This video was in my feed today and I loved it! I don't felt, but the leaf part looks achievable. I hope you post more videos like this, it was so inspiring and relaxing. Thank you!!
I have seen the oak leaf bed before, online, but the little acorn baby is soooo adorable! I enjoyed learning how to sew the oak leaf bed, and how to make the sweet little acorn baby! Thank you so much for sharing this craft. Take care, and stay safe! ~Janet in Canada 💕💕
Hello thanks for sharing your lovely baby I have just finished one looks so sweet really enjoyed making it two more for my grand children thanks again xx
@@the_everydayartisanMy pleasure. Am so excited about all your delicious treasures I am going to make! Was swooning over the fairy furniture. One of my sisters has already started on the acorn baby for herself. You are one of our kind. ❤️
This enchanting video came up on my feed after taking my first break of the day after spending the day canning. So calming and peaceful to watch this as you work the delightful craft with your skilled hands. Bless you for sharing . I know two little granddaughters who would love this and I just may have most of the materials on hand. The change in seasons has me yearning to rest my spirit more and take delight in creating some whimsical joy for others. Thank you so much for sharing your gift. Following and sharing.
A cute autumn craft idea! I am not good at hand-stitching but will try with my sewing machine. I have some small wooden peg-type doll bases that would be perfect for this! Thanks for sharing!
This is super cute 🥰 More of these videos please. Thank you for the easy instructions. I was thinking this would make a cute keepsake Christmas ornament ❤
I havent made one of these type of little dolls in years. Looking forward to creating this. Absolutely adorable. I must admit, with my arthritis I will probably be doing most of it on my sewing machine.
Hi you have just come on my recommended channel . I don't normally watch a full video . But this took me back to my childhood 60 yrs ago. I've really enjoyed your whole show . I've subbed and liked . From Glasgow uk
This little doll reminds me of a story from the 1930s, called Miss Hickory. She was a little doll with a head made from a hickory nut and a heart for adventure who was just big enough to fit in a little girl's pocket. You are so clever with your hands!
Absolutely love 💘this little doll! I have always love leafs things and acorns, now I can make something that will give me joy all year long!! Thank you so much!
Absolutely adorable and easy enough to create with nature’& craft supplies! I too am an artisan, I found your video soothing, comforting informative and full of GOODNESS & …..JOY!! TY for sharing your craft with us ❤! You succeeded in bringing JOY & wee wonderment to the world! In short …. MORE PLEASE!! God bless you! 🙏🙌💗👍🌞✌️💗🫶🏻🧒🏽🍂🍁🌳
This was such a lovely video. It brought back memories of my aunt creating unique hand sewn crafts. Brilliant project and so adorable!!! Thank you for sharing!!!🍂✨🌟✨🥰✨🌟✨🍂
Well that was just magical.. thank you so much.. my fingers can't do much anymore... but I feel motivated to try to make that adorable little leaf pocket and baby.. thank you so much!
These are adorable and I agree with you that making something brings joy as that is why I do it as well. I think a nice touch to these dolls would be applying some herbs to sent them when touch just to remind us why nature itself is something to never take for granted and to love.
You had me at the thumbnail.....that doll is the sweetest little treasure, my heart melted. Wonderfully a craft I feel l could have a decent stab at too. I absolutely love working with felt and embroidery silks. Many thanks for the inspiration. 😊
So beautiful! Unfortunately we don't have any acorns... or oak trees here in Australia, or none that I've ever seen anyway, and I've travelled all around the country. I just love the shapes of oak leaves and the little acorns are just delightful. I can imagine, when I was a little girl, painting faces on the little acorns and leaving their little caps on them and putting them inside match boxes with cotton wool and tiny pieces of fabric to have them as baby dolls. These are just so very precious and I think that you are very creative to have come up with the idea of making oak leaf shapes as little beds for your acorns babies. We have gum nuts here so perhaps I possibly try making something with them ... if I can find gum nuts in the subtropics where I live. Thank you for sharing your beautiful little babies with us.
Thank you for your message! I am always hoping that my tutorials offer ideas or jumping points for crafting with what you have at your fingertips. Leaf babies of any sort would be darling. I too imagined wee babies in matchboxes when I was little!! Or the old book "Miss Hickory" which was about a tiny stick doll with an acorn head or a hazelnut head... Again - thank you and Enjoy!!
I’m beyond delighted that your Channel popped up on my UA-cam algorithm! I enjoyed your video immensely and the background music was so relaxing. I love making little things for my 4 year old Granddaughter. I immediately subscribed and rang the notification bell. Thank you. ☺️
You have just transported millions of women back to being a little girl with a sweet tiny doll. Love it to bits! ♥
You are so kind! Thank you!
Thank you, I love this video. Now going to try to make my own. ❤️
Wonderful! Enjoy!!! 😊
That has got to be the cutest thing I’ve seen yet ❤❤❤

Thank you so very much! I will definitely do more wee dollmaking!
Perhaps you might be able to use a small old fashion wooden peg or a small piece of dowl?
@@gerrybford Yes I think that would work. Definitely something I want to try.

Thank you very much!! I used a cotton tricot that I order from The Olive Sparrow - I have put a link in the show notes.😊

The Hand sewing is what makes this so pleasingly homespun….not sure machine sewing would create the same attraction. These are so adorable.
Thank you!! The process of hand sewing can be quite relaxing!
Oh my gosh!!!! Reminded me of using a walnut and placing my mouse made out of felt, into his bed!!!!
So cute!! I am glad you liked it!
