Seriously though. Yo Ivan, little review here if you give a shit.
So the story feels really well thought out and hopefuly it's building up towards something exciting, but there's this point were it overtakes the comedy completly and it just feels boring. There's this thin line between being overly dramatic and comedy that is very hard not to cross too much to one side, or to find a nice balance to it. Specially when developing characters. There has to be a better way to do it without sacrificing one or the other, especially when we are aiming for comedy as the major tone of this type of videos [At least I hope people see it that way, otherwise you're wasting my time] you're working your way towards that sweet spot, but it's not quite there yet. For now, since you wanna tell an "original" story (as original as it can get within the limitations of the source material) there's points where the exposition required to achive that feels too forced or drags the momentum of the episode. As soon as you got that outta the way in some sense half way through the episode and when the race started, the video really picked up. Also I noticed that the dialog (And this happens to a lot of fucking people, I know 'cause sadly I experince that myself at times) feels more like statements or too monologue-esque than actual dialogue between two or whatever people. They just wanna get their shit in without feeling like an actual interaction. It's not imposible to achive, but the delivery has to be very specific for it to work out.
The score bored me to death, but that's a huge bias of my being a music lover nutjob. I guess the only real critisim there would be that letting one track play for long periods of time without using it to elevate the scene, feels like it's just there to fill space or just so it's not quiet and to me that seems a little bit lazy, but whatever, it's not like we can get custom scores that easily for this type of videos. But anyway, overall this style has potential if done right.

Oh and one last thing, that shit at the beginning when you were sucking your own dick. Legitimately cringy. I don't give a shit who's doing what or who feels superior to whoever the fuck, just get this shit going.

Honestly, how can anyone hate this? I've seen all of TeamFourStar's Dragon Ball Z Abridged, and as much as I loved that, this just provides so much more originality and creativity. I welcome the mold-breaking this series does, as opposed to the usual "make things shorter and funnier" that most series do. Ngl, I want to see more Abridged series like this that change things up and genuinely create interest. I actually started watching because my brother told me Izuku died in it, I was insanely curious, so now it's time to see just how crazy and creative this series gets from this point on.

This. Is. FUCKING! ART! Holy shit, this has been the only professionally made fan series that I've watched to exhibit such ingenuity. It's like a breath of fresh air. The comedy is well timed and well executed. Moreover isn't at all tacky nor repetitive which effectively made every single one of my laughs genuine. The voice actors do a great job at portraying the characters. All the voices are clear and easy to understand especially Eraserhead. What tops it off is your policy of not giving one fuck. Which basically means that no one is safe. Not even the main character. I have to give props to the writer, going by that kind of system requires incredible diligence in order to not degrade the overall quality of the story which in my opinion was executed flawlessly. I absolutely can not wait to see how you develop the story next! P.S. Sorry for the wall of text. P.P.S. The way you snuffed out Mei was brutal as fuck, damn.

I fucking love this. Yes this is not your typical abrigdment but it's a great one. It's gonna be interesting watching this series without the main character.
I was looking for a message box to send this directly to you guys, but honestly I love the direction you guys took My Hero Abridged. I found the series accidentally a couple of months ago maybe and Ive already watched it in its entirety like thrice. Yall got a perfect blend of familiar and alien going on with the characters and story(special shoutout to Deku getting iced outta nowhere in episode 5), as well as a great balance to the humor and seriousness of the show as a whole. It feels like a real show rather than a parody and I think thats an amazing achievement. I wish I could do what you folks do, cause its fantastic.
In all realness, I'd say I like it at least as much as the real show.
