Void of Voices presents Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog S1E5. In this episode, the Freedom Fighters must compete for their lives in the Robotropolis Olympic Games; Rotor bites more than he can chew when he orders a ravenous termite that eats everything in sight. Coupled with some one-pagers, traditional animated segments, and brand new in-episode bumpers right out of the 90s.

Antoine really grew on me over the years. Having a character who has an ego like sonic, but is constantly the foil to the regal etiquette and short-comings left alot of growing for him to do.
I think the reason I love the freedom fighters so much is because most of them don't have super human abilities they are just people who decided to take a stand against the man who stole their childhood away.
Another fun issue, another outstanding dub!
Also, Antoine's intermissions were hilarious!

The amount of time and effort these people put into these comic dubs are simply amazing, it brings back memories of my childhood of watching sat am, it kinda made me tear up too, keep up the good work guys!

Hey I just wanted to say all of these Archie dubs are excellent, the Editing, the sound effects, the voice actors and actresses, the OG Sonic satam voice is so damn good everybody really never stop making these seriously keep up the good work, Western Sonic media hit's different!

just a random idea i had but it would be interesting to see the character’s voices change as the comic goes thru several eras
sonic, for example: starts out with jaleel white, then around issue 39 he now sounds like martin bruke’s portrayal in the OVA, then to ryan drummond at issue 71, then jason griffith at like, issue 130, and then roger craig smith from issue 200 onwards
A great idea, although regarding Martin Burke's Sonic, we are right now only having OVA Sonic's voice be used for IDW Anniversary special dubs. At the moment, we don't intend to incorporate OVA Sonic's voice into the Archie dub.

We plan to do all of Archie eventually. It's going to take a good amount of time but we're up for the task

You’re starting to sound like a Saturday morning Cartoon.. only it’s Friday.
The Idea was to capture that Era of the 90s where Cartoon Channels had their own bumpers. Saturday morning pioneered it for sure with Kids WB Fox Kids Disney etc but after that Cartoon Network and Nick began to have these bumpers and so we wanted to capture that type of feeling. We would upload Saturday mornings but idk who will be awake for them lol glad you enjoyed the Episode though.

Why is he called boomer and not Rotor
In the early issues, he was known as Boomer because that was his original name. In later issues, they call him Boomer. Boomer is also supposed to be a nickname of his in Sonic SatAM.
