      I have watched a concerning volume of True Crime Cases. Some fade away but others, like this one, as stick around in my be memory banks. No tracks in the snow. She had to have left in another passing vehicle.. voluntarily, or against her will, abducted.
      And that driver made her disappear. When she stopped at the ATM and bought booze she could have been targeted and followed with Perp waiting to abduct her. If she had not gone off in the ditch they may have planned to run her off the road. They might have been parked down the road watching her with binoculars.

      Thank you for this research you've provided. I had heard a bit about this case and seen the missing person posters with Maura's adorable face with her beautiful smile and dimples but no one gave the background information like you did. Such a tragedy. All the way around it's a very sad story but I am grateful you filled me in on these details, True Crime Recaps.

      @@dantesinferno1258 they are a TRUE CRIME SHOW CORRECT? WELL all of sudden they started to dig into Kim n Kanye's "relationship" as if Kanye had a "deep dark side" which is weird. I want to know exactly why the courts decided against giving her father the records for her case. Did they claim it was because it was "an ongoing case"? And they didn't want to admit that the investigation was at a complete dead end?

    Thanks for such a comprehensive vlog on this case. I especially respected the coverage of her problematic past. Many who cover this case don’t delve into her criminal history. She’s usually portrayed as an innocent girl who just packed up and left town. Although the thefts and other actions may not be linked to her disappearance, this was clearly a troubled woman. I personally think she died of exposure.

    Thank you again for another great video! I wasn't aware that you hadn't done this case. I think you did an excellent job. This case has dozens of odd directions that people have gone in the case. I think you've done well at cutting through the fluff and capturing the most important elements.
    If I had to guess, I'd say that she walked along the road and then went into the woods to avoid having to speak to the police and get an DUI. She was an athlete, and she had the endurance to go a long way. I think she took a turn that no one expected and walked far from the wreck. I think she died in the woods somewhere. Again, I consider that a guess. I'd put all kinds of other theories at nearly the same probability.

They said early on that he was cleared but I always had a feeling they let it go too easily. Then he passed away, so no chance of interrogating him ever again. Yes, the excavation of the basement yielded nothing but does that really prove innocence? It's been a while and I don't know if I'm getting the players in this case mixed up, so take it for what it's worth?

    Okay… so.. I’m a weirdo, and I remember hearing Maura’s name mentioned maybe being connected to Israel Keyes… so… look.. listen.. Maura went missing on Feb 9, 2004… Brianna Maitland went missing on March 19th of the same year… Maura went missing in Haverhill NH, Brianna went missing in Montgomery VT. That’s only 1 hour 44 min apart. Israel had a habit of traveling to kill and left kill kits of course; close together, both young, ( not that that mattered, he didn’t have a preference of victims, he got away with it for so long by literally using opportunity and planning just the location) same kind of circumstances. But then…. Actual confirmed victims, Bill and Lorraine Currier from Essex VT by Israel Keyes, he confessed… that is less than an hour away from both locations of the other two missing girls. Bill and Lorraine have NEVER been found, (due to destruction and shitty timing and just honestly him knowing how to do what he did well at the time) and NONE OF his other victims have been found except one, his last, Samantha Koenig and that’s only because he told them where and they found her. If they DID find any victims by him, they wouldn’t have known, he made that clear and it’s obvious being only 3 people have been tied to him 100% and only one body has ever been recovered. Soooo… wow… my brain.. this could be literally nothing, but Brianna I have never heard of and as soon as I heard her name and timing my brain just started going and idunno. Anyway… these cases bother me to my core because the truth… I need it.

    There are two brothers who own the same red truck spotted near her car. The local PD covered it up because the ski resort is the main and only way that their town brings in income (from tourists visiting the ski resort).

    I almost didn’t click on this video as I have seen several longer videos about this case. However I do like short recaps and seriously this short video is the most in depth one I have watched and I have learned a few new details. That said maybe it’s my shocking memory. 😂

    You have explained this bizarre mysterious disappearance of Maura Murray she seems to be a very smart Woman but having a troubled history the truly sad part is we will never know what really happened

  • @devinmiller5891

    I believe that she just Wanted to Disappear why? I wouldn’t say because of her school classes like nursing’s, it might be due to how difficult her parents were for her to deal with. Rumor has it that her father may Not seem nice person at all as we assumed and I’m not sure i’d Trust him.... because later, when the case went COLD! he declared her being DEAD numerous times until recently. Which for me could be a good riddance to her for choosing to run Away. And I think that’s the real reason why Maura Murray simply disappeared intentionally.

    This is a baffling case.I really don't have a theory.I met her dad a few times about a yr.after she vanished, and he told me that he felt there was a cover up by police in N.H.That wouldn't surprise me.

      That's unfair to say. It's not LE's fault Maura fled the scene of a crash w/all that booze in her car. It's easy to say there was a cover up but what does he have to back it up? LE's being used as a scapegoat.

    For the investigation to try finding beautiful Maura and there not being any footprints in the snow, makes my mind question every~which~way... unknown.
    How many witnesses are there known, to the "lack" of footprints... How much photographic evidence, is there in this case? Are the photos in evidence?
    Our love to Maura's true loved ones, and finding the answers to what they long to hear🙏💝🙏

    I think the day she disappeared. Was her most unlucky day. She crashed a car the night before , she was probably just planning to go away for a few days . Then she crashed her car. And I think she was the victim of a crime of opportunity. I think she got in the wrong car 😬

  • @trina1962
    @trina1962 2 роки тому +1

    I think that she was intoxicated and wandered off and her body is out in the wilderness somewhere. It was freezing and snowing. However, I do agree that it was most likely at a second site after being picked up.

    Sounds like something a young, impulsive person would do if they were meeting a prospective intimate encounter for the first time. While bus driver, Butch made a sensible suspect, stranger suspects don't usually call authorities and draw attention to themselves. I think she started walking the road and accepted a ride.

    • @jenniferrutledge8258
      @jenniferrutledge8258 Рік тому

      She crashed right in front of his house. It would seem suspect if he DIDNT call the cops. He was the last person to see her. I think they should look into Bus driver more. He moved out of state shortly after her disappearance. Also, he failed a polygraph. Apparently, cadaver dogs went crazy in front of his house. Also the bloodhound dogs lost her scent at his driveway. One of the theories is that she hopped aboard his bus, that is why the scent was lost.

    I didn't know the cops refused to release the files to the father. That's messed up. If you're gonna hold back little nuggets of info for "investigative purposes" then you need to be out there actively searching every damn day until she's found.

    Just like Brandon Lawson...she is in the woods somewhere but people would rather sit behind a phone and come up with off the wall theories instead of getting up and searching. I'm speaking of locals or people close enough to do so. I am in TX but I would walk those woods if I was able and close. Sad really.

    Seems to me she was in self-destruct mode by the time she took that final car journey. I doubt she set out with the intention of taking her own life but, when she crashed on that road, she maybe just thought "to hell with everything". Depression is a bad enough disease but when it's mixed with alcoholism it's ten times as corrosive.

    It sounds like to me since she had a little cash and booze and telling her boyfriend she'd call him later+ I think she was having an affair maybe meeting a married person and I think somebody picked her up after that accident and like you mentioned a crime of convenience or opportunity -it definitely is a mystery-I hope the family will someday get answers hopefully sooner than later

  • @kimwolf5053

    Why does everyone automatically jump to Faking Their Own Death and suicide. Most likely she had no cell phone reception and started to walk - evidenced by the dogs. She didn't run from police because she hadn't called them so didn't know they were coming. While she was walking down the road, a car stopped and she got in. I think it's that simple. He probably looked nice - an old guy or a clean cut guy. She got in because he looked safe and said the right things to her. With the rag, after you were in an accident, would you walk around and put a rag in the back of the car? I don't think so. I wonder if the rag had any DNA on it. I think she met the wrong person.
