusiasm and track your progress.
    10. Be consistent: Consistency is key when learning a language. Aim for regular, consistent practice rather than occasional intense study sessions. Even if you can only devote a few minutes each day, the cumulative effect will make a difference.
Remember, learning a language is a long-term process, so be patient and enjoy the journey. With consistent effort & effective time management, you can successfully balance language learning with your full-time job.
    🤍❤ all your videos #RURI👍

Atm am doing my best to learn Spanish but I always constantly put things off until the next day. I don't have ADHD but I do suffer from something called "OCD" which causes me to have intrusive thoughts & it's a pain dealing with them on a daily to daily basis so am doing my best to fix the areas of my mind first before I focus on other things since I've realized everything starts within the mind. I've watched 2 of your UA-cam videos this being my second one and I'd just like to say you have great ideologies & advice on life I rlly appreciate that. There's so much I wanna do with my life that I don't even worry about relationships or anything like that since I've realized that's not rlly important rather my goals & happiness comes first. And I do agree with u consistency is very important. I rlly want to make a better life not just for me but my mom & am willing to do wtever it takes to make it happen I rlly am. I don't wanna be old with regrets in life...I wanna achieve as much as possible this world has to offer & am willing to do wtever it takes..Life can be so hard but it's even harder staying in the same place..same routine..with no changes..Thank u very much for this video am willing to take your advice & apply it to my life because time is so short nowadays I feel like am running out of time so I do my best to make each day count.

That jacket makes you appear way more confident than usual. A video on the idea of "look good feel good" and it's effect on quality of life and goal attainment would be awesome if you haven't made one already
