    Should the bullets be lubed for every process you using? I know that it should be used for bullet resizing but what about for the bullet seating process? Also when cleaning your brass, if you use the sonic cleaner by Hornady they express how well it cleans the inside and primer pocket of the bullet. Would you,if using the sonic cleaner, lube your bullet and resize/ deprime them before cleaning them?

    Get the Lee classic cast with Breech lock update. It’s cheaper, made from cast iron and built like a tank, does everything this Hornady press does(I think Hornady rode off of Lees breech lock idea), will load accurate ammunition, and last a lifetime.

    • @ChristopherJones16
      @ChristopherJones16 8 років тому

      Now if we can only get our hands on the molds used to make those primers.. we can smelt our on steel and pour those as well. But im guessing theyre made by a press stamping them out of a perfect flat sheet of steel

    • @anonfilly7335
      @anonfilly7335 8 років тому

      Christopher Jones They are stamped, and it's much to dangerous to make them indivisibly. The sensitive explosives require a lot of care, one without proper professional training cannot handle them without danger. I know explosives so I know people will just blow their fingers off. Powder is ok because it isn't impact sensitive. Its best to just buy them a lot and vacuum seal them. Plus you cant smelt steel to make a small item like a primer. It can only me stamped on a press.
