- I made this video approximately one month after getting my 1991 Toyota Townace. The truck is similar to a kei truck but it is noticeably larger. It is closer to the size of a mid 2000s ranger or tacoma. The Townace has a 2.0L diesel and is a blast to drive! Let me know if you want more videos involving the Townace.
Handy size truck. Not seen in the UK. Drivng a Piaggio Porter diesel truck ,7ft 6in bed length.
Love it! Would take it out on sand trails stock?
thanks for sharing! after learning about this, it makes me wish I went with one of these "Full size" trucks vs my honda acty but they both look like they're fun. have you found that the maintenance for the diesel is more difficult/harder than the gasoline version engine?
Hey dude! Love your cm65. I’ve got the same truck, 2C NA diesel, I’d love to see you turbo it! Also, do you know the tow capacity of the “heavy duty” cm65? It should be more than the regular townace? But I can’t find any actual info lol I’d also love to see a head unit write up. No music is sad lol
Also, I got 26mpg screaming on the freeway. Probably better on back roads.
How much sir
How difficult was the import process for these particular trucks ?
Cool truck!
Thanks dev_rb5086!
You yanks don't get it it's a Liteace UTE not a truck a truck can carry the UTE but a UTE can't carry a truck you got it it's a UTE and if you came to Australia and started calling UTEs trucks Australians would give you a funny look and inform you it's a UTE mate got it and there was a bumper sticker around "Real men drive utes" got it now if you call it a pick up that's OK but just call the a UTE and there a couple of Hokden UTEs in the USA now they look nothing like a truck and the Fird Ranchero in Australia was the Ford Falcon ute instead of a car truck its much easier and quicker to say ute
