I love the new bulletin board! The feel of your classroom is neutral and outdoorsy (which i LOVE!). I think the environment of a classroom is so important and you nailed it! The mix of neutrals, woods, and greenery makes it feel peaceful and relaxing instead of having colors all over the place
I am definitely stealing the flat sheet idea! I'm not going to change my bulletin boards until the end of the year, but yours look great so I may have to try it earlier!
I think you have done a great job with your bulletin boards. I like how you stretched the fabric and got the creases out and looks so perfect. I am going to do this with my boards in my new classroom. Great idea
I'm especially liking the look of the little nook where you have the clipboards/writing center. How did you make the inner layer of border on that bulletin board? Is it pieces of book pages too? It almost looks like old repurposed library cards, which would be awesome! I like it!
I prefer the new room design over the other one. To be honest i was never really a fan of that paper on the back wall. But this layout looks absolutely A M A Z I N G! Well done! By the way, I prefer to teach in from of the door because I have the feeling of the full control of who is in and out and what is happening in my classroom.
I put a flat sheet over my bulletin board, also!! I Velcro it to the top of the frame and then on one side of the sheet.. it's easier to take down at the end of the school year when we have to remove everything
I love the changes to your classroom! 😀 It is so bright and inviting. I definitely feel like I am going to be the teacher who changes the student seating arrangement at least once per quarter. I feel like it is one of the most influential ways for building classroom community. You are awesome! Thank you for the great tips and strategies! 😀
You know I'm gutted the wall is gone, but I know you'll come up with something better! You have such an amazing classroom space. I can't wait to get my own class room!
Hiya lovely! I love the classroom as always. I was thinking “oh no don’t get rid of the wallpaper!!!!” but after seeing how much brighter the room is, I agree with you. I will definitely will be trying out the flat sheet idea for the backing of the boards next year school. I wish I had the energy that you have to change my room mid year! Keep up the great work. Take care and take some time for yourself too. Bye.
+Shazana Ali - Hussain yay! I’m so happy you agree. Even my kids are starting to like it better 😅 I don’t have it all planned out but I needed it down to really see and think about what I want.
I love your new room design and details! Speaking of, what do you use for the hordes of your B.B. behind the black? Are those book pages? Thank you for your inspiration always!
Great video! I’m new so could you explain how you decide which kids go where? Do they stay with you all day or switch with your other team teachers? I was just wondering how that works with your MAC team😊
Y'all love the room changes seems much more slick! However that back wall definitely needs something on it from what I can see it looks a bit battered lol is there any way that you could re paper it with a new wall paper design that's brighter and goes with the new rug and bulletin boards etc ??
Yasss! Bridget that would look gorgeous and bright it would literally look like exposed brick work or there's always that light wooden panel type paper (Tina bietler used it for her bulletin boards) just an idea but absolutely love the idea of white brick work it's just that wall needs something like that looks a bit tired as it is. Love you're channel an amazing teacher
What happened to your beautiful brown dining table??? I loved it! That is what gave me the first itch to become a flexible seating classroom. i also loooovvveee changing my room around. I seem to do it every 2 months or so. Kids walk in saying "again?" but they love it too! Love you benches.
Room looks great! We usually paint the cork but that is much better. Was that a heavy duty stapler you used to put it up? I think I will try the sheets next year! Thanks for the great ideas Bridget! ❤️
jeffrey jurial I give points throughout the day. Sometimes I give the points with a slip that has them write their names and house name down. They place this in a jar and at the end of the day the points are added to the board. Other times I add it to the total immediately. Points are award for various behaviors. If they raise their hand, say an answer that no else remembers, has the cleanest area, are ready and focused or for showing PRIDE behavior. Hope this helps ✌🏼😘
Can some explain me what those abbreviations means? I suppose she's talking about subjects but I would like to know the names. (we don't have the same subjects in my country)
can you do a day in the life vlog? like without the school part....Not trying to offend you or anything like that but i really would like to see one of those..
I still think you need your desk back in that back corner. I just don't think the height of your chair and bench are ergonomically correct for you and you may see the effect in your back in time. Time to move on from Harry Potter. You almost need a storeroom to move stuff out and in.

+Rebecca Healy you totally get me! 😘👍🏼 that’s the exact look I’m going for.
I'm learning so much from your videos, thank you so much for taking the time to help fellow teachers out
I teach in a school where 2 to 3 of our walls are glass. I always feel like I'm teaching on display. I love your new classroom set-up ♡.
I LOVE Exploding Kittens! My brother & his family & I play that every time we get together.
I am definitely stealing the flat sheet idea! I'm not going to change my bulletin boards until the end of the year, but yours look great so I may have to try it earlier!
I need the jacket!!! Second video I’m watching this morning and I love it :)

I think your room looks great! I use those Walmart sheets too....super cheap, very sturdy, and they look good.

+R Woodard Future Teacher yay! So glad you like it! 🙌🏼 I was really nervous to hear what y’all think 😅
Love the new room design!
+Susan Stegall thank you so much!!!!! I was so nervous to show y’all the madness that I had created!

I love the room design, but what I really want to know is where you got that brown leather bag.
I think your bulletin board looks great!
Love all your teacher vlogs
I love the way you layout your classroom. It looks really good ❤️
+Ashley Haskins thank you so much. Honestly, I was so nervous to show y’all what I had done... 😅
The room looks great. We love that game too (Spot it) , here in the UK it's called Dobble.
+Reception Talker ❤️
I like it... its clean, light, and airy... looks great!
+Dee Jefferson awwww.... thank you soooo much!
I love your new room design and details! Speaking of, what do you use for the hordes of your B.B. behind the black? Are those book pages? Thank you for your inspiration always!
Love the bulletin boards- what did you use to hang clip boards up with?
I like the board and I would do it for all board to make it look nice and you inspire me so much
Great video! I’m new so could you explain how you decide which kids go where? Do they stay with you all day or switch with your other team teachers? I was just wondering how that works with your MAC team😊

I'm not going to lie that I thought about putting up a white brick paper.

Just wondering are you allowed to paint you're classroom?
What happened to your beautiful brown dining table??? I loved it! That is what gave me the first itch to become a flexible seating classroom. i also loooovvveee changing my room around. I seem to do it every 2 months or so. Kids walk in saying "again?" but they love it too! Love you benches.
Its gone home
Room looks great! We usually paint the cork but that is much better. Was that a heavy duty stapler you used to put it up? I think I will try the sheets next year! Thanks for the great ideas Bridget! ❤️
+Christy Donnelly I’ve seen that too! Hope it works out for you! I love it.
I just discovered your channel, I absolutely love the new room design! 😀
Put those awesome flowers above the window like a valance. “Nobody puts baby in a corner”
+Shaumbe hahahahaha... love that quote!
UA-cam hasn’t been notifying me about your uploads! 😭 time to catch up on all the ones I missed haha
Could you explain how grading works for the Mac team and J A Biztown?
I had always wondered where the house names came from!
How do you do the house system and when do you give your kids points?
jeffrey jurial I give points throughout the day. Sometimes I give the points with a slip that has them write their names and house name down. They place this in a jar and at the end of the day the points are added to the board. Other times I add it to the total immediately. Points are award for various behaviors. The Lettered Classroom Yey! Thanks! Going to try this in my own 5th grade classroom :) Happy Easter!!
I don’t like teaching in front of my door mostly because I’m not a quiet teacher. And yes to moving around!
+Amanda Poland yes! I totally feel you!
Where do your kids put their textbooks?
+Rachel McFeters no textbooks 😉👍🏼 we have the web!
The Lettered Classroom slightly jealous. My second graders have several textbooks to corral.
+Rachel McFeters awww.... 😓 not fun at all.
Can some explain me what those abbreviations means? I suppose she's talking about subjects but I would like to know the names. (we don't have the same subjects in my country)

What exactly is JA Biztown about?? I'm new at your channel so I'm a little confused 😐
Genci Gaming its a place that helps students to learn real world things such as having a job/schedule, and working with money.
Do a V.I.P. table
What are those little frames called?
I have the links to the frames in the description box.
can you do a day in the life vlog? like without the school part....Not trying to offend you or anything like that but i really would like to see one of those..
+Sajida Bashir it’ll come... takes sooo much time to film.
I knew you were going to go back to that corner. 😁😁😁
+Bailey Yale ❤️ I love it back there!!!!
I’m in middle school and want to become a teacher. You are like my inspiration
I still think you need your desk back in that back corner. I just don't think the height of your chair and bench are ergonomically correct for you and you may see the effect in your back in time. Time to move on from Harry Potter. You almost need a storeroom to move stuff out and in.
Why are you teaching cheque books? These are rarely used in personal banking these days. Just asking.
Carolyn Miles Incase the bank screws up you have documented the right way
thx
+Carolyn Miles it’s part of the curriculum for JA BizTown which teaches our economic standards 😉
Thank you Bridgette. You make my weekends. Thank you.
