- The Paradox Mini Bunker, a smaller spin off from the original Paradox Bunker. This affordable, reliable, double bunker base built for a solo or duo group will set any raider base at least 35+ rockets to all main loot. All built off a basic 1x1 starter base with airlock.
COST
*UPKEEP: 3.3k Stone, 2k Metal Fragments, 61 HQM
*BUILD COST: 19k Stone, 6.4k Metal Fragments, 305 HQM (HQM can be switched out for metal)
RAID (most ideal raid path)
*RAID (TC bunker): 23 Rockets
*RAID (Both bunkers + main loot): ~35 Rockets
DISCLAIMER: When considering raid cost I do not count jackhammering etc.

Love the build, but one minor detail is making sure to put triangle floor frames for the bunkers so the walls don’t get soft sided.
All bases are strong till the 30 man zerg show's up

Bunkers no longer work but you can add a high foundation bunker or just not have the single doors to the bunkers
Could you consider doing a video with how you would build the next level(s) of these bases. I’m an idiot who can’t do anything unless there are instructions or a visual. Great base

I would love to see that as well. And maybe a fence area to put a large furnace and refinery with a quick drop room. Maybe that’s a bit much I wish console had a build only feature.

Great build! But how do you power the auto turrets?
I added a large battery to the second bunker.. then a crafted shelf on the right side with 4 large boxes.. + a small box on the ground in front of the battery... i think I lose 2 large boxes this way, but the battery is pretty safe :D (I think you only need a small battery.. maybe with the triangle shelf you can place only 3 boxes on the ground and fit a medium battery in front of that..
Ive only been playing rust for 1 month how do you add a shooting floor? Lol also, love the design even a noob like me can keep it maintained
But you can splash rockets to both bunkers so its not really that worth to have 2 of them
How do you incorporate external TC’s into this build?
hey zypic, I love building bases and saw this when it came out and took inspiration, I am on console and made my own custom design, after I build the base, I realized that the bunker is either really hard to close or impossible. Thanks for the good base tho!
Thank you! I’m glad you like the base. Sealing the bunker is possible, not sure about where to look exactly on console.
I know I’m a bit late but with console you just have to get it almost pixel perfect I’d say but once you get it the first time it’s much easier, if you’ve already figured it out then nice
I need a microfarm, solo bunker design that's cheap upkeep...can you help?
Not a big builder myself, but the empty cube as part of the first roof bunker, is that honeycombing or just wasted space?
It’s honeycomb, if you want you could open it up and use it as more bunker storage but your base will be weaker
Nice compacted solo/duo base although it needs a little small change with the shoots. You need to add half walls instead of full walls since rockets and explo ammo can break the twig through the wall.
Don't build anymore so this bug could have been patched but just a thought to test out.

Thanks I’m glad you like it! And yeah that’s true, the twig does break but I kind of figured that if someone is raiding through the side then the drop down bunker is useless anyways so I just chose to make it slightly cheaper. Really it’s all just preference.

the triangle splash glitch is still very much a thing haha
@Lee Tabern a rocket will still splash it sadly and same with explo ammo and it doesn't take much but you are right in saying it makes it safer
Full sized paradox build lasted over 2 weeks on a busy server before wipe.
If you could do a short video showing how to build out 3rd floor with a shooting floor for the paradox base that be 🔥. Honestly it’s the build I’ve seen for a duo

Unfortunately this bunker doesn't work on console anymore i don't know about PC. But I've been here for 45 trying it and it doesn't work
Awesome base, however sealing the bunker doesn’t work on console. If someone has found a way please share
You can seal it on console, I just believe it’s just a slightly different angle then shown in the vid

It’s the same as the conquest and that works just fine.
I had an issue with a previous one of your builds where it says "not enough space" how do I fix this when trying ot close the bunker
"not enough space" or "line of sight blocked?"
Went last wipe without getting raided in this.
This wipe I last 1 day. They blew through the honey comb in between both bunkers straight to the TC. They only raided 1 bunker and tv and left everything else. Damn shame.

I play on console so I need this other bunkers u need a mouse to do🥲 also there isn't signs on console so that make shift jump up doesn't work
