No doubt doing movies like haider will satisfy you as an actor but it will never take your stardum up. After Sanju & Animal Ranbir's star dun is now on another level and shahid is talking about the opportunity, Shahid did more films with big directors than Ranbir, He did films with Bhanshali, Suraj Barjatia, Sandeep reddy, Imtiaz Alli, Priyadarshan, Bishal bharadwaj, Vikash Bahal, Abhisek kapoor, Rajkumar Santoshi, Prabhu Deva, Abash Mastan, Under YRF (2) films & many more. His script choice is the worst. He has always complained about the Director, Screentime, his presentation, against co-stars openly in public. He should do more commercial movies instead of talking too much. After giving so many flops, he is still getting movies & appreciations because he was always a lovable & talented star. He has a loyal fanbase & i am One of them. Otherwise Vicky, Kartik, Ayushman even a promising newcomer like Laksh will surpass him next few years & he would still be an underrated superstar

Jersey movie is amazing but at that time it was Lockdown so film got released not at very big margin thats why its collection is low..but if you watch movie story then its awesome and much better movie than so called vfx movies like jawan , Pathan , tiger 3 etc
