I recently discovered your channel and I love your work.
I ordered a lot from the shop and now I wanted to do my own work. i like working with the 2 component clackle varnish. unfortunately it didn't turn out as I hoped. i started the bottom of the box first.
1. priming with acrylic paint.
2. Apply the crackle varnish 1
3. Apply the crackle varnish 2
4. Apply the antique wax
5. Apply the water-based varnish. now the problem started. the lower layer has dissolved and there was a white rough layer. what am I doing wrong??
Hi! Almost all two-component crackle varnishes are afraid of water-based varnishes. You can use a solvent-based topcoat only! I write about this in subtitles! Activate the subtitles and watch the video at 6.55 minutes. I recommend to clean the bottom of the box with water and apply all layers again. I wish you patience and success!

You can use oil paint instead of patina.
